Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
BrickArtist replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I agree, yet he'll lear to use spoilers, when we get a 300 dollar malevolence play-set with every cw character involved in those episodes. -
Yeah I think the grated, sloping 1x2, and the 1x1 white need to be scrapped. 3 of those 45 degree sloping white 1x1s on either side, arranged correctly shoud do the trick. With those changes it would be flaw-less!

A UCS Rebel dish turret! You should do some odd-ball stuff, with your skills. A darth vader helmet! Stuff like that...
-
Very nice MOC Oky! You did a great job with the back, and the engines. I'm not sure if you appreciate criticisms, but it appears that on the 'real' one the "hump" at the front smoothly integrates with the rest of the speeder. While yours is a busy there, IMO.

Same with me, if I go on through Wii internet, or ipod it shows the site like this.

How open are you about your Lego passion?
BrickArtist replied to Fugazi's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If you walk into my room......you'll no I like lego, and more importantly lego Star Wars! My favorite sets are displayed on shelves, their mifigs in line on dispalay stands, legos are all over the floor, my desk drawer conceals a star-wars visual dictionary, which I pull out, and rest in the drawer (like you would a real dictionary ) and use it as reference for my SW MOCs. Am i ashamed? Not at all! I'd like to see some of the people giving the looks interlock bricks for a SNOT a technique, or combine technic with studs to sturdy-up a MOC. I once remember seeing an AFOL poor out a large complex technic set on a store-counter, and saying "You build it", to this day he is my hero You get the point, I love lego, building lego, and everything about lego. -
It's caused by the recent clone-wars show, the kids like it, the kids like lego, and now it's pusing ot/pt sets to 1, 2, if we are lucky 3 sets a wave.

Haha ,the more you make fun of her....the better! Thats pretty funny, yet white back-drop, and maybe a couple more mouse droids, calling a mouse an imposter?
-
It's true, battle droids are scrawny, no print, and don't require torso pre-assembly as clones do. Clones need heavy print, and helmets. probably twice the amount of plastic. The ewoks cary lots of detail, unique molds, extensive print, and scarce accessories. As KimT mentioned, ewoks rack up the price. We can't see the dimensions, but the tree/multi-trap like a big contraption. Kind of reminds me of the forest-men sets. I wonder what those log pieces are....

Yup, angry medieval mob battle packs. That would be fantastic! Pitch-forks, torches, and dual-side faces. Not to forget the tar and feathers!

Best sets to buy to build a MOC-able collection?
BrickArtist replied to moc2's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'd recommend the up-coming creator log cabin, and just about any-thing creator is good. The summer 2011 sets are great. You'll probably want the wind-mill. -
Those decals are fantastic! Maybe one with some gold, for a wealthier elf?
-
Or they could do it like the DS, A set with no walls, but a shape representing the real thing. That would allow all the figs needed,
-
A little while some people said it was a let down because of the lack of figs.
-
Seems like something TLG would do though. They wouldn't make an accurate temple. I alone have mentioned this twice.
-
Is that a new, more accurate speeder in ewok attack, I can't tell, can someboby who has battle of endor tell me? I looks better. I'm surprised about the 'ewok attack' set being disliked. It's a big tree, chief chirpa, and a black ewok! Scout trooper ices the cake.
-
At some point, I think I'll design it as an LDD. Or if anybody else wants to have a go at it, go ahead!
-
All the detail, part usage, and the pure resemblance between the MOC, and real thing is what makes this such a great MOC. The only flaw is there appears to be some large, slope on top of the vehicle that are sort of 'abbreviated' on yours. If those were accurate, this would be a new level of perfection Great job!

You can make a bigger fool of yourself with direct statements. I used my zoom, the pics are still fuzzy. I brought them up on my tv internet, to see them even larger, zoomed in, and nothing. The grey is probably just low quality photography. I did notice something though I 'think' (keyword), that the t-visors are made less wide on these clones. They did this in the battle packs, and it makes the clones more accurate. It also makes them resemble the AOTC sets.

Qui-gons hair-piece is in the infiltrator! Yay! The probe droids are black heads with levers on them, which makes me and . Panaka looks fantastic! The infiltrator is inching closer to my list. I did notice a con though, padme didn't get a new torso. It's just the one from the republic cruisers pilot, but in the minigigures box it's a different one weird.
-
I don't either, some people seem to have "enhanced" vision when they see prelims These also are prelims, and we can barely see those. Perhaps somebody will be able to enhance/find out more about these images. Making assumptions on a prelim pic, and a tiny, barely read-able font is only a good idea if you want to make a fool of yourself.

Bunch of Yellow Bricks for sale
BrickArtist replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I want your blue and green! If the price/parts is similar to this on, I'll want them!Thank you! -
I think you guys dont understand my point. They probably prepared this page in advance. I'm guessing they will address this problem in the future. It's not that big of a deal, just a discount price, and a sold out sign. You didn't lose your lego's, you simply saw lego's at a cheaper price that you had no access to.
-
Great entry, I think the pic would be "weaker" if it wasn't behind a spoiler. I like how it pops out at you!
-
Agreed, this fantastic! But the baseplate may look good tiled, or not visible at all. Great Job
