  1. Just grabbed 42009 off Ebay for half price (used)! Can't wait for the epic build.
  2. Hehe, I could write essays on this topic, but I think I'll start with a short list of top favorites. My main interests Anime, particularly sci-fi, mecha, steampunk, action, or adventure genre. I think some really top favorite Anime of mine are: Attack On Titan (On the edge of my seat the entire time) Black Lagoon (Amazing but very under-rated) Code Geass (Undeniably one of the greatest things ever made. Its in my Top 3 list. If you have not seen this, you're just missing out :P) Cowboy Bebop (Amazing!) Darker Than Black (Really good. Totally underrated) Death Note (Undeniably one of the greatest things ever made. Its in my Top 3 list. I rooted for Light the whole way) Ergo Proxy (One of the most unique and sophisticatedly interesting things out there. Almost everything is a symbol or has an inner meaning. Every one must see this) FLCL (Totally freaking amazingness that can't be described with words!) Ghost in the Shell (Undeniably one of the greatest and most unique things ever made. There is literally nothing else like it. Its number 1 in my Top 3 list. ) Gundam 00 (Freaking Amazing! now I must get all the Gundams) Gurren Lagann (Undeniably one of the greatest things ever made. Its in my Top 3 list (yes I know I have 4 things in my top 3 list)) Samurai Champloo (Samurai and Hip Hop? Its freaking Awesome!) Welcome to the NHK (Freaking Amazing! and really funny) A couple movies I think are worth mentioning: 5 Centimeters Per Second) Appleseed Howl's Moving Castle (Or pretty much anything Miyazaki) Steamboy (Freaking Awesome!)
  3. Really cool, thanks for posting. Definitely waiting for this set to come to the USA!
  4. Lego stickers on old sets that peel and become grungy over time :(
  5. For me, I'd have to say it was 42000 and 8070. Those really pushed my love of Technic and, particularly, Lego cars. Also got me to switch from studded to studless.
  6. Really cool model C. I just got set 42022. I'll try creating one of these myself.
  7. Pleased to meet you all! I've been browsing for lego Technic information and MOCs for some time now. Think its about time I join in on the fun! I'm a computer scientist and electrical engineer from the states (though currently moving around a bit). I've been an avid fan of Lego since I was a kid since my whole family played with them as they were growing up. Back then, I'd play with old Lego City and Model team sets passed down from my brothers. By the time I was finishing college and started moving for work, I had become engrossed in cool Lego Technic creations and MOCs on the web. So as of now, my main Lego themes are Lego Technic and Model Team. I'm particularly into Technic models of cool vehicles and aircraft. You'll find me on the Technic forum a lot browsing MOCs. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to post my own soon. Apart form lego, in my spare time, I'm an avid photographer, gamer, Anime fan, and biker. Also, I should say special thanks to Lego designers like Sariel and Nico71. Without the information on their great sites, I prolly wouldn't have found this place so fast Thanks all.
  8. This is brilliant! Absolutely loved it Sariel!
