  1. What if I tell you heavy equipment is now the soul of city instead while cars become the new soul for technic...
  2. I think there is some degree of truth in the speculation that this thing was originally designed as another C+ set, but all C+ components except L motor and the simple hub were phased out. Speaking of which, this set could be the stock clearance for those two parts, if PU and C+ are coming to an end. If PU still continues, then these two parts are the only parts that should stay. TLG may return to the pre 2019 direction in which motorized sets use motorized functions with normal gearbox. Not everything can and should be made RC.
  3. This single piece is the reason I couldnt design my MB Zetros in yellow, even when there's a yellow 6L tow ball link newly available.
  4. I guess my Terra Trac qualifies for this thread as well.
  5. Can you create the part for the Bronco tire as well
  6. Small size fender flare as well. This finally allows me to do a proper Mini Ford Raptor.
  7. Didn't expect to see a drifting function in Lego Technic but apparently it's a real thing for this set.
  8. Manual Gearbox yayyy! Rejoice! No more of that Control+ nonsense!!
  9. It is indeed Claas Xerion on Terra Tracs!
  10. Thanks a lot Paul! They have the same steering angle. It's just that the front fender also steers, while the rear fender is fixed. The real machine is designed like that.
  11. DEVELOPMENT Everyone loves Claas Xerion, and I love Claas Xerion. The first one was released in 2016, and the next one was released 2021, but since then there hasn't been any new Claas Xerion. So I wanted to create a Claax Xerion. In summer 2023 I created a Mini Claas Xerion, and thanks to the spur 24z gear in red that was introduced in the Yamaha bike in the same year, I wanted to do the track version as well. However that part was not widely available back then. It was not until last year when the 42177 G 5000 and 42172 McLaren that the piece becomes more popular. It is also fitting that the Terra Trac was named Tractor of The Year for 2024, so it's only fitting that I started working on that model. Since this model is based on the Mini 42054, I just reused the base of that MOC and made some modification. The first major modification is the bogie track. It took me quite some tries to get it correctly. The second part is the hood. I'm very proud of how it turns out in the end. Here's a comparison with the real machine. FUNCTIONS This variation doesn't have rotating cab so there are only 3 main functions: openable hood, HOG steering, and rear equipment lift. From what I have learned, the real machine has 3 steering mode too, so I keep that function from the Mini 42054. The steering mode switch is easier to use in this model because there's no rotating cab which can block the selector axle. INSTRUCTION https://reb.li/m/219585
