  1. Here's my underwater avatar, swimmin with da fishes.
  2. Cinna sighs again and looks from the sword to the two Heroes. "The only reason I didn't throw it in the water was to prevent some poor soul from cutting himself on it." She picks up the disgraceful sword and hands it to Thormanil. "Here you go, I hope your family appreciates all my hard work to dig it up.", she gives him a wink as she finished that sentence. Turning to Henry, her expression more thoughtful now. "That's a good question. Obviously a lot of the damage was caused by the sea, but what foul beastly fight could have caused that bending? Even more of a concern is how did it end up buried at the edge of Eubric's beach? Perhaps it really is a relic from the great war."
  3. Cinna walks into the Hall and checks the quest board. Finding it void of quests, her shoulders slump and she heads up to the tavern for a glass of wine. After her order appears, she heads downstairs and sits on a soft chair by the fire. She looks over at the Hero sitting next to her and starts up a conversation. "Sure will be nice when some more jobs are posted, eh?" She continues talking, not waiting for an answer. "I was so excited today when I headed down to the beach, I saw a little mound of sand and decided I would dig up whatever was underneath. I ran down to the mound and started digging." "After digging through the sand and mud, I found something. It wasn't what I was hoping for though." "What am I going to do with this beat-up sword!!?!?!?!" Cinna slumps back in her chair with a bit of worn-out, if not defeated, look on her face.
  4. Everything in Sandy's post sounds just like me. I am trying to get at least one of each torso and multiples of some, currently I have 688 unique torso designs logged. I also try to get at least one of each hair but sadly I am not doing as well in that department. I love printed legs and skirts and also like new heads to spice up mocing. I don't do armies at all. For collectable figures I do get as many as I can, there are so mannun ice new accessories that won't otherwise be available. I really don't want to miss out on these items . I do keep one complete set of each sears separate from my parts collection, but not sure if that will last
  5. I used the Magic Eraser to get the print off a microfig when the first game with a yellow figure came out last year. It worked really well and best of all no chemicals.
  6. Love it. One of my favorite backgrounds
  7. I love the look of the bandolier. Can't wait to see it for real!
  8. Brass polish or Mr Clean Magic Eraser
  9. If you are thinking of a general city backdrop, this item is great to use
  10. Actually there are 54 parts in the polybag.
  11. sounds great. I wish my mom had had a resource like this when I was a kid. Maybe I'll see you in one of the Chicago area Lego stores one of these days. :)
  12. +1 RubeusHagrid +1 ZCerberus
  13. From Ninjago ice dragon http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=64867
  14. Right now on iPad I'm playing: angry birds rio & back to the future episode 1
  15. Thank you. Thank you. The base was actually a segment from another moc that was modular (80x80 studs) for easier transport, I thought I would save some time and reuse it, which was probably the biggest mistake with this moc. I do plan on doing more with my fabunic figures, but need to work only large-scale building skills before building/showing anything major.
  16. I would love to be a student or instructor ( not sure if my non- brick stop motions would qualify me to instruct yet). I can pm a link to the few videos I have online.
  17. Since it was on sale on amazon and has cool figs and parts, picked this up today 7962 - Anakin's & Sebulba's Podracers
  18. Thanks :) Thanks. I agree about the base, after I started looking at the photos I realized how distracting it is. I was going to add a finish edging but somehow forgot. I will keep this in mind for my next project. It does give an incomplete look to the whole thing I think.
  19. Great concep, great execution. Hilarious! Thanks, glad it made you chuckle :) TazManiac - excellent work as I said in your thread :)
  20. It died when some major players left. Apparently the new big site for brick film is bricksinmotion. I have not joined the new site yet.
  21. Yes I called customer service a couple months ago and asked about a part. The rep said they don't make it in the color I wanted anymore, and doublechecked the computer - then he said I should go to Bricklink where he just bought the same part a couple weeks previous I can't remember the email now but I even had an email from TLG where they recommended going to Bricklink for out-of-production parts.
  22. This is great. The build looks solid like a person could really play with it, wonderful. Good detailing with the little white fences, that will be sure to catch his gun if he drops in the roof Now I feel bad that sold all my "useless" giant tires.
  23. Excellent job. Not only a great vignette and a superb photo, but a clever way to store some other minifigs in the stands (if you were to leave it built and put on a shelf of course). Everything about this is wonderful, wouldn't it be nice if TLG gave us a blue boxer in S6?
  24. Ok this idea came to me when I figured out I could put Fabuland heads on Technic figure bodies - I had to do a fireman! I'm not so experienced building in such large scale but I hope you all find something you can like about this. *I may update this post with better photos if I can manage to get a big softbox set up without blowing away Constructive C&C is appreciated.
  25. I for one think they are great and the library with the shelves and the flying books is really fun to look at!
