LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
benderisgreat replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's just a minor difference tbh. You can only tell them apart if you're nitpicking . Personally I like 2013 version of Yoda and think that he can be used with custom hut on Dagobah. -

OT Uoda looks exactly the same as PT Yoda, just without lighsaber! That minifigure appeared in 2 sets, and 3 is coming next year. -

What's great about new Batcave is that there's room to store other batman suits from Minifigures series, so you can display you favorite Batman minifigures . And Batpack minifigure is just gorgeous! -

Just noticed that Penguin in Batcave set is based on Dany De Vito's character from Batman Returns! -

Wsj report says Mr Freeze mech holds minifigure, but in picture I can't see it. Is it just me or everyone else can't see his minifigure as well? -

Just read WSJ report and I'm surprised that Mr Freeze set is 20$! Looked like 13$ set, but it's so good 20$ is nothing for this set! Batcave is 100$ so good deal, and Arkham is 150$(still weird it gets released in January when the rest of the sets are coming out in November). Is it weird that regular TLBM sets are coming in November, or did TLM sets also came out in November 2013? -

Mr Freeze is definitely great set for 13$ ! Cool build for mech , plus finally red googles head print! Combining this head with next years Juniors Mr Freeze would make good minifig version of him! Batcave looks great to me, especially Penguin(new top hat and umbrella molds) , Alfred and Batpack suit! The build is smaller than last non UCS Barcave , but I like it. Arkham set is mixed bag for me: good build , but dissapointing minifigures. All villains are in orange jumpsuits, so nothing unique about minifigures. I wish they included every villains normal outfits in evidence locker or something like that. So Harley and Barbara are only truly unique minifigures in the set. Plus it's probably 200$ , so not worth a purchase with little amount of unique minifigures. So overall I like the line overall, hopefully the rest of the sets pictures will be released during NYCC. -

That's a really detailed helmet. It seems Lego isn't skimping on new molds for Ninjago sets, which makes sense, considering it's their bestseller. Really curious to see final pictures of Vermillion minifigures to see what they look like! -

After watching many reviews it seems Tie Striker is a really good set. My biggest problem with it is that we don't get any named characters in the set! Another Jyn would be more than welcome in this set. And 70 $ for a good set without any named characters seems too expensive! So while I really like this set , I just can't see myself buying it for 70$. Maybe once it goes on sale... -

Is anybody else dissapointed in Jyn Erso in U-Wing set has unprinted legs? Every other minifigure in the set including generic rebel trooper and pilot have fully printed legs, but main hero of the movie doesn't? Just simple pistol holster would have been great and spot on accurate. -

You are probably right. I noticed that Ground Crew minifigure was shooting at Shoretrooper in Bunker set, so it makes sense that rebel was disguised as Ground Crew. So we will get another Jyn after all! Still strange that Lego included her only in 1 set in first wave, when Rey was in 2 sets in first TFA wave. -
Krennic's shuttle as a great Force Friday purchase!

Really surprised by how awesome Krennic's Shuttle is! Originally I only wanted it for the minifigures but the build itself is great! Love the way Lego made the panels open up to reveal the interior, and 4 seats for Deathtroopers ( they kinda imply you need that Battlepack). The Deathtroopers migh be the most detailed trooper minifigures of all 3 eras: PT,OT, ST; and Krennic's torso is nice, shame his legs are unprinted though. Pao and Bodhi look nice and Pao's second face in hilarious! K-2SO is nice droid (though I wish Lego finally made new arms for their droids). Overall really good set and surprisingly fairly priced. Considering that it's probably the only set Krennic will ever appear in its a must buy. -

Got Krennic shuttle as well, since Deathtroopers are such a great looking minifigures! Now to build this majestic beast! -

So how's 2 highly detailed new Deathtroopers minifigures in cheap battlepack is a poor decision? Shoretroopers are coming out in Skariff set next year, so that's a way to get them, or bricklnk them. And officers minifigures in battlepacks are bad decisions in my opinion as battlepacks are supposed to help build large armies of generic troopers. This years FO battlepack is a great example of Lego screwing up, by including 2 FO engineers instead of just 4 Stormtroopers as fans wanted. So people who bought more than a few of this battlepacks now have equal amounts of engineers and Stormtroopers which is ridiculous! Did anyone wanted to build army of FO engineers? No! So I'm glad that they learned from that mistake and are making army builders battlepacks. -

It's a stand-in for Moroff, the big hairy white alien. Hasbro has already shown his figure. -

Skariff bunker looks good, especially since it has 2 Shoretroopers, new Kassian and another imperial minifigure. It's hard to say something about bunker itself, since the picture is blurry, but it looks like it's just a front entrance. Luke's Landspeeder is almost identical to the version from Cantina set in 2014, Luke and Obi-Wan are identical to previous versions, as are C-3PO and Tusken. Overall a really good set for me , since I don't have Ep 4 Luke yet. The real surprise is new Desert Skiff, Han already uses new hairpiece! But it's more than just this, the build itself looks bigger and better than the last one! The front apparently uses big ship piece and it looks really nice. Also since this set is in normal catalog, does it mean it's not a retail exclusive? Y-Wing is kinda meh to me. Never liked this ships in-univers, so Lego set based on it doesn't really interest me, but minifigures look good, so maybe once it goes on sale, I'll consider buying it. -

Even if he has blue hair it's an easy fix as his hair is fairly common. -

Finally found pictures of Dragon Forge set, looks nice! Although at first dragon with 2 heads and 2 color schemes looks odd, it looks awesome after a while. Hard to say anything about blacksmith shop as only outside is visible, but the inside is probably pretty detailed. As for minifigures it's great that Lego included the whole Smith family in this set, but Vermillion lacks their leader( earlier leaks of the box showed different Vermillion) , and snake-like mech looks intriguing. Overall looks like we have another great year for Ninjago coming our way! -

Quick question: does anybody else thinks that we lost a chance to get Seventh Sister minifigure? 75158 Rebel Combat Frigate would have been a perfect set to include her in. And now we're getting Rebels Season 3 based sets and she had no logical set to appear in. -
