  1. Wow these smart brick minifigs look horrendous! I don't know why Lego never learns that their tech integrations always fails... This smart feature is just an excuse to raise prices again, and this time it will fail again. Considering what happened with Vydio and Hidden Side these overpriced bad smart sets will warm shelves in stores and Lego will discontinue this feature in a year
  2. I guess it's a matter of preference. It didn't work with Aspheera for me as her animated version had "printed" eyes which made her character more articulate (revenge! and all that). But I agree that not printing opaque eyes is even worse like with Frak figure
  3. New serpentine head looks good, could it be aquatic maybe? Once again the only issue is Lego refusing to paint eyes. Like why is it they refuse to do so since 2019? Like eye prints add so much to snakes character! Original serpentine molds are still superior to newer ones in my book.
  4. New wave sounds great so far. The treehouse set is the most interesting one for me it of Dragons Rising wave. Surprised Source Dragon of Life is so much smaller than Motion in terms is pieces (the build sounds cool though). And Serpentine return again? Hopefully the snake minifigs are good since recent snakes were weird with reusing Pyro Whipper heads. As for Anniversary sets Kai’s Blacksmith shop would be a must buy for me! Hopefully Lego don’t cheap out and give us new Samukai minifig this time(looking at you Day of the Departed wave). Also it’s possible Old town sets is Ucs Monastery of Spinjitsu? If there’s ever been a good time for this set it’s now!
  5. Spider verse Clf looks amazing as expected. Peter B. Parker, Spider Gwen, Spider-man India and Miguel look like they are a must buy day one. Miles, Spider-Punk and Prowler look good as well and the rest are just filler(even if they look very detailed). The only question I have about this series is why not release it in 2027 when Spider verse 3 comes out in theaters? Seems weird to release tie-in cmf when it’s movie is 2 years away. Would have preferred Lego to release regular marvel Cmf this year and move Spider verse one to may 2027.
  6. New Marvel sets are definitely an improvement on first Hal for year sets, but still we get a lot of misses here along with great hits. So let’s get price out of the way: all of those sets are very overpriced, some more then other. Spider-Man 2 set is amazing! Lego actually tried with this one?! New Dock Ock and Tobey Spidey along with Aunt May and Jameson. Must buy day one!!! Peters apartment set looks really good but not for 50$. Reused Spidey and Antivenom make mech set obsolete. New MJ looks really nice(LEGO actually tried to make her good) and Hobgoblin is great. The only issue for me is rubber cape instead of cloth. Overall nice set would be a good buy at 40$. Oscorp building set looks dope except for 2 unnecessary smaller buildings next to it. I feel like those pieces could have been used to make Oscorp labs better. The figure selection is good for the most part. Eddie Brock with venom head is a brilliant addition here! New Kraven looks good but still worse than 2016 one. New Norman Osborne look nice not sure about reusing HP head as he’d need more sinister looking face to represent Norman’s evil side. New Green Goblin is a unique take on character for sure but I need hd pics to make a final judgement but Ninjago hood piece reuse look solid on him. 130$ though is a highway robbery for this set. 100$ would be good price but at 130$ I’m waiting for decent sale. AoU Quinjet looks good , but maybe too much red on it compared to the film version. That stand looks amazing though and very sturdy compared to last years Milano stand. New Ultron looks even better than 2015 one! Same MK 43 Iron Man and Hawkeye are appropriate here. Black Widow though is everything wrong with Marvel these days! Like how did they screw it up so badly? They had accurate AoU Black Widow in last years diorama set! Why not use that minifig here where it makes sense? But instead Lego reused CW airport version and it’s terrible. At 120$ it’s a rough set, need good discount here. Endgame set with Thor and Iron Patriot is a mixed bag for me. As a figure pack other than Thor everyone else is good here! For once fat Thors face is accurate to the scene, but they screwed up torso and hairpiece. How did Lego make accurate version of this Thor in 2021 but makes way worse one 4 years later? All they had to do is reuse 21 Thor here! 4 Chitauri are nice but can we at least get Chitauri with face plates down like they were back in 2012 Avengers sets? New Rocket Raccoon is nice not sure about dark blue color scheme here, but Iron Patriot MK 2 is amazing! I expected Lego to just reuse April version of the character here but they did put an effort here. So overall good set but should not be more than 45$. Iron man 2 set has great find but bad Hammer drones build, need a sale to get this one. And that 4+ Cap vs Thanos set is the biggest ripoff of the year(and it has a lot of competition). Lego wasted print budget here on new Cap torso when they couldn’t bother to make I don’t know his Endgame torso again? At 40$ it’s gonna collect dust on store shelves for most of the year.
