  1. Everyone says the frame of the veil is gold, but what about it just being dark tan? That's what I thought it was. Gold would be a very weird choice, because in the film the frame is not shiny at all. But dark tan I can understand, to make it look like stone, but not let it blend in with al the grey at the bottom.
  2. Yeah I saw them as well. But after building the east wing myself, there is no good connection between the two sets. It still looks pretty good tho :)
  3. Continuing the build of the east wing, I will say that overal I really like it. But I do feel that the build is a little bit messy in some small parts. And in the girls bathroom, I really don't like the big gap between the right mirror and the white pillar next to it. The previous version was definitely better. So I will probably change out the bathroom for something else, but I don't k ow what yet. If anyone has some good suggestions, let me know.
  4. After building the new basilisk, it is absolutely my favourite version. I like that is has no chunky middle section anymore and I love how smooth it moves between the pieces. Just like a snake should.
  5. I believe it's still the same Snape. In the lifestyle photos you can still see the silver shirt. So probably just something weird with the rendering.
  6. The bird patronus is definitely a different mold from that of the Dreamzzz one. The wings from the Dreamzzz bird keep swooping upwards, the patronus flattens out about alfway. Also the beak of the Dreamzzz versions swoops down a bit while the patronus is more straight.
  7. In the comments there are links to the online store with more pictures :)
  8. I love the OotP version! And adding the carriage and a tree really completes it.
  9. The 2010 version also didn't have one.
  10. I wonder if the head of Job from the Star Wars Onyx Cinder set would work for Lucius in DH.
  11. I knew it was a dark blue. I was trying to look for a good photo too, but you beat me there hahaha.
  12. The manor looks really nice, day one for sure. But why did they give Harry a dark brown jacket?? I'm pretty sure his is dark blue right? I know it's a dark scene, but they wear the same outfits at Lovegood's house and the chase scene that came before.
  13. Thanks! The curtains are a simple build, but I don't have a lot of blue parts. Therefore it was a little tricky for me to come up with something so I could build 8 of them. But it worked out in the end :) Thank you so much! It's always nice to hear people like the way I make photos and videos. I used natural daylight so that it looks as realistic as possible and I like the way the light comes through the windows.
  14. Hey everyone, Today I share with you my latest moc. The Ravenclaw common room. As it is the house I'm in myself, I wanted to try and make my own version. I hope you enjoy it!
  15. Hey everyone, Here are just some Destiny 2 inspired minifigures. A warlock, hunter and titan. Hope you like it :)
  16. I believe I'm counting 6 new wand moulds in the picture where you can see the inside of Ollivanders . Which means we get 4 of each mould in 2 different colours
  17. The Ginny hearpiece they use for Cho in the calendar is also new in black :)
  18. Thanks! I like to do photography in my spare time, so naturally I use some of the same techniques for my Lego photos. Yeah, I took inspiration from some different sources, but the main ones where the early HP games. I was inspired to create this moc after playing Hogwarts Legacy. Thank you! I liked adding the minifigures as well. Some of the students in this moc where even D&D characters in our HP universe (mine was Niall, the Slytherin student with the black hair). Thank you so much!
  19. Hi everyone, I present to you my newest version of the entrance hall at Hogwarts. It took me quite a while to make it look how I wanted and I hope you all like it. (I also made a simpel video to showcase it) .
  20. That would be great and I think would help quite a lot of other people :)
  21. That's what I'm also very curious about. Cuz if you make the set as flush with the wall as possible without modifying it, it doesn’t look at all 50cm deep. I have the same problem that my shelves are 38cm deep and 76cm wide. So I would very much like to know how deep it is when it's flush with the wall.
  22. This set looks beautiful! But I will replace some of the heads and hairpieces with the originals.
  23. He wears a jacket that looks a bit like this and not a shirt. Even then, the patern is different. These lines are broken up, but on his jacket they are continuous lines.
  24. Also trying to figure that out, but can't find anything. Maybe it's just not from Harry Potter at all.
  25. I build mine as well yesterday and it's so cool (best Horntail so far for me). It's the only one out of the three moving creatures I have, cuz I love it's minifig scale. And I really like dragons in general, so this was an instant buy for me.
