  1. Yep, wait a while and that box could be your retirement fund
  2. I think I know what you mean. Yoda was informed of the army, and called upon it to save the order. My guess is that the jedi saw the clones potential to counter the seps, and employed it to greater effect.
  3. It really seems like something family guy would do with their SW spoofs. They did the three OT ones, and another show is going ot cover the PT I believe. I can just picture it Yep, it was. Master Syfo-Dyas secretly ordered the army, the jedi council was unaware at that time. Sidious discovered the army, and instantly took into account how the emergency codes could be used to defeat the jedi order.
  4. Gah, I spaced when I wrote that. I don't know what I was thinking, I meant on the front. Instead of the 2x4s there. I smell self promotion...
  5. Same here, it looks good. Lots of clone action it seems. I hope TLG spares us and uses their finned Phase II helmet mold, though. Possibly in season five TCW will stick it on there. It seems as though whenever they bring in OT characters they make an interaction with the main characters that doesn't make sense. Logically Yoda should have met Chewie, he has good relations with the Wookies in ROTS. That would of made more sense. Yet instead he meets Ahsoka, on a weird sort of sick hunting planet. I hope they finally start making the base The Clone Wars, actually the Clone Wars. Last season there were only a handful of episodes actually relating to the war specifically. IMO the finally should always be a pivotal battle. I also the outer rim sieges are covered, one of the most unappreciated aspects of the Clone Wars.
  6. Great! That looks really good. The only thing I think needs work is the minifig selection, and vehicles. Some landspeeders would seem more fitting, rather than the speeders you've got now. Maybe taking off that M0ando might also be good idea. Other than those things, this is awesome. The moisture evaporators are particularly well done.
  7. Yeah, your solution looks better than that one. The shape of those handlebars IMO make SW vehicles look like ATVs, or snowmobiles I also had a suggestion for you, KDM. On the back of the BARC you've got those 4x2 plates for the repulsors. Have you tried the slightly shorter 2x3s? I think those might actually nail the back repulsors, It's something I'm considering doing to mine. Possibly with the 3L bar from the S2 waitlifter in there too.
  8. I Am Legend, ugh hated it. I liked it until they killed the dog, that was awful.
  9. Thanks Sok! Long story as to why those can't be deeplinked. I'll try and take some tomorrow, that are visible.
  10. https://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik=b19f5439d4&view=att&th=12f2d6bb0e91de16&attid=0.1&disp=inline&zw https://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik=b19f5439d4&view=att&th=12f2d6c9fdc36e17&attid=0.1&disp=inline&zw I've changed the plating around on the front a bit, to make it look better. The old one was too elongated. Do you think the base I have is proportionate?
  11. Yeah, KimT is almost always right. He gets his extremely reliable info from those who aren't to be exposed, it's easier for everybody if we don't start questioning KimTs info.
  12. Minifig Scale is a matter of interpretation , some things are proportionate to TLGs minifigure(The shape of the fig,) While other things are proportionate to the shape of humans, yet still can fit a minifigure. Here's a comparison of realistic person, and a lego fig: Now here's a comparison between two models of a vehicle made for this figure: This first one is TLGs, notice how it's fatter than the other one? While it's proportionately inaccurate compared to the real-deal, it's proportionate to the sqaure shape of the lego minifig. Now here's a rendition done by a MOCer: This MOCer(Brickdoctor) made his model proportionately accurate compared to a real human, however he still puts a minifig on it. Here's the real thing: As you can see, both are proportionate in the designers eyes.
  13. It's really hard to tell what's going on here, try organizing your scene to make it understandable. Wash some of those white plates should help a bit too.
  14. Hello everybody! I'm looking for some stuff, and I've got some stuff to get rid of too! Here are my wants: -Collectible Minifig stands. -Black Plates(4 by 2,4,6, or 8) -Clicky hinges. -Light Bley(Bluish Grey) bricks, sloping or simple. -Dark Bley bricks, simple. -Light Bley Tiles. -Light Bley plates. -These: -And SW Minifigs from Revenge of the sith. -Control panels(Preferably from SW sets) Thanks for looking, notify me if you have any of these things, and are willing to sell. USA, Canada, I will pay shipping, other countries-you'll have to pay for it
  15. Yeah, in addition that, there's a signifigant difference in slope on the front end(The side that leads the tank in ROTS.)
  16. Possibly, I was thinking of using a gear mechanism for that. I may experiment with springs though.
  17. Bingo. Yeah, I'm going to MOD those in, I just forgot about them when I was building
  18. Here you go! My wheels will actually be a tad bit bigger than saints, like 4.5 figs tall or so. Anyways, the wheels will be the last thing I build.
  19. So they say, if you read over Wookiepedia(Using the random article button) you'll find tons of stuff that is obviously made up. I suppose mine won't be quite to minifig scale, but pretty close. Yeah that's true, I suppose mine will be a bit undersized. That's okay though, it'll allow for a more accurate/detailed model.
  20. Yep Thanks? Huh? Those are my thoughts exactly. You see, I laid down 2 50x50s, a 32x32, and a 16x16, and said It just looked too massive. Yeah, I'm looking forward to the SNOT work. It'll take some time, but I think that it will represent the beasty CTT armor well. Thanks saint! Yeah, looking at your rendition, and two other ones across the web, I thought that 150 would look freakishly bug. Yeah I saw a lot of CTT lego sets/MOCs, some good, and some EDIT-Do you mind if I use your wheel design with some modifications? Yeah, I remember you using the TIE Advanced figure. Some weird stuff on Wookiepedia, dimensions-wise. Either there is no evidence, and that's just the editors work, or Lucas slapped on some dimensions without any thought at all
  21. Update : Progress on second page! After seeing saints MOC I was inspired to create my own CTT. I'm hoping for it to include SNOT armor( yet at the same time ), some sort of interior, accurate weaponry, opening side doors, and to be 100% Minifig scale. According to wookiepedia a CTT should be 150 studs long, what do you think? I'm going with 88 studs, and I can't decide f that's correct. Wookiepedia is so often wrong, it's a tough decision to make. Here's a shot of my progress on the base: This top view is horrendous, but here you go: C&C appreciated, please contibute if you can. That's sort of the point of a WIP topic
  22. This is great! You've inspired me, I think I'll do my own rendition next You're wheels are fantstic, the only thing that pops out to me is the inconstancy of the armor, the random tiles are a but odd. Fantastic MOC
  23. In TCW ships are deployed from the sides, the hangar on the bottom doesn't appear to be linked to the dorsal hangar(If a ship landed on the lower hangar the pilot couldn't get to Dorsal bay). As it is a cross section pic, it's tough to tell what's cutaway, and what's an actual gap.
  24. Their are 4 major hangars on the Venator . The largest is below the dark red doors. That's called the dorsal hangar, most shipts, walkers, and troops are stored there. The other one is on the bottom. The Venator has a similar underside hangar bay to the one seen in the start of ANH. The other two are located on either side closest to the center of the ship. These are two separate hangars, they're designed for fast deployment of gunships and starfighters, yet yield limited space. All in all 4 hangars, all different ones
  25. Yeah, it's more angular, the section that leads up to the bridge has various levels, the sides thicken out where the Venator insets ect... It's a totally different ship.
