Of course you don't have to say anything but this caught me off-guard and confused. How can I become a character class that has 50 health at level 2?!?! That is one beefy guy...oh maybe it was armor. Also sometimes I miss things so if I did, please forgive. Goes back to her measly 11 health mage-ness.

Cinna will attack Hired Crossbowman from the back row with darkness.

I think we are all upset that our dear friend is gone. Well maybe not the person or persons who did him in. He was always so meticulous with his gear, I must think that someone who did this must know a lot about him and his schedule. Maybe even someone so close that they could fool him into thinking everything was fine even if it was broken. We are all in danger until we root out these murderers amongst us.

Watching the stranger walk away, Cinna stares in silent disbeleif of what he has just told them. She looks back down to De'kra and speaks to him, not knowing if he can hear her or not. "I don't know how that darkness can be a piece of your body De'kra, but I hope you come back to us soon and are not so much afraid."

"Oh thank goodness Tomas. This stranger walked up and De'kra collapsed here in the street. Can you tell what is wrong with him? Has he been attacked? I saw no weapons and have not been attacked myself." Cinna reaches out to stop the stranger. "Stop! What are doing to him!", but she is too late to stop the darkness. "What have you done?"

Having been but a few steps away at all times, Cinna sees De'kra collapse as the stranger approaches. She rushes to his side to help him (and make sure he isn't pickpocketed). Kneeling beside him, she looks up at the stranger with anger. "What have you done to him? De'kra is not well and now he has passed out. Who are you? What do you want with him?" She looks around to see if Tomas is nearby.

"Thank you Tomas." Cinna hands Tomas her 5 gold needed to get a bedroll.

Cinna will stay with De'kra in the hope that she can stop any trouble. "I think I'll stay with our confused friend. The city seems to be making things worse in his mind. If I give you the gold required, would someone do me the favor of picking up a bedroll from the marketplace?"

"I would like tosearch around the tree where we saw the pack. Looking especially for track/drag marks or signs of a struggle. "

Noticing what seems like fear from De'kra but having no idea how to help, Cinna makes sure to not make any sudden movements he might interpret as hostile. She keeps her mind working on ways to help him remember that they are all comrades.

What about in the case where a player is trying to get across the fact that the character is not a good English speaker? I know this doesn't account for all issues (especially spelling), but might account for in-character grammar mistakes. Would that be alright?

Cinna goes to aid her friends after recovering from her wounds. "De'kra, please try to be calm. You know us. You know me, I am Cinna. We spoke a few days ago about magic. My family is born with magical abilities, but take many years to train and learn to control our power. You said your villagers sometimes can get power and become a hero, they must train with others that are already heroes, they must learn the three virtues to be kind and good. Do you remember?" Cinna does a small bit of magic, nothing too noisy. She produces a smiling face in the darkened sky, in the hopes that De'kra will remember they are not enemies. When De'kra looks up, she gives a kurt glance to Tomas and his blade to say 'wanna put that away? he is frightened', hoping that Tomas and the others will understand without her having to speak it. ooc:sorry for being slow guys, been a very busy night.

"Finally!" Cinna pants, the wind knocked out of her and blood dripping from her wounds. "I should have just used Darkness on him even when he seemed ready to collapse. I wish I had a smaller tonic, I hate to use my Grand Tonic right now. I think I will hold off a bit longer before drinking it." ooc: this battle reminds me of the "only a flesh wound" from Monte Python.

An excellent temple. I can't really add anything to the discussion - colors and design are perfect. I can almost hear the quiet tapping of a new devote walking in the halls.

Yeah that's all very true. Maybe just pin the library?

I think it would be very useful at this point to have a Heroica Index pinned at the top of this forum.
