  1. I have been to the one in Nashville and received excellent service there. It was fairly busy and I had forgotten my VIP card and they spent some significant time trying various options to look up my number before showing me how I could register my purchase for points later. Very friendly and helpful.
  2. I would appreciate a scan of the parts list. Thanks.
  3. I placed a weight on the closed shell overnight and it is staying closed now.

  7. As older Lego fans, our joy in the modular line hinges on the elegance of design, unique part use, and emphasis on "adult" colours. The build is the thing. Playability does not really enter into it at all. Our first was the Fire Brigade. That set lit the fire for modulars, so much so that, fortunately, we quickly Bricklinked the parts for Cafe Corner, which had just been discontinued. After that we have eagerly looked forward to each new modular, and have not been disappointed. Till now. When the hi-res scans came out, we closely examined each to see if there was something that would re-ignite our interest, but such is apparently not to be. This will be the first modular we will not buy. Better luck next year, we hope.
  8. I became a member because of the news and rumours about new sets.
  9. The part that intrigues me is the piece that joins the two tap bases together in the sax. Like the looks of this set.
  10. So after my last reply, I played around some more and eventually managed to find the files. There were two fully downloaded and unzipped managers, one of which did not work and one of which did, at least for the one model that I downloaded as a trial. I added a short cut to my desktop and accessed the program from that successfully. I am somewhat relieved that I was able to get this going. I recently got a new laptop with Windows 7. Formerly I was an XP user. Every time they change these things, it's like a whole new world... Thank you very much for all the work that must have gone into producing this.
  11. I have tried numerous times to download the LDD Manager and have failed. I am running Windows 7 and have experienced the following difficulties: 1) I first tried just running the program rather than saving it. Got the main window for for the program and tried to import an LDD file. It would not allow me to do this. I got some kind of message about needing some number. I wish I could be more specific, but I have been getting so many different error messages that I have lost track. Also opened as Read Only. 2) Today I tried saving the file to my computer. Downloaded 3 times to different places on my drive. Took a long time to find the file after that. I noted where it said it should be but when I went there it was nowhere to be seen. Eventually could find it on a window when I went to try another download. Tried to extract the file from there and got numerous error messages. I know it is on my computer in several places but can't get to them. In the download window the zip file is visible in a folder, but when I go to that folder on my computer, the file is not visible. This after I have changed the settings for folders to make all files visible. I have spent several hours trying to make this work. The basic screen options that I saw when I just ran the program indicate that it should do exactly what I want. However, so far this is way more trouble than it is worth. Thanks for trying though...
  12. Is there any way to generate a part list in LDD4? Or do I just have to go step by step and write out the parts?
