  1. Great to see you César, presenting your work here too! Nice MOD you made! But prefer the version where you used the Tipper Bucket from 7344, despite the small scale mismatch. Somehow, it is not showing up, at your post (at least for the moment at my laptop)...
  2. This his an hard choice... I simply love most of the CrowKillers cars, but my favorite car at the moment is the latest Conceptcar, by Nathanael Kuipers http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=339403 It presents a genial and gorgeous design, not running into an excessive partcount whith beams stacked over each other. However, my best ever favorite TECHNIC MOC, still goes for the Pneumatic Excavator from Jennifer Clark, pointed by Eric in the first post.
  3. Good work as usual! From my perspective t would be nice to have a link for downloading these revolving Gifs in larger format. The controllable 360º animations, ara also cool if you manage to embed them into the models page. They don't be necessarily very large, despite I'm not a specialist on how to produce them. For really large and detailed ones, you could just add a link for download. At least the render details we would see, should be much better what obtained with LDView!?
  4. Hi Eric, it is difficult to say something helpful, after your words about your faith. Myself had realized about the unusual long period with no updates, but though you were getting borrowed of doing this... Keep the good work, because we are here to appreciate!!
  5. But at least the new Excavator (8294) and Telehnadler (8295) come with instructions to add a Power Functions Kit. It is a pitty that with actual 8294 size, it turns difficult to add PF to every single function possible. Hope to see a larger model of this kind of machine soon. And of course a new Supercar. On the other way, have to admit that this year Off-Roader (8297) brought some extent of design innovation, with its motorized raising suspension.
  6. A good review and an outstanding set of course! Nice to see it back here. I wouldn't say it is the best TECHNIC set ever, because there are a few others I like too much as well (8455, 8421, 8479, 8480,...). But definitely one of the best ones and they aren't really comparable.
  7. Linear Actuators Review - Part II, was added. http://technicbricks.blogspot.com/2008/08/...-pf-linear.html
  8. Great review! Thanks Better if you managed to reduce the pictures and displayed them into the post. I've just ordered one Axalara T9, for the new red panels... I believe they could be of great use in some TECHNIC MOCs.
  9. Remembered today, it could worth. Well... lets say it would worth if it serves to increase the TECHNIC interest, among EB readers.
  10. As you guys use to publish here some sets reviews, I decided to let you know a few reviews I made at TechnicBRICKs for the 2H2008 new TECHNIC sets and parts. I believe it doesn't justify the effort to copy and format everything here, so I decided for a few links if you don't mind. 8294, Excavator - Review http://technicbricks.blogspot.com/2008/07/...-excavator.html Linear Actuators Review - Part I http://technicbricks.blogspot.com/2008/07/...-pf-linear.html New parts at 8297, Off Roader http://technicbricks.blogspot.com/2008/07/...s-included.html In the next days, I plan to add a few more reviews. Namely: - Linear Actuators Review - Part II >> 2008.Aug.03, done this! http://technicbricks.blogspot.com/2008/08/...-pf-linear.html - 8297, Off Roader - Review Have a nice reading!
  11. Good work, once more! Loved to see the Back-hoe animations. Can't wait to see the 8455 :-D
  12. LEGO just created the Design Studio, at their TECHNIC webpage. There you will, Find the Design Blog, to keep you updated with events and ideas Be able to Ask a Designer. Leave there all you ever wanted to know about LEGO TECHNIC. Meet the LEGO TECHNIC design team, at Designer Bios. From left to right: NH, Rocco, Kossi, Alfredo, Lasse, Uwe and Goose Valley. Lucky guys, these ones!... Find the Blog Archive. Find the Building Instructions, for some LEGO TECHNIC models. Enjoy!
  13. A repository for TECHNIC Ldraw files, would be great! *sweet* Some can be found at Brickshelf, but not so much. Fortunately the bigest and most emblematic ones. :-)
  14. And more pics, at the usual place ;-) .
  15. Thanks to Merman! Who brought them to my attention so fast. :-)
  16. More pics from Toy Fair 2008 (NY) at TechnicBRICKs.
  17. Yuo can see one also, on the photo above the Sinner posted. Just behind the Pole Reverser.
  18. And if you really want, you can buy just the new Power Functions Kit antecipated above for a much more reasonable price. With it, you will get both the Lights and Pole Reverser with just a few adds.
  19. The wheels are 54120 from rear axis on set 8284 (Dune Buggy). It will be the first set that brings 4 of those.
  20. Ok, I'll correct in that direction. Thanks for the suggestion. Please understand that: - I didn't knew Pocket-lint before and don't know nothing about them (sorry). - I didn't knew they went into a toy fair to see this model, because it is not written in the post. - I copied the photos, because there was a significant chance to have them deleted in some time, as it happened before here. Fortunately I had my copies and later had to copy the Images into my BS folder also and change the post. This made, I made it all at once... I had no bat intention at all with this, and as you can see there are several circunstances which were not written and I wasn't aware. Naturally I could have wriiten many different things, as in all other posts. There are no few cases where my posts are credited just with a small footnote too at different blogs, and I never saw a problem with that, but Ok I got your point and concern. Thanks for the information you gave us. As you wrote it is a pitty they are not specialists (or AFOLs) on these matters, so they could have shot really interesting angles :-( . And now as I wrote, I'll update the post including part of your suggestions. ;-) Pocket-lint, Pocket-lint, Pocket-lint *sweet*
  21. Just an add note... :-| I do believe the blog post would even make the Pocket-link to get more visits (on this topic), they would get otherwise. Many will go there, coming from different origins, which will never do by other way just because that's the way WWW works and knowladge spreads. :-)
  22. Ok, we are unbderstood now! No bad fellings about. Thanks
  23. TechnicBRICKs have been receiveing good feedback from several readers, being happy to have a Blog fully dedicated to the TECHNIC theme. That's enough for me! Otherwise it doesn't worth to continue. And it is not the only place where I do invest huge ammount of hours too. I should say, I'm also moderator for the TECHNIC section into my LUG forum with a different language, so I can split my personal effort among several similar projects, for zero cents too (just passion). ;-)
