Ragnarök Now Redux - Day Three
Darkdragon replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Really? They wouldn't? Wow, you are full of insight. A scum wouldn't have a reason for the vote and would "not see" the question or whatever. They would not answer. -

Patrekr, your theory about me makes no sense at all. First of all I never have had or will have a "puppet master". I've explained my voting from day one, and it seems like you are just trying to move attention off Def with this long writeup of nonsense. -

Helga, I'm having trouble articulating any of my suspicions and when I do people just say it's stupid to suspect someone for [any reason i give] so  This is exactly why i've been quiet. I'm not proposing you say anything in any way, I refuse to get stuck on something like that as some sort of argument point. It struck me as an odd thing to say and I stated that fact. -

I think you being scum makes you scum. When you said "us" even in the context you used it, it sounded as if it was the scum point of view. What do I need to have an opinion on my own quietness? That doesn't even make sense. I did suspect Sigrid slightly for her quietness though never enough to lynch, but now we know that meant nothing anyway. Generally speaking it seems there is usually one scum hiding in quiet group and it's usually someone that is new to the games. No, and you know that's not what I meant. More like, it's not like you to ignore anyone so if you did then it might look scummy. Experianced scum teammates could have reminded you of this. Sure go ahead and look at quiet people. Look at everyone. I've nothing to hide. -

Nobody has asked me anything other than saying i'm quiet. Interesting you say "count the Townie corpses for us", I though your scum team could count for themselves. I really don't have anything useful to add or I would. If I had any night info, I'd pass it on to someone I trusted, but I don't. Now that we see all the dead town I think we really can look back at the past two days and nights for the people pushing these lynches. That's what I'm planning to do, hopefully will have some useful contribution from that. I thought of that in a way like the scum team saying "you are ignoring bob and he might pick up that". -

Day three, all dead so far are town, I'd say we look at the people who have been leading the lynches. My thought exactly, though he doesn't usually do what people tell him to so maybe not. -

I don't really know. Unless we have a role cop or he does find the SK, I don't really see a way for definitive proof. I guess we could watch him every night to make sure he's not the SK or scum killer, but that doesn't seem like a good use of resources. All we can really do is investigate and hope he isn't godfather if he comes up as town, right? -

Cinna heads over to the commotion on the fishing deck. "Nice catch there Purpearl. That will probably come in handy later." Turning to address Mr.Finn. "I don't think any of us brought tarps or tents, do you have any we can borrow?" -
Ragnarök Now Redux - Day Two

I read it the same way actually. It looked ridiculously a lot like an excuse for nailing the final vote. I don't really see what would be the point of doing something like that if he's town. I have a hard time deciding whether the scum would have wanted to place that final vote or not. The reasoning behind it was simple, when I first was catching up with the conversations and voted it looked like time was short so I cast my vote for who I felt (and still feel) is scum. However, after going back through and reading coments I saw that the voting was still so split that if I didn't vote for him there would be no lynch. That's why I switched my vote to someone who was on my suspect list and was able to be lynched, as Namer had no votes on him it made no sense to keep it there for the sake of my own ego or not "looking scummy". I switched my vote knowing full well that these types of comments would be cast toward me for it, but I thought it was the best thing to do at the time. Today's talk seems to be a lot of the same as yesterday's, I don't have an information to offer or new points to make. I guess that's lazy, it's hard working with no contacts though I guess that's my own fault for not being active enough. Wilhalm - Has been acting strange as a lot of others have noticed, though he claims a useful role for us so it seems we are giving him the night prove himself. Now claming a role worries me because if he is a killer he will get one more kill, plus it paints a target on his back if he is not scum. That seems like a good plan for scum to possibly find out who our protector is if they have any sort of watching capability. My vote, as with the first one I placed yesterday, goes to Naemr. I outlined my reasoning yesterday and it has not changed at all. Since the start of the game he has been overly defensive, even the style of posting is more of a defensive style than a discussion style. At the start of this day he was more quiet than I would have expected. In my experience (in life and game) the ones who constantly feel the need to defend are the ones who are feeling guilty, so that's what er...pings me here. Vote: Naemr Sledgehammer (Captain Nemo) I think there was some talk of maybe she wouldn't have to be modkilled if power didn't go out? Though from what I've heard of the area, if it is where I think it is, there is a high chance the power is out due to some major ice storms. -

No, as you can plainly see, I am in here right now. I'm trying to catch up. You know that storm Sigrid (Sisco) had? I think I'm about an hour north of him because it sounds like the same storm that took us last night. I'll be in here reading a bit then post my actual findings/thoughts/vote/etc -

Cinna looks down at the barbarian, shaking her head sadly. "He'll learn eventually, I suppose, we all do.", she look back to the sheep. "I can't blame you, really." Heading back to check on the rest of the team, she glances over at the werecrocodile. "I think the merchandise is damaging us, but we'll be more careful next time." -

Cinna looks up at Baradock and chuckles lightly. "No, not really. Animals just need a soft tone and gentle touch to calm down. People are often the same way, but we tend to let our anger overcome better judgement." She glances at the werecrocodile and then back at Baradok. "I've been through a lot in my time with Heroica. Endured a lot of pain, caused too much pain, and some things can never be repaired. I've had time to reflect and spoken with some trusted comrades, and have realized that all of our actions must be considered deeply before committing ourselves to them. Even something we think is small can affect our whole world in ways we never intended." -

Strange...I don't see his initial post as comic sans but when I quote your post there is a comic sans font tag around Mursi's post. No idea if Sigrid is scum or not, she hasn't said anything really. I have to agree with others from yesterday that if we'd have lynched her we would have no more data to look back to at all. As sad as it is to have so many of us dead today, I do think that the lynch of Petr will give us the most info to go by. Now is the time for some serious analysis of yesterday and I think we will find a scum slip-up in there. Naemr is still under suspicion to me, though the mislynch of Petr does make me reconsider my thought processes from yesterday. -
I saw most of Ender's Game on Sunday (I didn't walk out, projector broke). I have to say, I was extremely disapointed in the movie as a whole. Visuals were excellent, CGI was excellent, but the way they handled the conversion from book to movie makes me intensely sad. I doubt anyone who hasnt read the book would even "get" what's really happening. As a matter of fact I went with someone who hadn't read the book and the comment made was "I didn't really get what was going on"

Not letting the werecrocodile fuss her, as she's use to the way "sailors" treat heros, she waits for him to get past the group before addressng the gnome. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Finn. Susanna is a fine ship and we would be honored to be allowed aboard for her maiden voyage. As members of Heroica, we off our services during the voyage to protect your ship, crew, and cargo if anything should come to threaten them." Cinna glances at her team to guage any type of dissent with this course before continuing. "I can assure you that we won't be dead weight, as a matter of fact we would rather not be any kind of dead." She smiles and winks to the gnome. -

Cinna looks over the group gathered at the docks. She hadn't counted on being the party leader again and tried not to look nervous in front of these new recruits. Unsure if she is sad or relieved at not knowing any of her current teammates, she feels a bit of panic setting in deep in her belly but burries it where it can't hurt anyone. She checks her pack to make sure all her items are in order before approaching the group. Working up a smile, she greets them all. "Hello, I don't beleive I've met any of you before. I'm Cinna."
