I know, I just noticed that Samurai X symbol is also on new samurai minifigure. Since this wave takes place in the past, maybe Nya's original Samurai X symbol was based on this guys.

Great minifigures for Ninjago 2017! Love new armor on first minifigure, the other 2 are also highly detailed, but why do they use snake headpiece? Lego Ninjago crew must love snakes, since they constantly release new ones. And Samurai looks really nice, he could pass as Marvels character Ronin with few modifications. Ps is it Nya's symbol on Samurai minifigure?

Mr Freeze is a minifigure in a mech, not just a mech! I love this minifigure, highly detailed and nicely done overall. Batpack suit looks good as well, but that's expected.

Box art looks final, image is just blurry. So I'm 90%sure they'll reuse 2016 Boba minifigure.

Balloon set will probably include Joker in full suit with coattails, since Pimp mobile, excuse me Lowrider has him in a vest and Arkham in prison jumpsuit.

Have you seen new Jestro minifigure, or is it some new character? It doesn't make sense for Jestro to be villain again, since he was cleared of Book of Evils influence and became normal jester again.

Does anyone else wishes this summer list was fake? None of the sets sound too interesting or memorable tbh, and no Rebels sets are the biggest dissapointment. I wish we could at least get 1 or 2 Rebels sets, maybe Maul's mandalorian ship Nightbrother with updated Maul, Zeb and Ezra minifigures.

So how different is he from all MCU Iron Man suits? Is helmet new mold from MM?

I really like new monsters look, especially headpiece. But are we sure they are stone monsters? This minifigure looks more like lighting/crystal hybrid tbh.

Loved that Guardians 2 trailer! Hope Lego sets will be on par with 2014 sets, but please not another Milano! I can still find 2014 one in stores , no need for another one. As for minifigures trench coat Starlord, Gamora, Rocket , Drax and Yondu. Baby Groot needs a new mold for sure, and Nebula would also be a welcome addition . As for the builds I can't wait for Ego The Living Planet, I mean he has to be a set, right?

I think Finalizer will be main ship for the bad guys in Ep 8, so it might appear as wave 1 set for Ep8 in September 2017.

As much as I'd like for that to happen, it's very unlikely at this point! Fans have been asking for some sort of Bespin sets for ages, and all we've got is Carbon freezing chamber! Lego is ignoring our Cloud City needs , and I don't understand why. There's clearly a demand for CS set either UCS or normal set, so it will sell as long as it's good. Plus there's been no reports of Bespin sets making an appearance in 2017, so it's probably not going to happen.

Just noticed we don't get any Rebels sets in summer! We get 2 Freemaker sets which nobody wants, but no Rebels sets with updated Ezra, Zeb and Maul? Wtf Lego? This is getting annoying, Rebels recieve such a little attention , but we get remakes of old sets like Desert Skiff and worthless Freemaker sets!

Interesting list, so much stuff, but not much noteworthy. Rebel Hangar , Vader Transformation and Death Gang sets are the only interesting ones so far. Quadjumper which appeared in a few scenes and didn't do anything in TFA, makes no sense, especially for 60€! Advent Calendar is annual set, Battlepacks are kinda weird since we don't have names yet. And Freemakers set seriously Lego? After failure of this years sets , which pretty much everyone hated, they make 2 more and they are more expensive? Where's logic in that? As for the sets that are interesting. Guvian set sound very good, considering its 80€ we could get brick-built Rathtar and part of Erevana freighter. Minifigures wise: Bala Tik, a couple Death a Gang Enforcers( hopefully with new head mold), Han,Rey and Finn. Vader transformation is intriguing! I loved 2005 set when I was a kid, and hope that for 30€ we'll get improved and bigger set, with burned Anakin, Vader and Palpatine! Rebel Hangar, if it's a final incarnation of that infamous set which never ended up in production is going to be awesome! If they improve that model and bring it up to modern standards I think it might be a really good set for every AFOL! Imperial Hovertank must be a mistake or placeholder name right? No way Lego rerelease set in less than a year( no Resistance X-Wing isn't rerelease of Poe's X-Wing!). Overall I like this summer wave, but it's not amazing , especially with lack of Rogue One sets and 2 Freemakers sets!

3 Homecoming sets? Count me in, I thought 1 was the most we can expect out of the new Spidey movie, but with 3 we can expect more than just Spiderman and Vulture minifigures! Probably Shocker, Tinkerer and Tony Stark at least! As for supposed Thor set, I'd love for Lego to finally give some love to Thor, he only ever had 3 minifigures, just like Hawkeye, but Thor is much more important character to MCU ! Hopefully this Ragnarok set will be really good and finally give Thor updated hairpiece! Also size wise I expect it to be like this years Doctor Strange set, so probably just minifigures of Thor, Loki, Hulk and Hella.

Really like this torso for a Joker, but face is pretty bad! Good thing that this head can be replaced with standard Joker head from DC Superheroes, to make a good Joker!

Ep 8 Luke set will be instant buy for me! He's the most anticipated minifigure from Ep 8, so I agree with you he'll probably be in most expensive set like Han was in TFA Falcon. Or maybe we'll get 2 versions of Luke , 1 in TFA robes, 1 in battle gear or something like that. This way he can appear in 2 sets! And if rumors are to be believed he'll be wearing different outfits in the movie.

This can't be just summer set, probably September Ep 8 sets are on this list as well! If Ep 8 follows TFA it will be 7 sets, so that leaves us with 8 summer sets, 2 of which are battlepacks so 6 normal sets just like this year.

New Rogue One trailer kinda explained Skariff Bunker set. Jyn Erso in Ground Crew disguise, and Kassian ( strangely not in officer uniform). I'm dissapointed that we don't get another K2-SO , seems Lego wants to keep him exclusive to Krennic's Shuttle set( good thing I have this set). And after seeing Saw Gurerra full body shot we just have to get his minifigure at some point!

You can always spend around 1000$ on the only Cloud City set from 2004 and replace yellow arms and head and make correct Ep 5 Luke. Apparently that's what Lego thinks, since they haven't made updated Cloud City set in 12 years!