  7. Really impressed with Ninjago summer wave(prices are pretty bad though). Kai bike for 10$ is a steal and easy way to get new Kai. Ninja vehicle looks surprisingly good as a build, and all the figures are great here. The only problem is Frak’s head since lego for whatever reason decided to give him ninja hood instead of snake head. But the 90$ price is pretty bad especially since Ninjago has always been one of the best priced themes for years. Arin’s mech looks good and a gives a cheap way to get his hairpiece. Lloyd’s jet mech is genuinely impressive set and minifig selection is a really good here. Must buy for sure. New Bounty is probably the best version of the ship besides Movie version but minifig selection could be better for that price. Including another member of Forbidden Five here like Rox or Kur would make the set an easy buy day one for me. Also since part 2 of season 3 leaked I really hope we get that new look for Lord Ras next year. That probably the best any Ninjago villain ever looked!
  8. New F4 sets is a mixed bag for sure. Galactus build looks really good, but there’s too many stickers!!! The minifigs are cheap and lazy. I know it’s been debated if Thing should be a bigfig or normal one but I don’t like the idea of him as minifig. As for the rest of them no dual modded legs even though they all share same torso print and reuse existing faces(except for Reed)? Like that’s beyond lazy on legos part, they need to put quality back in Marvel line, cause it’s going downhill fast.
  9. Not a chance, Lego isn’t want to lose even a few bucks of their profits so legs prints are a no no for Marvel. But seriously with this insanely good financial results you’d think Lego would put more effort and quality into Marvel theme.
  10. New Source(?) Dragon looks amazing! The diorama stand adds so much to this build and new Wu is always nice to see. Fire Mech looks great as well but Cole’s mech from 2024 looks a bit better in comparison. Lloyd’s mech jet looks like a great addition to Dragons Rising line and exclusive Kur minifig is only available here. So it’s a must buy. And new Bounty might just be even better that Movie version. The only weak part of the set is lack of unique minifigs. This set probably should have included more Forbidden Five members to make it a better deal.
  11. Wow new Endgame set might be not just the word Endgame set(post 2021) but one of the worst Marvel sets ever... This set just screams lazy: - reused and inaccurate minifigs✅ - almost no leg prints✅ - bad build✅ - overpriced set ✅ At this point Lego should just cancel Marvel theme, why even create these sets if they are so terrible and lazy 90% of the time
  12. Nice minifigure lineup for Peters appartment set, but Anti-Venom inclusion makes buying the mech pointless. Curious if Lego will actually try with MJ figure or just use pre existing prints for her. And it's nice to have a Hobgoblin 9 years after original one came out, I hope Lego doesn't cheap out on his minifigure as an old one was great and I hope new one can do justice to the character
  13. New Hall of Armor is ok as a 40$ set but for 55$ it’s insanely overpriced. The Iron Patriot fig looks great but Pepper and other Iron Man suits are reuses so nothing exciting. Killian is ok but what is that face print? Couldn’t Lego be bothered to make new face print to accurately represent character these days? Hulk truck vs Thanos is hilariously bad set. Even that Hulk vs Red Hulk truck fight from 2017 is way better in comparison. Not sure about the price but it’s just a no for me. Oscorp set is priced at insane 130$ for 800 pieces. Like what is Lego thinking here? It’s Captain Marvel 2 set all over again! At most it should be 100$. The figure selection is also uninspired and if I had to guess most of them will be reuses. I just hope Norman and Green Goblin are new here but knowing Lego they probably are reused. Kraven can be interesting but I’ll wait for pictures before deciding on this set.
  14. New leaks just make it seem like 2025 is a great Star Wars year! New Slave I with Ucs Jango sounds great to me. And at that 70$ price it’s has to be better than that downscaled 2021 version. Although I’m a bit surprised why Lego decided to release both Ucs and system scale Slave I at the same time.
