My 2nd attempt on Strain Wave for me. Did some modifications to the original module. added a 2nd XL motor modified drivetrain stiffer frame (lbg part) better ball pickup higher walls in ball drop area Removed 3x 20T gears. As this configuration generates so much friction itself that its really hard for the motor to move.

My version of Jerome Christen's Pass Circle module. From the instructions the module is not stable enough to move it around nor ready for transport to a convention. I stiffen the frame, added a 7th am on the back that carries a ball all the time, made a new motor mount and did some other design changes.- 1,124 replies

[GBC] Egg Process Machine
dunes replied to RohanBeckett's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Had to rework my Egg Process Machine module after its first time be part in a loop. Had some issues with the gearing to the conveyor. And I took the opportunity to work on the design too. Has now a cleaner look. -
[GBC] Tilt-Shift
dunes replied to Great Ball Pit's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Here is my version of this module. Main difference is the use of slopes instead of flags. It's much more reliable in level up the ball. And a proper output ramp to make it easier for the next module to receive the balls. -
[GBC] Turntable Cup to Cup 2.0
dunes replied to Berthil's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Had a GBC loop at Steinhanse 2019 in Germany 2 weeks ago and couldnt get it reliable to run. tables where leveled. Took it out of the loop after 3 hours. Before at home I had no problems with it. Mostly dropped balls at 5th and 6th cup. the basket mount fell of after 10-15 mins . and sometimes the ball pickup was a problem. Today I sat down and fixed the problems. 1. Ball pickup: Added 2 cheese corners 2. Arm mount: Replaced 4L axle wth stop to 5L with stop and added a 13L beam. Its now stronger and less wiggle. 3. New Basket mount: Ran now for over 2 hours without dropping any ball. And looking forward to run it at the next event. -
