While I don't have more pictures, my camera is not too bad and I might be able to focus in on particular areas in a lot more detail if a few people are interested in specific areas of the design. While I'll check to see if the resolution is powerful enough to peer inside the castle, I don't recall there being an interior. My personal favourite is the cave underneath where there is an escape in progress. David

I came across this fantastic store display for the new (2007) castle sets in a huge German department store located beside Alexanderplatz train station. I haven't seen this posted before but if it has the thread can be locked. Enjoy David http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dfenz/Ca...in/img_1672.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dfenz/Ca...in/img_1673.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dfenz/Ca...in/img_1674.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Dfenz/Ca...in/img_1675.jpg PS the skeletons are on a moving track that has them marching over the bridge into the castle !!

Some LEGO furniture at 10% of the normal price!
Dfenz replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
The table and storage chest are still available at LS@H Europe as I type. When I ordered 12 green storage racks (not all for me!) they were available earlier tonight but immediately after placing the order I noted they'd sold out so I'm not sure if I'll get some or all of them. The stool has also sold out since. David PS thanks for the heads up on this site re the sale !! -
Any Irish Star Wars fans out there will be interested to hear that Smyths Irish stores have plenty of Clone Trooper and Droid battlepacks reduced to

I think this is a mistake and would get on to Lego if I were you. LS@H is still advertising the set as being in its First Run so I believe you should have got a certificate number. On another website I read somewhere that someone received a set without a certificate and Lego supplied it later when contacted. If the first run has finished then I think this should be highlighted in a separate thread to alert people but first check with Lego to confirm this regards David

World-wide - Lego SAH Train Sale - 50% Off...
Dfenz replied to 6stud's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Hence the importance of keeping an eye out for posts in this thread as its not the first time large reductions have appeared on sets that have not been listed on the sales and deals page. However, if you ring Lego customer service they may be able to add the Hobby Train to your order. They can sometimes do this if the order hasn't processed far in their system. I've added to online orders over the phone in the past by ringing LS@H the next day after I've forgotten to order something. Not sure if its different for the US distribution centre. David -
Took advantage of the half price sale on LS@H Europe to buy the hobby train (x2) and Christmas train. I also added a UCS Imperial Star Destoyer - I've one built but convinced myself I needed to add a second bley version to the fleet (of MIB). Oh and to top it all I secumbed again to the charm of two more sets of those lovely egg cups. David PS as a complete aside I saw a Jackie Chan movie last night with English subtitles called New Police Story. The finale of the movie was in a Lego Store - wierd!!!

You should consider yourself lucky. While it was available on LS@H France for

The guy takes euro or US dollars in addition to Hungarian currency. Paypal is usually the most convenient method of payment for international orders although it costs more in some instances. For example it looks like this seller charges an additional 5% for paypal payments. As always you will need to build in the shipping, handling, and paypal fees to the net price to establish whether you are getting a good deal. I've used this Bricklink shop without incident. David

Mine was 4701 Sorting Hat. In fact this was the beginning of a very slippery slope because up until then I had insisted on only purchasing more traditional lego with real blocks and plates on the basis that the fancy new sets would be useless once you tired of the theme. As it happens I went on to acquire the entire HP theme before shifting to Star Wars and doing likewise. Of course I was right in that the themed sets have stayed assembled, especially the HP sets as they all linked together beautifully to create a large Hogworths campus and environs. If I ever get my hands on the designer of that little set ..... !!! David

I think you are too late. There already is such a registry http://www.ngltc.org/sfregistry.htm Would this be you or have we another duplicate entry? A00027 Brendan Walsh - Munster Ireland David ;-)

Touch wood I've not had too many problems with missing parts although the poor packaging does damage instruction manuals and sticker sheets and I had keyrings fall out of damaged packaging last year. My biggest gripe at the moment is the part substitution such as the mix-up re heads in the Rebel Cruiser and the bley antennas for the Eiffel Tower. If you didn't frequent the online community you wouldn't even know the parts were wrong (until you went to sell it later and an irate purchaser got on your case). I dread opening up my Technic truck as there have been part substitution issues with the wheels in that set - the substituted parts never seem to be better than the original. The only positive point is that Lego customer service is so good that replacements are usually not a problem if the parts are still available. David

OK here's mine and yes the ice cube tray does appear first on the list followed by the coasters!! At least the two egg cups acquired last week are lower down the order. Coincidentally Andy, there are 518 items listed! http://www.brickset.com/lists/collection.aspx?OwnedBy=dfenz David

Just a quick question for anybody that's completed the Eiffel Tower. I'm just building the Eiffel Tower (set 10181) and noticed that I received a bley antenna for the top. The instructions list this part as being of a different colour but I can't make it out. It seems to be transparent and that's what Bricklink lists it as but i noticed in another thread (yes I managed the search button) the following comment, I believe by a member who visited the star wars event in gunzburg a few weeks back "Oh, Yoda, my antenna from my Eiffel tower is just light bley, and not silver! I've called LEGO and they will send me one in the right color!" Can anyone (Yoda?) confirm having received a colour other than Bley in the set? Is it silver/chrome or transparent? I'll need to contact Lego armed with the right info. thanks in advance David
