I really like that you are expanding upon your "Isle of Alnya" from the Safe Haven contest! The trees are great (I spotted you in there, goblin!), the plants are great, and the winding, downward path is great as well. But the dark brown soil layer is awesome, because 1) it separates the reddish brown above ground from that underground, 2) while bridging the gap between the black and reddish brown, 3) and contrasting superbly with lime green, and 4) it's also accurate, because the top soil layer in old forests darker than the ground below, because it is rich in humus! Nice interior, especially like that curved section of wall left from the fireplace. Really the only thing that I can't bring myself to like are the goblins, sorry! Keep rocking, John!

The stream is great, as Grover says, and how it undercuts the snow! I also second his comment about the angle. I think in this winter setting, the big tree is a bit odd. The shape and lighter green colours suggest it is a deciduous tree; by the time winter comes around it should have lost its leaves already. I think it would look good in a summer setting, though.

Yes, plenty of 2020 hair pieces have become available, and some 2019 ones have been reducee in price. Maybe I'll compile them.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Exetrius replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don't know how relevant this is since 1) everyone seemed to have placed an order already , and 2) there's at least one website that is far more complete in compiling what's available, but I like share these little personal bricklists - as I like to call them - nonetheless: 2020: 2019 (several reduced prices, and I think a few new available things??): Also, a small miracle happened: I was trying to flip the screen to take these screenshots, upon which my laptop crashed, but when had started up again and Chrome restored the webpages, my cart was still intact! -

What's the part number for those dark tan/reddish brown dual moulded legs (or what set do they appear in)? AAWWW YEAHHH!! Thanks so much! Btw, I noticed that Mysterio's 'glass helmet' has been reduced from around €1.00 to €0.44. Nice. :) -
I think there is an audience that likes life-sized, or larger-than-minifig-scale-sized lego objects (hence the approval of the piano). There aren't many sets in that genre, so I see the appeal to that group. Perhaps part of the voters hoped for all-printed keys, which I'm sure would be used for many MOCs.

Promobricks has encountered another new dual-moulded short legs piece: in yellow (on top!!) and white.

Bionicle set please, please, PLEASE! Legend of Zelda would be fantastic, but I think the franchise is still stuck with licensing issues. I like the chalet, but maybe it's a little too large as-is. Futurama ship and Ratatouille projects look good, but have less priority for me. Tbh, I really don't see any longlasting appeal of the aquarium once you've built it and given it a few spins.. is it just me?

Now I understand what you mean with the "bionicle eye helmet": the nindroid headwrap! Couldn't see the images before (on my iPad). I would love to buy the 'waffle' Technic beam from SPIKE Prime... if it were 3 euros cheaper. -
Oh, that's a nice biker helmet!

@AMD Haven't watched Accel World (yet?), but at times I've been fairly sure there are anime fans among the Ninjago design team. This doesn't surprise me, I think the asian style is what keeps the theme authentic despite the wide variety of genres it has touched upon. Aside from the Chinese new year sets, Ninjago is only theme that consistently taps into asian culture, and I can imagine that as such it is very important for the sales in Asia. So I don't expect Ninjago to fully drop the asian style, not even for a wave.

I salute you, fellow anime fan! 100% with you on this!

That ice dude is superb!! Edit: Apparently, as reported by the article, this is not a self-compiled BAM thing, but rather a pack that comes with these figs assembled, and can be purchased for €6,99. I wonder if this will become the norm for the release of BAM-exclusive parts?
-
Nearly all the new hairpieces are listed on B&P, but very few are available yet. These are the ones I found available (ignore the other parts): Also, Flitwick's hair in medium nougat showed up in the BAM-wall:

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Exetrius replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
If everything were always available, this thread likely wouldn't exist. I tend to think of B&P as gold digging; sieving through heaps and piles of dirt in the hope of finding a few little gems, I think it's kind of exciting that way. Btw, "out of stock" is just a label. This has been discussed before, most likely it's a strategy to initially sell more sets to the impatient, then after a few months make them available and sell more parts to people that crave them after the long wait. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

I went trough many sets across the whole width of 2020 sets and what I found was that nearly all new pieces seem to be listed, but they are out of stock. I'm not an expert on new recolours of common parts, but it seems these are not available yet as well. Here's the exceptions I found: Some may not be new, but I personally didn't see them available before. -
LEGO Hidden Side 2020

Looks like a cool little set, and the spending mark is finally at a level that I'd be considering ordering something. -
Yeah.. sure...

@Peppermint_M Congrats! Obviously this is off-topic, but the article raised two questions with me: who calls it "CrackLink" and who is still angry about the bluish greys??

Hi! This is the thread where I'll be posting my figs from time to time, glad to have you here! I've been quite active making OC figs in the past (not so much nowadays) but I never really shared a lot of them on EB, most of them stayed on Flickr. Recently I've been compiling years worth of individual figure shots into collages, in an attempt to streamline my Flickr photostream and to also free up some space for future images. I thought now would be a good time to share them. In no particular order: Alternate Ninjago Pythor (Ninjago Rebooted) || Galactic Federation Zane || Cyborg Ronin Captain Cole || Saiyan Kai || Darth Cole Magma Cole || Relic hunter Zane || Saiyan Cole Modern fantasy & sci-fi Business Man || Agent Headhunter || Scarletti Pilot Black(White)tron || Roadhoa || Deathgun Saiyan || Agent Wolffe || Techno Ninja Hunter Medieval fantasy 1 Warrior || Dragon Drow || Uorenn Kerbunnt || Siralia of Ilyasvir Agéra || Reptarian || Vampire ronin || Dragon Rider Enzan Armafur || Exetrius Centario (custom army uniform) || Pumpkin mage || Aethereal guard The OC Ninja project Green Ninja || Master of Spinjitzu || Ninja of Stars || Quérardo Scalpellina || Airiana || Retrorius || OctanCorp Ninja Tsunamo || Crimson Skull || InstaGoProNinja || Yoshinturamachi Sasekageojima _________________ 2019: Ninjago figbarf (Serpentine tomb) Nindroid || Overlord-possessed Min-droid || Techno robes Jay || Techno robes Kai || Venomari Leader || Tomb guard Lasha || Stone Army scout statue || Stone Army warrior statue Villains figbarf Supercharge || Alexei "The X" Erpotov || Deathwing || Umbra Brittanica || Dr. Osmund Divine beauties figbarf Cavernis || Kitsunari || Yokazuki (top) || Onibashiri (bottom) || Racha'on || Umiamaru _________________ Thanks for looking!
