This makes me wonder, is 2 small cups the way to get more bricks, or one big one? I'm very mythodical when packing cups at PAB walls, such a great way to get legos.

Both are very different, winning an award, is different than winning a contest. Winning a contest is excelling over others in comparison to their entries. The purpose of a general award is to commemorate those who excel consistently in a particular form of building. If said awards were given because of one single MOC, then yes the concept is the same as a contest.

Sorry to continue the bumping, but I had this idea and had to put it up. Is it possible for EB to put together an end of the year awards program? Awards for exceptional star wars builders, and users. Ones for best UCS, best small vehicle, best small/medium/large vignette-er, most out-standing new builder, most constructive criticizer(Which is A tie between FallenAngel, and brickdoctor, guys!) . Maybe one for best over-all SW MOCer Ect. . I think this would be a fantastic way to recognize members of the SW forum.

Exactly, the it's so annoying when people are declaring themselves right, with a megablocks quality zoom, on a blurry prelim! Which is why I want everybody to see how bad the zoom is, with the reference pictures we have. Lego won't ever come to the realization that about 3 new molds, or a series of illegal connections is the only way to do a correct droideka. I hope they do bring them back, It would be great to have the same set with more figs. Anikan, Obi, Qui-Gon, Panaka, Padme, Royal guard/ pilot, and possibly Maul.

I don't think they'll totally redo anything, sets have to kind of "evolve" My guess is a little more accuracy, and a more accurate size. Kinda like what they did with the sith infiltrator.

CTRL+SHIFT+= stifels pixels, is that what your using? It has the same effect as right click, and then 'Zoom In'. I'm anxious to see if anybody else see's a thing, it might be my computer. AT KOVAKS: Tlg seems to be doing a PT a year, last year was ROTS, this year it's episode I. So I presume they'll do AOTC next year!

Looking good, IMO showing a whole lot of badseplate is never a good idea, tiling it is best, but even just plating it would be a major improvement. The color hurt smy eyes, more grey would improve it. This is a great start I look forward to the finished MOC.

That pilot wasn't all that accurate though, a naboo pilot has that weird helmet, it looks a little odd, and requires A new mold. hmm, I don't see a single mark at all Maybe it's just me, does anybody else see a mark? Obviously a command skirt on him, though.

No, I'm just reminding you that enhancing pics of that size, to a size where it's plausible to make out some print, is very, very, very difficult. Not something a screen-zoom can capture. What pic are you zooming on?

You that when you do a computer screen-shot zoom(CTRL+SHIFT+=) it stifels the pixels, causing the picture to be blurry, and pixelated. This will kind of warp any darkness on the pic(like a clone visor, or print) to shades of, you guessed it, grey! So please stop saying blatantly that are right from a bad pic, and a non-enhanced zoom. There are ways to enhance a pic, but it takes a lot of time, and experience to do.

Not a lot of conversation about these two mystery sets, that seem to have popped out of nowhere. Any speculations on the "echo base" set? I'm wondering if it will be a huge set, with a massive quantity of figs, like the DS. I sure do hope so! As for the naboo fighter, maybe it will be an N-1, A ladder, and possibly an accurate naboo pilot? Which we are yet to get. Maybe they'll dig in more with the figs from those, throw a droideka in for us

I read over that just now, only one mistake I noticed, it's not greedo in the podracer set. It's anikans friend. I hope we get cody, I don't the 'Jet' guy, his helmet is so weird . I like cody, I missed the RGS, so cody, and Ki-Adi, in a relatively inexpensive set is a dream come true!
