  1. Ah, thanks for getting back to me, 23 hours later. I think all kills can definitely help us with clues, not just a scum night kill but even lynches. I still feel like saying "ok, I'll just vote for myself" as a statement being worthless and it seems scummy to me. No matter if your intentions are righteous or not on that matter, it doesn't change the way it looks in my eyes. I also don't feel like Data made the right choice in actually voting for himself, but that's over now and the last 3 hours of the previous day were completely nuts so I'm sure it seemed like a good idea to him at the time. I agree with you in Worf over Wesley, but I'm still unsure about Deanna as she could definitely handle something like this even if it did driver her somewhat insane. I really don't feel strongly enough about any of those three to move my vote though. I might not be here for the last hour or two of the day, it completely depends on cell reception where I'm headed after work. I will do my best to check in and answer questions though.
  2. Amazing work on this, all the details are just perfect.
  3. Ah well, some things make more sense then. Isn't it the worst? Maybe I'm old, but I don't like mafia on phones ha.
  4. I don't understand what you are asking here. What route do Picard and I not want to go down? Is it like the tunnel of love or something? I want to understand what I'm reading or not reading. I think I've been pretty clear about why I'm not on board with the Wesley train and agreement I have with you about Worf. To me it really seems like there are only two options left and that'd be Picard and Deanna, but I can't peg anything about you that appears non-normal/overly-scummy other than the normal mistrust you previously mentioned about yourself due to historical reference. This makes no sense at all, it didn't make sense when Data did it and it doesn't make sense now. A town loss is a town loss, no matter if by scum or lynch kills us. We are so close to the end now that every loss is a major blow. When someone writes something like this it looks very scummy - as in "I'm so townie I'll vote myself, just like that other guy did (so have a heart and don't lynch me)". There's just no point in it at all. Your whole exercise in who the scum would kill if they killed seems like something to look helpful but how helpful is it really? So you're guessing why someone might get scum killed but none of it makes any difference - I don't really think the scum would care who was dead as long as it was a townie. I dunno, I've been called an idiot and lousy player before so maybe I just can't wrap my thick head around something like that. I don't have any idea if you are posting from a phone which would explain it but man, quoting a huge wall of text but not actually addressing anything in it, while double-posting, is annoying
  5. This is false, don't make over-reaching judgements based on what you personally see in your town or are guessing at - for all we know. Playmobile and the other toys mentioned are indeed sold in stores including Target. Maybe not in your town or maybe you have just not seen them on the shelves but let's not mistake perspective for facts. ------ Everyone, there's really no reason for any personal attacks here, just a note to keep that in mind as the topic seems to be going rather downward.
  6. I call for a rule, no mafia on weekends Honestly though, where is the Computer today? As far as all the talking and voting, I am really surprised that people are still gunning for Wesley. I don't agree at all with his assment of Word, but the thing that really stands out to me is there's no way he would do so much defence of Beverly if they were on the same team. The only way I could see it happening is if they didn't know they were teammates but I didn't see anything about that in the rules. The rules said only scum can PM, which I assume means they know who each other are. I really feel like Deanna, you have tunnle vision on this issue and will not rest until Wes is proven town. I think Worf isn't defending himself as has been suggested simply because he doesn't feel a need? The accusations don't really make sense and feel rushed to me. I'm not seeing anything changed in the Picard situation other than more posting and different style, as would be expected with a new puppetmaster. My suspicion is still there and I see no reason to move it based on what's happened so far today. Vote: Picard (Lind)
  7. I'm sorry I missed that craziness at the end of the day. I am surprised that Data was town based on all play yesterday ad previous days except for that last hour. I don't know if voting for himself was the right move but i guess "death" is really the only way have to prove ourselves in Q's rediculous game. To answer one of Deanna's questions in the last moments of yesterday, I can't speak for everyone else but I voted to extend the day in the hope that the silent folks still voting on Wesley would have a chance to discuss/read/come to some better conclusion. I guess they finally did revote but it was still for another townie, so it wasn't all that useful in the end. Unless we really can recover from this by looking closely at what he said. As for Wesley's current vote, I'm going to have to look back at all the other days because that was not a person on my radar at all. Deanna could be right and maybe we get blinded by who people are and don't want to consider them.
  8. it's a cursed game I mean, come on people! Join the fun.
  9. I think we still have more than 24 hours as we have the 4 votes required to extend the day. Haven't heard from the computer all day though, so I'm just going by my own math which should be verified because adding is hard. I wasn't being sarcastic, I really do mess up addition too often.
