Darkdragon replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
"It's actually in my leg." -
Congrats on getting the first installment finished, always a great step! I hope you get a lot of attention. Note: your signature image is missing/broken - if you need help fixing it let me know. Note: you duplicated this post in the forum welcome post, I removed the duplicate. Just one topic or post per subject is the way to go

I sure wish that wasn't AUS only.

Has the LEGO group released too much 18+ sets this year?
Darkdragon replied to JintaiZ's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yes, that's the problem. You can't look at the situation from anyone else's perspective it's just your perspective. Therefore you want more teen targeted sets because you are a teen and when you are 25 you will want more adult targeted sets. That's simply not the way things work Unlike many other toy companies, LEGO does a great job at serving all ages 0-99 and making products that appeal to wide variety of interests. It's a great thing! It's nice to be able to find a gift for almost anyone in the offerings. -
Has the LEGO group released too much 18+ sets this year?
Darkdragon replied to JintaiZ's topic in General LEGO Discussion
wrong. Definitely nothing wrong with all the sets for adults, all the sets for teens, all the sets for kids. It's all parts to me anyway. Many of the adult-marketed sets have the lowest PPP of anything on the market other than the boxes of parts. Yes, there are a lot of high dollar sets this year and that's frustrating in the current climate especially but to say that there's a problem with it is just short sighted. New parts, new colors, new themes, all sorts of fun things. You show your selfishness and one-sided views with this sort of statement. -
Mystery on the Excelsior - Chapter Two
Darkdragon replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
"Oh dear, what a mess. Is anyone else hurt? I was working on a new lecture and when the jolt sent me tumbling, I stabbed my pencil into my leg. It doesn't seem too bad I suppose. Gabriella are your ribs alright? Maybe you should have the doctor look at them." I walk over to the doctor. "Doctor, are you alright? Do you have any small bandages? I couldn't find anything in the mess of my cabin." I show him the small puncture wound on my leg. A narrow trickle of blood runs from it but I quickly wipe it away, wincing only slightly. The lead from the pencil appears to be embedded in the wound but overall it's not too bad. -
Mystery on the Excelsior - Chapter One
Darkdragon replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Turning from the bar with a daiquiri, she bumps right into Ezra while he is fleeing Gabriella's terrifying and unending line of questioning. "Oh, pardon me, sir. Is everything alright? I hope I didn't spill anything on you. Oh! My little umbrella." She picks up her little umbrella from where it landed on Ezra's shoe. Wiping a bit of daiquiri off the shoe with the napkin she was holding. "I'm really sorry about that, I hope it won't damage your shoes. Those aren't real leather are they?" -

Sorry I'm late, this ship is so large I got a bit lost. I'm glad to be here and excited to meet everyone. I've never been on a ship this size before, and captained by a lady to boot! How exciting! -
can I create a interactive lego comic?
Darkdragon replied to ice cube productions's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Well if you make a MOC, just post a moc topic in the castle forum. At the end of the topic talk a bit about your comic and put in a link to your comic in this forum -

can I create a interactive lego comic?
Darkdragon replied to ice cube productions's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
You are welcome to do that here. It would be awesome to see something like that take off - my suggestion is that if you build any MOC for your comic photos, post a moc topic in the castle forum and include a blurb and link to your comic here. -
Selling instructions for MOCs - clarity
Darkdragon replied to MAB's topic in Forum Information and Help
That's already what MAB is saying. They are providing a link in the moc post to a rebrickable purchase area. There's nothing wrong with doing it that way. -
Selling instructions for MOCs - clarity
Darkdragon replied to MAB's topic in Forum Information and Help
I really don't see any point in making a rule about something like that. If they say the instructions are available, they are available. If it's free or paid, there's no point in forcing specific wording or forcing users to put the post in another forum section for it. If, however, users are doing this to get around the B/S/T rules, please report the post. -
Mystery on the Excelsior - Sign Ups!
Darkdragon replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I have some extras that I was going to trade at Brickworld, le me know what you want. Seriously, it was cheaper in bulk so... -
The scum were very obvious by day three. I think there was way too much focus by the players (probably scum lead) on mechanics and that did cause a lot of town mistakes or missed glaring scum tells. There were too many scum, but that really only matters when the town is actually finding them. If it came down to 2:1:1 then it would be more of an issue I think.

I am in. Please. -
The one I called Bloodrayne is quite expensive. I only have two myself. I never thought my baby dragon mafia would go this far. Hey Bricklink, where is my commission?? I am glad you liked the babies enough to integrate them and the roleplay awards. I'm glad even an unbalanced game can be a fun game, Eurobricks mafia at its best!

The Eurobricks Flower Show: Winners!
Darkdragon replied to Peppermint_M's topic in General LEGO Discussion
CONGRATS to all the winners! Amazing work! It was really fun to see all the flower setups from forum sections all around Eurobricks. So many great creations. They got frontpaged because they were impressive enough to a staffer to feature, I'd say it helped the contest as a whole and didn't cause them to win because of the frontpaging. There's no need to cheapen the win with sour grapes like this. The people voted, they were able to see all entries before they voted. It was all perfectly fair and equitable. Wow, come to just complain and not even congratulate the winners. There was a forum wide announcement available the whole time and the frontpage and entries from within most active forum sections. It seems that the contest was known about, there's no reason to flood the forum with spam about it. If people were interested and able to enter they entered, it's as simple as that. -

Please, this shouldn't become another sorting discussion thread. If we can't stay on topic it will have to be locked.

You didn't say free but others have. Other than listening to music or a book on tape, I don't know how sorting can be done while doing something else unless you have more hands than I do - note: i have two hands. What folks seem to be talking about here is not "sorting" but automation and that's a completely different ball of wax. Parts automation isn't even done at LEGO for PAB/B&P so I don't know why anyone would even consider a small home machine could ever do it. The original question was so simple and everyone seems to be twisting it into madness already.
