  1. Same here, the Sep models, IMO, look a lot better than the republic ones. Eagerly awaiting ROTS(Obviously.. )
  2. Hello everybody! As my entry to the personal speeders contest, I present to you a BARC speeder that differs from all the other ones I've made. I built it for aesthetics, because it's a contest. I wanted people to like the model, and most people aren't as into accuracy, so I thought this would be the best way to go. I hope you like it, and tell me what could be improved to be worthy of your vote I used a SNOT bottom, with angled plates to get that nice smooth look. I also built the front on a Technic pin, while it left that little gap on the top, it allowed for the bit that sticks out at the front to be shown. How's this Obis? He rode one on Christophisis to penetrate CIS headquarters, only to be ambushed by Asajj-Ventress. Thanks for looking! C&C welcome as usual.
  3. As others have said, the Cis fleet is just something else. I will likely try and reverse engineer some of them, I wouldn't mind having having one of those Recusant cruiser
  4. No MOCs for a while, eh?

  5. UCS is usually considered 1:28 scale, bit it really could be anything. You guys were probably referring to size in comparison to minifig scale, correct?
  6. Yeah, so many perks came too. The wheels are perfect, as well as the 2x2 round piece used for detailing. Aesthetics, aesthetics, aesthetics,
  7. Size isn't everything, this CTT possesses some incredible design that other MOCs lack. Really fantastic work Anio. A spot on small model can be better than a big bad one
  8. DK books says the two hatches are located on the top. Looks good, those tiles really added to the model.
  9. Nice! Loving the spring colors
  10. According to Justin, one of brick busters members, he was blocking users who called him out on it. That credit wasn't there right after he was called out on it. My guess is flickr told him he'd be banned unless he gave credit. Anyways, I failed to leave my thoughts on the vig. Nice work here, I like your subtle incorporation of dk tan.
  11. This is awesome, such a creative idea. You executed blending the two vehicles perfectly. Good luck in the contest, not that you'll need it
  12. "Somebody" got busted! n00b. CABG had a similar situation a little while back. Clicky.
  13. Nice mech, while I'm not usually one for that fanon stuff, this is pretty cool. Good luck.
  14. FFA is a great way to build up levels, that's true. In some ways it's harder to play Vs. the computer. The computer knows whats the best units are to counter other units, which is why winners are usually the player who doesn't train too many of one unit.
  15. I hate FFA, to much chaos, and the winner isn't always the best player. I like 1v1, and team matches. What's nice about teams is that there is more tactical coherence involved. Sometimes I like this strategy where you have two military cities(Germany, France, and Spain come to mind) and one Ottoman. The Ottoman player controls all trade posts, and uses all economic shipments. The Ottoman gets 200 villagers, and harvests EVERYTHING. That player funds the other two and builds outposts. That makes this alliance weathly and funded, the only problem is that if the team manages to take out your economic civilization, well, game over
  16. Yeah AOEII was great. Especially with Conquerors installed. I was always Britain in AOEII, or Spain. The Conquistadors just own, and upgrade Longbowman have ridiculous range. Yeah, I've heard of that problem. Which is a shame because the ship battles are beautiful. Try putting your view point to an unexplored, or fogged area. I haven't tried all the Civis, but I found that if you use the french correctly they are awesome. The trick is to take advantage of the military style villagers, upgraing them with green coat, blunderbuss, and the HCS(Home City Shipment) of 'Pioneers'. Then I have them travel in large packs for each resource. I'll have to try that... Sounds cool. Yeah, it's sort of a "what if" situation. Which is why I tend to set it up realistically when playing offline. Like if I'm french, then I battle the English on the New England map. While the addition Home-Cities, and strategy in deck construction is great, I miss all the game modes What about strategies? I like to try and boom, rushers really annoy me. Which is why I love the Caribbean and Amazonia maps.
  17. I'm gonna upload the worst pun this thread has seen later..
  18. My issue is the shaping around the cockpit, the part usage makes it look a bit blocky. Which is both an aesthetic, and accuracy criticism. Also the method of representing the diagonal grey stripes on the wing could be improved. I'd recommend slicing a plate thickness of the wings, tiling over that, then using studs to angle Grey 1x8 plates to approximate that angle. Good luck developing you model!
  19. Looks good, from what I can tell. My big gripe would have to be those flat armour plates. I'd also recommend scaling down a bit0, but it's all up to you!
  20. Craigslist- try it. Not a better place to luck out.
  21. Ok, I'm not using this forum anymore. I've heard to many frightening stories, and my lego means a lot to me. Trading to an anonymous username is hard in the first place, and having heard two stories like this, I'm done.
  22. They likely wouldn't sell. EU is a recipe for disaster. Previous sales prove that. Besides, Lucasarts has to approve the sets...and we know where they stand
  23. After the failure named "Halo Wars" launched, Ensemble was closed down The problem with it was the fact that they made an RTS for with mostly console appeal, which didn't work out. I have Age of Mythology, it's really IMO. Maybe that's because I'm that Medieval/Colonial type. What civilization do you like? I'm either French, or English most of the time.
  24. Assuming that the vehicle can be made up, I'm guessing yes. You could make a super-mega-sith-rocketlauncher-flying AT-RT if you wanted to
  25. Hi guys! After recently purchasing a newer computer lately I installed AOE3, I'd played it before, but not on my own Comp. I really like the game, it's a nice addition to the series. So I was wondering anybody else play? If you haven't heard of AOE, and like RTS I highly recommend it. Go to the official website to download a demo, or learn more about it. The premise is this "What if" scenario in which 8 European countries are duking it out for the new world in a colonial time period. Anybody else play?
