  1. Like the Porsche GT3RS, Bugatti and Lamborghini, the wheels aren't available on Bricks and Pieces and most likely never will be due to it being a licensed part. I tried ordering the wheels of the Lamborghini a few times and every time the order got cancelled or denied. So if you want the wheels and shock absorbers, it's probably a better idea to just wait for a decent discount and buy the complete set.
  2. So the only basis for that speculation is that the real Cybertruck got delayed to 2023? So did the Tesla Roadster and the McLaren Arthura, those are far more likely and I still don’t think those will be it. There is so much more being delayed for various reasons. Just wait for anything official or news from trusted sources, or we’d be speculating for eternity.
  3. I wonder if something will be done digitally. I might be misremembering but I believe they did this last year.
  4. They are available, and they are expensive. They cost about €8 a piece.
  5. A few years ago this build would be considered impossible, but you nailed it imo. Looks fantastic! Those connectors on the front look a bit messy though.
  6. These rumors are sadly usually correct. Nothing is for sure though.
  7. You'll need to be a little bit lucky, but set 8386 can found quite cheaply if you look long and hard enough. I've seen them for €25-€30 a few times. It has two red toggle joints, but it also has two 1x6 thin liftarms in red, two palm tree trunks in LBG, a couple somewhat expensive soft axles in red and a bunch of black 3 long pins. Well worth it imo, if you need some red parts.
  8. Optical illusion. It’s on the ground.
  9. Thankfully the UCS cars are, so far, built with more care than the embarrassing 42125. Yeah there's only a few glimpses of the prototypes. But, if you look at the louvres, they're clearly that of the Aventador SVJ. The Sian looks nothing like that. The wheels are also a 1:1 copy of those from the Aventador SVJ.
  10. They made a motorcycle have almost 2000 pieces. Just make it bigger and the part count will go up.
  11. They made an Aventador, it just never made it to the shelves. Bottom left: Aventador SVJ wheels on the right side: These are screengrabs from the Lamborghini Sian videocasts. The reason is most likely not a choice LEGO makes, but rather their partner.
  12. Well that's a disappointment. Supercars are pretty much the only thing I am interested in. It does confirm it's not an existing car though, which eliminates basically every single guess in this thread So, anyone happen to know which real life cars are being delayed to 2023? Also I guess this is possibly why LEGO decided to continue producing the Bugatti Chiron for another year.
  13. It won’t be an R8. It simply doesn’t have the wow factor a Bugatti or Lamborghini has.
  14. Logically thinking, the first one looks more legit. The supercar has so far always been the last number in the summer wave. So, there are either one or two sets missing and the other four will come in October, or it's fake. But since 42141 and 42142 are already occupied, I am leaner towards the latter and assume the first list is correct until proven otherwise.
  15. So similar list to what I found, but the UCS car is a different number and the logging truck is missing. Now it's once again a mystery which one is correct We'll see quite soon I think.
  16. Metallic colors are actually painted. If you grab a screwdriver and scratch the part, you’ll see it’s not solid metallic silver or gold. At least, that’s how they’re made now.
  17. I found this list on Reddit. Can’t verify legitimacy so take it with a grain of salt. 42142 - TBA - unknown parts - $99.99 42143 - Logging Truck - 1310 parts - $119.99 42144 - Heavy Lift Helicopter - 1692 parts - $149.99 42145 - TBA - 2137 parts - $249.99 42146 - TBA - 3726 parts - $379.99 Last one is definitely the UCS supercar. 42145 is probably something Control+ to replace 42114.
  18. It's not even close: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=1650stk02#T=C&C=0 A total of 155 stickers for a 220 piece set Although for a Technic set, or set made with technic parts, it is. The 42125 Ferrari is probably second. If anyone is interested, I found this Brickset article regarding stickers: https://brickset.com/article/56577/which-set-contains-the-most-stickers
  19. I don't know about Technic, but I remember the LEGO Ideas Wall-E set had its neck redone. https://brickset.com/article/17707/this-is-the-official-wall•e-swivelling-head-fix
  20. Part 42195 is now available in DBG: I remember needing them for something but I can't remember what
  21. The two parts that still seem to have issues are part 15100 and part 22961. I suspect this is because they are now made using a different kind of plastic. This is backed up by the fact that LEGO gave part 15100 a new part number. If anyone remembers, a few years ago part 15100 was extremely stiff. Pulling them out of a liftarm required serious strength, especially for a younger builder. So they changed the material to a softer plastic, similar to recent pin changes. While they were at it they seem to also have changed it for part 22961, although I don’t remember having issues with that part. It does seem that only red and lime suffered from this change in material, though I didn’t really order any in any other color since the swap. To answer the question: no, it hasn’t been solved. It has been massively improved since launch though. The first Sian I bought in June 2020 has panels and liftarms (the small panels, #21/#22) and 1x2 (xo) shaped liftarms which were really bad. I have seen people report issues with the bigger panels as well though. I did recently order a third Sian which I did not yet open. This one was produced in September 2021. I’ll see if that one is any better when I find a reason to open it.
  22. Typically they’ll eventually be selling at 30%-40% below RRP. The CAT bulldozer is not hard to find at €300. The Sian has been at €250 a few times and I recently bought one for €229. It’s just a matter of time.
  23. Yeah, I've thought about it but there really is no obvious way to stiffen it up. I thought of this initially but forgot the 42099 hubs don't have pin holes:
  24. Maybe these old school steering hubs will be useful again. It will be a challenge to integrate them properly, but it shouldn't be impossible.
  25. Here's a file for LDraw by Philo: You can import that to Studio, usually without issues. There is also the LDraw file for the "Pimped" version, by jb70 (and others), right here: https://bricksafe.com/files/jb70/42110-pimp-up-my-landrover/42110 Pimp up my Landrover.mpd