  15. New rumors for summer base sound good to me, except for another Quinjet this time 120$! Oscorp sounds like a highlight of the wave and since it’s comic based hopefully we get some new characters. New Green Goblin is a guarantee at this point, maybe even Norman himself? I just hope we either get new versions of spidey villains we haven’t seen in a while like Kraven, Shocker or Scorpion or some new ones. Hopefully the build is good and maybe this set will be as iconic as Bridge Battle from 2016. Quinjet sound boring and unnecessary especially since 2023 one was so good! It all comes down to minifigs and Quicksilver alone won’t sell this set to me. Also I’m baffled why Lego didn’t include Ultron here… Iron Man 2 set sounds like a good figure pack so I’m definitely interested in this set. Endgame battle sets are starting to get annoying considering how frequently we get them. New Iron Patriot sounds nice but when we’re getting Endgame Black Widow or Ronin? It’s been 6 years since Endgame came out and they are the only Avengers still missing from the lineup. Hero busts are interesting choice, but I need to see pictures to decide on them. And Cap vs Thanos 4+ set sounds lame but it’s 4+ so no harm done here but this set’s existence.
  16. If we really getting V-19 in the summer I hope the build is solid and decently sized unlike Arc-170 we just got. Also apperently Ventress is being teased as a possible inclusion with the set which is awesome since we haven gotten her since 2015! Now I just want new Obi-Wan in the set and it'll be a must buy for me.
  17. Hulk truck Vs Thanos sounds boring and that price won't do this set any favours. Both Hulk and Thanos seems to be minifigs instead of bigfigs too. And both are most likely reuses from their past versions so this set seems like an easy skip for me. Endgame Battle doesn't seem to be anything more than a way to get new minifigs. I just hope we get high quality minifigs here and Lego doesn't cheap out on prints like they did with with Civil War airport set.
  18. Kinda weird to say but mechs are the only sets in this wave that actually are worth buying and have good minifigs. Honestly Marvel theme is cutting way too many corners this year, it’s just sad to see this theme become so neglected by Lego.
  19. New sets are mixed mag as always. - Spiderman Mech Vs Antivenom is ok mech and Antivenom looks great, but why is it the same old Spidey when mech is clearly based on Ps4 Spidey game? - Venom car is whatever, Lego just can't go a full year without making random Venom set. - Spider-verse set is good, but the price is just too much plus Gwens face isn't accurate at all. - CW set is a prime example of Marvel sets cutting corners: Bucky doesn't have printed arm and has inaccurate face and torso. Wanda lacks skirt piece again and has inaccurate face, BP looks too plain, BW and Cap reuseold torsos, most of the piece sgo into buildable Giant Man and airport itself looks too small. Iron Man is the one good figure here. Lego is just way too lazy with Marvel theme, the need to do better. - Marvel logo set looks ok, but the figuresare a mixed bag. WW2 Cap is amazing, but the rest of the figures are either lazy reuses or just terrible. Not to mention lack of Hawkeye especially since set is Mcu based.
  20. The Fanstastic 4 vs Galactus set is apparently movie based after all. No comic book set with F4 for now unfortunately. And the Thing is also a mining for some reason
  21. It's nice that we will get Spider-verse CMF next year, but I wish Lego would just do Mcu Infinity Saga series to give us some missing charctares from Mcu golden age. Oh well, Spider-verse is a solid choice too
  22. Do we have any info about how popular buildable figures are? I constantly see them warming shelves in stores and many others have reported same thing. If they are not selling why is Lego still making them instead of more minifig based sets?
  23. Hall of Armor looks about the same as past versions, but minifigs seem unfinished and preliminary. Iron Patriot has no leg prints, Killian minifig looks unfinished and no Mk 42 Armor for some reason. Hope when official pictures come out minifigs will look better
  24. Been waiting for 6 years now
  25. Hd pics of Cap 4 set are out! The build is meh as expected, but it's ridiculously overpriced for less than 300 pieces! Red Hulk looks good as does Cap with dual moulded legs. Falcon is kinda disappointing hope he has Torres face without flight helmet prints. Not sure how Lego decided to price this set 55$, it's worth waiting for sale on this one.
