LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
benderisgreat replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
While I agree with you that we need Saw Gurerra minifigure, I'm not so sure about Galen Erso, since we don't know how big is his role in the movie. He can have 5mins of screen time or 2hours, so it depends on how important his character is in the movies. -

I mean he's like a Daredevil now right? Still kinda ridiculous to show him piloting the ship. I'll have to use Hera minifigure from microfighter as a pilot as she makes more sense. But the set looks like the best of 3 we've seen so far. -

Just noticed blind Kanan's minifigure in Phantoms cockpit: his visor is molded and not printed!? Wow, kudos Lego!!! -

Phantom 2.0 looks smaller than 2009 Separatist Shuttle! No claws as legs, and fin looks smaller, but it's understandable since thus version is supposed to be compatible with 2014 Ghost, right? Love the new cockpit though... Yodas Jedi Interceptor is so weird I'm confused as to what think about it. Duel of Fates looks so underwhelming build-wise! It's so small, to give this scene a right treatment in Lego form it should have been at least 50-60$. The minifigure leg print is not something I worry about as all 3 characters from the set had leg printing in last years sets , and I love that Maul got normal headprint instead of that weird smile from 2015 Sith Infiltrator. -

Good review j2good! But the set itself isn't as interesting as I originally thought. The lack of movability in the walker is very dissapointing considering 2007 version had great movability! The shape of the head is spot on , but bad leg design dissapointed me. I wish Lego combined 2007 versions legs and this new head for AT-ST , that would have made the set a lot better! -

Brickshow posted a video about U-wing set on display , and you can clearly see her torso printing under poncho piece. -

Just found this picture and I'm quite dissapointed! Mech is meh at best and Lola doesn't look as good as it did in video game. Not sure what to expect from Iron Man and Coulson but they will probably look like they did in Lego Marvel Avengers, so it's a worthwhile purchase just for those 2 minifigures.- 5,808 replies

Nice! Phantom 2.0 sounds like a great set, and minifigure selection is great for 30$ , hopefully Kanan is updated to his season 3 outfit. -

Is it really a modified Separatist shuttle instead of 2014 ship? -

It only relates to SW leaks right? Other ips including other licensed products should be safe. -

Bought Rebel Combat Frigate set today and I like it a lot more now that I've built it. The build itself was quite difficult , mainly because of a lot of technic parts, and strangely it took me 2,5 hours to build it compared to 3 hrs it took me to build Milenium Falcon ( which has more pieces). Exterior is quite nice, but interior is horrible! Barely enough space for 4 minifigs, and rather bad representation of ships control room. The minifigures of the sets except Ahsoka are either repeats or plain new additions( Commander Sato), and there's only 4 minifigs + astromech in 110$ set! Lego could have easily included another named character like Zeb or Seventh Sister Inquisitor, or a couple of generic rebel troopers. In 2016 a 110$ set with only 4 minifigs is a huge rip-off, and isn't acceptable . And price per part ratio is off the charts . Overall while this ship looks cool on the shelf it's not worth 110$, Ahsoka is the only reason to buy this set which would sell without her. You'd be better off saving some money and just Bricklinking Ahsoka's minifigure . -

Studshooters are horrible! Yes megaphone pieces were bad too, but they were used when Lego dpwasnt able to make something better for blasters! Studshooters are indeed a new version of megaphone blasters , and that's the problem: studshooters are even worse, since now Lego has blaster molds, but makes awful pieces like that just to add playability . I actually don't mind studshooters as a weapons on a ships or vehicles, for these purposes they are good, but as a blaster for the minifigure, they suck!!! Oh my bad then, sorry. -

Didn't you say that imperial Battlepack has longer rifles? But that's probably preliminary images. But studshooters suck! Pretty much everybody agrees with that, yet Lego still uses studshooters! -

So based on new info about Battlepacks , it seems like standart blasters will replace studshooters? Imperial Battlepack has longer rifles, so it's safe to assume Rebel Battlepack will use standart blasters as well. -

Battlepacks sound awesome, especially Imperial one! Deathtroopers were rumored before , but now it's confirmed! Rebel one is less exciting , but they will probably have those new helmets from September Roguo One sets, so I'll buy a couple of them. What's even more exciting is longer blasters in Imperial Battlepack , does it mean stud shooter won't be used as blasters in Battlepacks anymore? As for iconic ship it's weird it has only one named character, but I can't way to see pictures of this set. -

Rock monsters sound cool , but why do they have purple color? Purple doesn't seem like a rock color, but if they look cool, unrealistic color doesn't matter. It's a shame knights don't get black suits like in the game, though. And more evil Jestro, how's that possible( he's a lame villain , and making him more evil won't change that)? Also no mention of Book of Monsters? It seems Monstrox was indeed The Book itself! -

So snakes are Vermillion, or are they samurai? Descriptions sound cool especially boat , giant snake and blacksmith shop, but kinda hard to imagine the rest of the sets, pictures should clear them up. Probably in a month as they usually come , right? -

Just saw this photo, I'm super excited about new sets! New Fusion suits look awesome , Kai's father was expected , and Vermillion looks very unique , definitely not traditional take on samurai . And blacked out minifigure is the most intriguing, is it a main villain , maybe his final design wasn't done yet? -

Dragon Forge? This names makes more sense compared to Dragon wrought! And it fits description we were given. Now I am super excited for this wave , names give much more info on the sets than the preliminary names. This new wave sound really great! -

Tbh set names are pretty generic, nothing creative, but gives a general idea what to expect from the set. Hope we'll see pictures of these sets soon!- 5,808 replies

The last Tony minifigure was accurate at the time, but not now it's not. Yes it's kinda easy to make this version yourself, but nothing beats official version. And besides Tony is a popular character and will appear in Homecoming, I can't see why Lego won't make his minifigure in the set based on the movie.- 5,808 replies

We did, but that clothes are outdated now, since Tony doesn't have arc reactor on his chest anymore. Plus version of Tony in business suit would be a welcome addition.- 5,808 replies