  10. I don't know, it seems like Wesley has answered all the questions. Multiple times perhaps? You seem to be the one pushing for his lynch here and the other votes just seem to be voting for whoever you vote for. I'm not seeing a whole lot of actual suspicions being put forth to support their votes anyway. Once you make up your mind to gun for someone they are through though, there doesn't seem to be anything that can dissuade you. I speak from recent experience here myself though. It's really a day 1 thing that makes me think the connection of Wesley and Beverly both being scum is just impossible. Why would Wes defend Bev even with that awful scummy post when it was pretty apparent that Bev was getting lynched? It would be the worst scum move ever and not something I'd expect from someone as experienced as Wesley. I suppose, in a paranoid state, a person could make a WIFOM reasoning for it, but that is really stretching things. I think the worst case scenario is that we don't have enough time to figure this out and hand a kill to the scum, so I'll Vote: Extend the day
  11. Well this is unexpected and unnerving. I was hoping to count this as my shortest and all-time least stress game ever! I just want to get back to the pretty ladies and tempting fruits. To be honest with y'all, I'm feeling extremely uneasy about this early morning bandwagon against Wesley. Yesterday I would have said yes, if Geordie is town then let's heed his words and look at Wes, but man looking at these votes and the reply from Wesley in regard to the votes... I just don't see scum here. It's true, I'd say you're about 25.984% to me at the moment. It's a really strange time though, for me dropping in so late and I've never had a no-PMs/no-actions style situation. At least all the words are out here in the open which is a nice change of pace from secret backstabbing non-block messages I've seen in the past....but I digress. Ah yes, this explains a lot This exactly this! The bandwagon voting and the non-talking is really adding up to put Picard as the top suspicion on my list at the moment. There was the overreaction to what Deanna said..insinuated...I'm not even sure because it seemed so paranoid to even react to. Another thing was at the start of the first day where he jumped up real fast to say that there's no way Q would pick him because he's the captain. So two early and unjustified defenses followed by silence and stealth. So I said there was a list to be on top of, it's a short list though. My Number 2 is Data. There's simply been nothing of substance, just one liners, double posting, and jokes. Jumped early on the bandwagon today too. Vote: Captain Picard (Kristel)
  12. Alright, I think I've caught up on all the logs. Wow, how did all this arguing not wake me up? There are some seriously long speeches going on, I think Deanna could be her own full crew but they'd always be arguing. Since I got my beauty sleep, I've been able to look at everything from a fresh perspective and though i do see why there are so many accusations against Wesley, I feel like everyone is getting too embroiled in it all and are going off track. I really don't see him as being one of Q's scum, the thought processes seem perfectly rational and thought out to me. I see Deanna was hitting at him because he missed or misunderstood the scum night kill - but that seems understandable since the computer only mentioned it once in the middle of day 1 and never updated the rules. tsk tsk, computer. What's a lot more damning in my eyes is Geordie and all of his pushing to lynch me while i was sleeping while at the same time saying that I'm a worthless townie for not showing up (not a direct quote, that's below this statement). There aren't very many of us here and a loss is a loss, none of are worthless. Then when nobody was biting at the bait, you finally went in to put the last vote in on Bev. It's almost as transparent as her uncalled-for random multi-quoting defense before she was even being fully accused of anything Yes, this exactly, you read my mind. It's all very suspicious and added up with all the other strange pre-defenses like the quote below. At the risk of causing an OMGUS shitstorm, I'll vote: Geordie LaForge (KotZ)
  13. I know, I know, just the insufferable gloominess of not being human. You know, your brother was a lot more fun.
  14. Strutting onto the bridge, stretches and yawns. "What did I miss? Are we at Risa yet?" Looking around at all the angry faces. "Oh, seems like something's going on. That was quite a party, I don't even remember going to my quarters. I'm going to need a bit of time to review logs." (please give me two hours to get to work and catch up things)
  15. You are my hero, I've been trying to compile all of this in my mind and failing.
  16. Even better, a third party who's win condition is "zero lynches all game"
  17. The game well thought out and hosted, great comics and sets Awesome job, Hinckley.
  18. He failed the first one, the second time it was funded. He claims he's sent out 30 kits but only 1 person has ever backed that up (a reviewer that probably got a hand built prototype kit). He constantly posts on KS that he is building and shipping but there's never been any proof of this. It's angering, but that's the risk a person takes on Kickstarter and it's in the ToS there. Anyone buying the set off the guy's website is failing to do their own research and is setting themselves up to be scammed. I know quite a few people that backed the KS and they're angry of course, but have basically written it off as a loss because that's what an investment is and backing a KS campaign is an investment, a risk. I've been waiting...I think it's going on 3 years now...it's just not happening. I have to say that joining Eurobricks just to post this thread is dubious at best.
  19. Oh, I only have fragments of memory so I'll believe you. THIS TIME.
  20. Promises before day one, now i'm suspicious! Vote: Host (Hinckley)
  21. 1. yes 2. sealab 2020 3. i'm fairly certain i know what there used four 4. i might regret this 5. why isn't anyone stopping me @Quarryman
  22. That didn't work last time it was tried, if I remember right - which I might not.
  23. I take it as a compliment that town-hinck doesn't trust me
  24. Well I guess I owe you an apology @Hinckley but I know I wasn't the only one thinking it. Jimmy seemed positive you were town though, so loyal :) I'm also floored that there really was only one scum. Good job staying alive so long @fhomess
  25. No it was not. Just one scum in this game would be pretty unfair setup, it's not a team with just one person. Come to think of it, this is the scummiest thing you've said all game.
