  1. It's amazing to see these all together! A real fantastic creation, I only could dream about building. Te scale and detail are perfect! I'd like to save your BS address in my homepage for future, easy reference, unless you don't approve. Excellent work Teazza
  2. Finally got my hands on 7628 Indy's Peril in Peru for $45 and, for a first Lego model for display, the original 3451 Sopwith Camel for $59.99. From BL, two of the promotional 4442 Gliders for $24 USD each. Not too bummed about the prices
  3. By day, like many others, I am working towards my mechanical engineering degree. By night I am working as director of maintenance in a 90,000sq. ft. office building. Leisure time I spend restoring things or working on my car or friend's cars
  4. Neat corner modular oirad 72! I really like the club. It's sporting my home states colors: Navy blue and gold!
  5. Excellent modular alex54! The exterior styling is fantastic. I like how you used garage slats creating pane glass windows, very elegant. The interior is very nice, as well, not overly crowded. All around a great entry
  6. I'd love to see either. I've never been to one, but I frequent Ohio a few times a year to see family. It's a bit out of my way so it's on my list of "things to do". I guess you'll have your slow days, but that 50% markup is crazy. I'm just happy that there is potential in running something like this. Seems like he's been there a little while
  7. I like the look of engines at the front, as opposed to one at the rear. How many cars can you pull without using 1x2 plates?
  8. Sounds really nice, something not to hard to manage. The price is right there on par with the Bellaire Toy & Plastic Brick Museum in Ohio. I reckon it would be quite necessary to charge. Have there been numerous people there while you guys took the tour or just a few people/families passing through?
  9. Quite interesting for being all just ONE guys collection. I've dreamed of having a large permanent public display. How big is the building it's housed in, or is it part of his home? Is it free for everyone? I'm really intrigued to know someone had the same idea and passion to actually do this
  10. That is quite an impressive build! It looks fantastic and the inlet fan blades look very complex, as does the rest
  11. I just saw this on eBay. I was quite interested in seeing it close up to compare to Lego's version. I didn't notice the misspelled sticker until now; very comical. Apart from everything else looking very unappealing, I have to agree that most of the other stickers look useful
  12. Being a bit redundant, I won anther 3442 Legoland California truck for $15. This is BNIP though
  13. Very cool layout! I love the Cars slot cars and track! There are some great MOCs in there, with many I recognize. It's great you made the front page as well. You must have really stood out
  14. Excellent modular RYB! Very cool color choice, it looks like a fun place to be for a show. The motorized windmill is a nice feature. Great job
  15. Sweet dealership for the beauties! I love the Ferrari signs
  16. Awesome convertibles dtm11! Love the detail fit in 7 wide. They look like a combination of an Enzo and 458. Keep these fantastic 7W vehicles coming
  17. Won Lego 3442 Legoland California Truck with unused sticker sheets for $13 and 7733 Truck and Forklift for $26
  18. Welcome to EB your highness! For the first question, I primarily use Brickfactory.info for instruction scans. It's pretty easy to use, searching by year or theme, etc. There is also Peeron.com, another commonly used site, though I am less familiar with. Your second question: I have bought from Chowren Toy's eBay store once or twice about a year or two ago, for some discontinued Indiana Jones sets. They were very nicely priced for new in box (NIB) and shipped quickly, to U.S. I have bought hundreds, literally, of older city sets from sellers on eBay. Very seldom have I or do I ever pay over it's original RRP. I love it for the quick shipments, and lower domestic shipping costs. Plus I have found most of every old set I missed out on. And if you are worried about faulty lying sellers, which there are, eBay/paypal have a very good buyer protection program. I have never lost money without receiving a set. Just check the sellers feedback. I like higher number sellers, 500+ positive feedback. Just so long as they don't have less than 98% positive rating. I'd give it ago or just keep an eye on it. Hope this is what you were looking for! See ya in the boards
  19. Cool review AFOLEGODT! I bought this set up primarily for the jeep, but I'm starting to take a liking for the plane, especially it's turboprops. Definitely glad I only payed half of it's full $59.99 though
  20. Great job CorneliusMurdock, very creative! The only problem is the expensive ice cream!
  21. Awesome cars TKOB! I love the Atom and the Tyrrell P34! Keep up the great builds
  22. An excellent variety of vehicles built very well. I got hung up on the Airbus MOC. Very good job recreating that goofy looking jet, I love it (can't believe those things fly)! Among my other favorites are the VW's, the torpedo bus, pickup truck, street sweeper, and the recreation of 685. 685 was way before my time, but I instantly knew what that modern truck was representing. They are all fantastic! Keep up the great work
  23. For MOCs, sets, etc, I get any tooth brush (new) and a glass of water. Dip the brush in, give it a shake of excess water, and do a few sweeps works quite well for me and doesn't drench the model (safe for stickers). Just constantly dip the brush to keep it clean. I do like the make-up brush. Seems good for base plates and other large surface areas
  24. I've been wondering what been up with your layout. It's a shame you had to pack it up, but I KNOW the feeling. I hope the move goes well and you are able to start rebuilding! Best of luck
  25. Fantastic build LT12V! This is a wonderfully detailed build of my favorite steam loco. It's massive compared to the Santa Fe! Very well done
