TRU is really bad, huge mark-ups, really REALLY bad customer service, and fakey sales. I called mine once, reserved the stores last 10 series 2 minifigs. When I arrived 30 minutes later had been sold to another costumer. The 2 remaining were a ringmster and a skier. I. Hate. T. R. U. Thanks for the warning, I wont be buying series 3, though. Do you have the midi ISD? You might want to try using the base of that set, making the base wider and longer to accommodate the flat dk. red strip(to keeping it all proportionate ). This is a great venator. One of my favorite venators of this size. IMO yours is a little fat when compared to some pics of the venator, yet is to scale of some other pics. Is there two different types? Anyways, great job on this.

Slow down, no offense, but these ideas are getting ridiculous. Your compiled wish-list, is essentially every scene from TCW, with the correct figs and vehicles, correct? So we could just leave it at that.

Decide for yourself, take into consideration, parts, ideas, minifigs, and price. Buying sets based on what you want to build is good. Use bricklink to get parts for large MOCs. Good luck

Welcome to EB! I like the aprroach you've taken to this MOC, the sideways plates on the nose looks good, but I feel like all those sides being studded is a little to inaccurate. Tiles may be in your best interest. FallAngel has already given you the whole shebang(on EB we like to criticize each-other ) so there's not that much to criticize. I look forward to seeing where you go with this, good job

I have to say the snowtrooper is my least favorite of the bunch, not sure about the white cape, and white epaulets. I'm really looking forward to the B1, though. Will you be doing a grievous? That would be awesome

Fantastic, I love the techniques you used, and all the tiles give it a complete, smooth look. The combo with tiles, and the studded roof-top looks great as well. Great job on this MOC, truly wonderful!

Yeah, he survived oncoming missiles, from an advanced ship, being piloted by the most skilled bounty hunter of all time, the whole ordeal taking place through an asteroid field, yet in TCW/RotJ he seems to be annihilated by some tri-fighters

This is a gamble, I wouldn't be to upset if I got 8 samurai, but then again, what am I supposed to do with 5 crash dummies? I have been extremely luck with my purchases of series 2, 2sparts 11/16 minifigs, and I bought like 16.

Yeah, watch any video of a designer discussing a licensed exclusive(Diagon Alley) the designer say that the makers of the movie/show have to say they are pleased with the outcome. Which is why some sets are so outstanding...

We could just say make a set for every episode of TCW, which is what is starting to happen. Remember, its "what SW sets would you like to see". I'm gonna let this topic phizzle away...

Something that I feel like a lot of people forget, never blame the designers. Those poor designers build with low part limits(Whch is very, VERY, hard), high stability standards, and a ton of playability features in all the sets. Believe me, If the designers decided what the sets were going to be, and built them without a part limit, they would just be amazing. These sets are minis, they aren't going to be any-where close to spot on.Just something to keep in mind, before we diss designers.

What did everybody think about the RoTs approach to the episode, dark dingy feel, anikan and Obi flying wing-tip to wingtip, and midway through the battle Obi getting thrown away? I loved the space battle but the rest was....meh.

Yeah, that sounds probable. That's only CW padme for a new fig. I imagine if TLG did this they would include the neimodian shuttles as well, possibly a droideka. I don't think it unlikely for jar-jar to be thrown in there as well.

I agree, its great price, on a great set. New molds/figs are good, and in excess they bump the price.

I had no intentions of insulting you, I was merely stating that a wink, after a correction often comes across as smug. I don't read the online summaries, or surf wookipedia. If someone gets something wrong isn't saying 'so there' rather rude? If you look back I believe I was defending a newer member, with some set ideas that you rudely shot down. All I ask is you are a little more polite. It is, after all, an AFOL site, where people behave as well AFOLs.
