EXACTLY!!!! hehe, his construction is completly weak.... but i didn't know a way to build his joints... maybe i could have made him beeing completly stiff, but i didn't wanted that... the very best solution would have been to use the new technic hinges from the AT-ATs legs, but that would have been a little bit expensive... lol....

neverroads, thanks for the kind words! :D the pictures: its because of the really POOR quality of my handycam (Sony Ericsson T610)... the overall quality of the pictures is really bad... :( and if there isn't enough or even too much light, they are going to be more worse... (n) maybe i can afford some cheap digicam the next month, but thats not sure... but i will ask my sister's boyfriend, maybe i can use his cam...

oh yes, lord of the rings... i would really like to do some lotr-mocs, but i think i really haven't the right colors and parts for it... (the "natural" colors, e.g. tan, dark grey, green,...) looking forward to see somebody else making it!!!! :D

but if your kids are really chaotic ones, maybe this table will save the parts, so they aren't going to be lost... :loul:

hm... i don't (and maybe will never) own the two, but from the pictures i like the old one more... hes looking solid... the new falcon somehow looks a bit fragile to me...

yeah, but that is the problem: through the whole bunch of hinges he is really movable, but he also isn't really posable, because he will collapse if he isn'`t into the right position.... :(

if i remember right, he wanted to build a large DS trench or something like that.... or was this another guy?!?

it didn't take too long, i started building one evening for 4 or 5 hours and finished it the next day after almost the same time... so maybe up to 10 hours... but the best thing is, it is cmpletly build from old parts, except 2 parts it is build from bricks, plates, some (old) hinges, technic bricks,... nothing what wasn't available in the 90's... B)

oh no, that was only a joke!!! :< i can remember a post at fbtb, where some guy (that never posted before) asked for donating him lots of parts for a HUGE project.. lol, that was REALLY crazy... i always wonder, how silly people can be.... (n)

jon, don't know ice planet?!? i got only the small sets from this theme, and i tried to freeze some minifigs into ice cubes, but it didn't look like at the pictures... the ice wasn't clear, because of the chalk in the water.... :loul: your firestation: was it this? or this?!? i think this one fits much better to your description... here is the site, where almost every sets ever released are available: www.brickset.com

will be a hard job since you don't own more than the egyptian pieces from your shrine... :lol: thats my problem: i dont own very much tan and other new colored pieces (even dark grey), cause the only pieces i have are the ones from my star wars models... and i would NEVER NEVER mix my "old" parts (standard colors...) with the star wars sets... but if i get some money, i will buy parts at bricklink... (he he, i will definitly build a life sized battle droid when i have the time and money!!!)... but thats really far away... :(

but i dont know how long it will take... i would like to build first something for the contest and so please dont be too upset, i will post the frighter here, if it is finished!!! (maybe in one or two month...)

no, i never, never, never saw some PURPLE knights!!!! or light blue knights!!!! i want back my old falcon knights and the forestmen!!!!
