LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
benderisgreat replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think it's worth it. The ship looks a bit blocky but pretty cool, and the minifigures are the best part of that set. This set is my number 1 purchase on September 4. -

if you've seen sets pics you know that they don't have any spoilers! Didn't we know Han and Chewie are in ep 7? Or maybe we have never seen Rey,Finn and Po Dameron? That THE problem ! Sets contain no spoilers!!! And yet we're no allowed to talk about them, that's s ridiculous. And I know that it's Disney trying to hide everything, but c'mon its too late for that. -

Hasbro catalog containing images of ep 7 toys has been officially released , so why can't Lego do the same? -

I completely agree with you. We live in Internet age, so when some info gets leaked it's impossible to contain it. Set names and prices have been circulating since January! For 8 months TLG knew about that and didn't do anything! And pictures of the sets have been online for 2 weeks now! I understand tha Disney is unpleased with Lego for letting pics leak but it's DONE! They're online and nobody can stop them from spreading across the web. I love Lego and really appreciate all their efforts in making great sets, that's why I buy them every month! But it's just ridiculous that they're trying to stop people from seeing sets before September 4! We're going to spend our hard earned money on their products and we can't even discuss pics and set names here, among fans! If we can't even discuss sets here then where we can? -

Someone on eBay is already selling ep7 sets a he took pictures of back of the boxes(sets 75099,75100, 75101) and I am really impressed by them. It changed my opinion on Rey's speeder and TIE fighter sets, still uncertain about FO Snowspeeder though. Rey's speeder is hollow on the inside so you can use this compartment to store some items which is really sweet! Tie fighter really holds 2 pilots! Finally! Now all that left is to find pictures of back side of the boxes of 75103,75104 and 75105. -

yeah shuttle doesn't look that impressive for me either, but it includes minifig of main bad guy of the movie, so it's going to sell. While I wou like to get Kylo Ren minifig I am going to wait and see if lego is going to release him in another set next year( hopefully with more interesting and cheaper build). -

seriously what's the point? People have already seen photos, and set names and piece count have been circulating online for a while now. They probably had a NDA with Disney , but " damage" is already done. Why not release official pics and get it over with is beyond me. -

if you don't have OT versions of Han, Luke, Ben , Chewie and the rest then definitely get the old one. But I would rather get the new one, since aim excited for Ep 7. -

tbh Millennium Falcon sets have always been priced around 100-150$, so it's price is no surprise for me. Personally while I am interested in new Falcon( specificly Finn, old Han and Chewie) I am going to hold off buying it until I see the movie. Because by that time we will see pics of January sets and they might include some of the same minifigs plus some missing characters like Luke, so it will be possible to get all OT characters from new movie. -

You are probably right about reasoning on minifigs. But from the trailer we see that Rey has bb-8 with her when she rides her speeder bike, so his absence in the sets still bothers me. -

Finally Lego released pics of ep7 sets, and they look great! Was already losing hope of seeing pics of sets before going to store on September 4th. After seeing pics of 75103 First Order troop transporter I an really impressed with what Lego has done with it( it'll be first purchase on my list). And Kylo Ren is great looking figure, lego put much effort in his helmet, and ship( might even buy this set after all). Rey's speeder 75099 is the biggest dissapoint of the whole wave for me( I can understand why Fin isn't included but why no bb-8?). The rest of the sets look pretty good in their own right, but Ian still not sold on Snowspeeder. -

It's good that you are interested in this construction figures, but there is no reason to be rude and disrespectful. Note that I didn't say anything about bionicle . Many people including myself are uninterested in construction figures for many reasons. Everyone has a right to express their opinion and if you don't like mine, well ignore it just like I ignore yours. -

I completely agree with you. This whole idea seems irrelevant especially now that it comes at the same time as highly anticipated Ep7 sets. Nobody is going to buy construction figures , and Lego will have to discontinue them. -
besides 4 ghost lieutenants all other ghost have only 2 different torsos and 2 heads. So Lego just mixes torsos, weapons and heads and gives them different names. So they are pretty much the same.

Lego Ninjago 2016

So why are Ninjago movie sets are showing up now when movie is coming out in 2017? Were these sets made in advance when movie was supposed to come out in 2016? -

It would be nice to have fully ghostified Cole. But I can't see it happen since this ghost wave is over, unless they make a polibag version of him. -

maybe just grey face could work too. But from leaks I am not certain ninja will be wearing full hoods next wave, more likely just lower part of them with hairpieces. -

actually I think his ghost face looks grey, so translucent grey face? Pretty dissapointed Lego didn't made ghostly Cole in this wave. Hope they do it next wave -

yeah I know, but it's number suggests it's going to be retail exclusive and we already have Ezra's speeder bike, so Kanans bike is most likely going to be a recolored version of that set. So am not interested in it. -

So new leak suggest there will be just 5 sets instead of 7, interesting development. Did they decide to push 2 other sets to summer 2016 wave, or they never even existed? But back to the topic of 5 sets. Jays Elmental dragon seems to be same size as Zanes Titanium Dragon earlier in 2015. Also Coles Dragon will probably be imaginary since you can't make good dragon in 100 pieces. Ninja bike sounds pretty generic , we had a lot of Ninjago bikes over the years, including this waves Coles Blaster Bike. But Airship and Black widow Island sounds interesting to me. Zeppelin would probably be pretty small considering its 33€ set. Island seems to fit rumored pirate wave perfectly( probably pirate hideout). Overall this vase seems pretty generic to means not fitting in rumored pirates wave, except for 2 sets. But to be honest it's going to be pretty hard for Lego to create better sets than Ghosts sets this summer. -

Carbon freezing chamber is 25$? Uhh I really don't like idea of such iconic scene being a smal 200+ pieces set. That is unless like some people here said it will be like Jabbas Palace and Rancor pit a few years back( but even then is too small). As for the rest of the sets I am dissapointed that rebels sets are just microfighters. Ep 7 sets seems interesting that there will be building instead of vehicles set. As for the rest of sets, not interested about Obi-Wan's interceptor, since it will probably be repainted Anakins star fighter from 2014. Ep 7 battle packs sound interesting ( FO Stormtroopers and Resistance soldiers) but Battlefront? What will they include Imperial Stormtroopers and Rebel soldiers? Not that excited about this 2 battle packs. -
So out of 2 summer wave sets I purchased (70735 and 70737) I can say Ronins R.e.x. is a must buy. It looks great ,interesting to build and has great minifigures, but Titan mech battle is a bad set. Really lame and repetitive build, mechs are hard to pose because of lack of knee joints, but minifigures make up for uninteresting build. Going to buy 70736 Attack of Morro Dragon soon, it seems that it's a go to set this wave. But overall I have to say this wave of sets is best in Ninjago history in my opinion. Really curious how next wave of sets will turn out to be.
