  1. Love this series man, not really familiar with the concept, but it does look great.
  2. I thought the same thing :) Maybe he was nervous or its a medical condition. Perhaps, but it seems like a weird thing to have a licensing agreement about.
  3. I've watched the video, and my opinions have changed from a "cool" to an "awesome!" It is very well crafted and completely accurate and detailed as the real one. The removable engine and the ability to prop of the back using the stick is just ingenious. Too bad everything, except what was shown separately, seems to be a sticker. Even the 1x1 round tile with the Ferrari logo. But that is a very, very small flaw. What a good set. Still hoping for that polybag though.
  4. I'm wondering the same thing. Anyway, I think that its pretty cool. Nice classic, old school feel to it. The box is very nice too imo, very simple, makes you reminisce of a simpler time, back when this car was still being produced. (Then again, I am partial to that blue color). But a showroom with a beautifully tiled floor and glass doors showing off a nice, villa style background would've been nice too. Does anyone think that we'll get a polybag version of it?
  5. I know, I'm thinking about going that route, but I don't really want to order online, especially from a foreign country like Hong Kong. Thanks anyway though. Does anyone know where to get Decool figs in the US? Is there maybe an Internet site or something, or perhaps a brick and mortar store to purchase such items?
  6. Oooh, thats smart. I like that a lot actually. Thanks for your help. As for torsos, does anyone have any ideas? Sadly Lego made no red bat signals that i know of. Nightwing might be the closest.
  7. Exactly, you're in the right.
  8. Anyone have ideas for a purist Arkham Knight? I've been thinking of old Haweye's torso with black arms and Sith Trooper Legs with a black head and a black batman cowl? Can anyone post pics of that please? I've been wondering whether to go though with it and place a Bricklink order.
  9. If getting what she rightfully deserves is abusing their parts system then thats just down right crazy.
  10. Yeah I understand. Also, I apologize about the whole male thing, I just use he when unknown, second nature… corrupted by society I guess. But seriously, I am very sorry.
  11. I completely understand and with or without its not that big of a deal. I too however think Peter Parker, staying faithful to the comics wouldn't have one. However, if he would have one in the film translating it into Lego wouldn't be too bad... (Thanks for the pic goes to Adeel Zubair, from Flickr and is also on Eurobricks) I actually think that is a good representation of our new Peter Parker.
  12. I realize that, its just that we want him: a. in a movie b. as a Lego minifigure with a sleek dark blue helmet as he has in the comics
  13. That would be cool, but it'll never happen. I'm sick of the insecurities, he shouldn't be finding who he is in the movies, a far more compelling story would be if he already knows everything about his life. I am sick of him working out the kinks and quirks of his life. While yes, he should be learning more about it, it should be done in a more fluid, more subtle sort of way like in the comic world. Also, it won't be an origin story, he will already be Spidey when we first get to meet him, which will be good since he is already more comfortable with his powers. I like the age they picked though, it is sort of how I envision him when I write my own stories and what not. As for the gap between him and the heroes, its something that was only found in the comics and never a movie, so I think it will be cool to see. And although it is not for this thread, its just my 2 cents.
  14. But its not what he wanted or expected, so, back to the drawing board. Do yourself a favor and just call them. I've went both the e-mailing and calling route and calling is way more efficient. Just a tip.
  15. Quicksilver agent of B.H.J.T.A.T.T.D. Do you think we could get sets on that?
  16. Oh man, I love it. You can tell tons of work and planning went into it. The posing of all the figs is very well done and it all just blended perfectly together. Any chance we could see the buildings you were planning, maybe in a build for Brickworld next year? I would have loved to seen the "Avocados at Law," and judging from the pic of the building on your Flickr, each structure would have been awesome. Anyway, epic job altogether and the attention to detail in the build was astounding. (Especially the numbers by the legs of the Sentinels "02" and so on.) For some reason I was so captivated by that subtle detail, the fact that there was a number on the mech. FInally, congratulations on the Best Mech(a) Award, very well deserved. Couldn't think of a better person, or a better build to have won it.
  17. Eh, nothing special. I like it except for face. Kinda wish the mask wasn't so thick and the mouth was a bit more stern and didn't have the line near the lip. Also, the packaging seems kinda bland compared to the Sam Wilson's. The background was so detailed there, using multiple colors just like in the Secret Wars comic for the falling meteorites. Here, we just get two tiny buildings and a moon that is a focal point for no reason, and is awfully close to the packaging. Its just obnoxious. The figure isn't that bad though… its just… that head. Ugh!
  18. The dark blue is way better, I agree. However, we did get a Sam Alexander figure… err… sort of… it was in the Ultimate Spider-Man Daily Bugle set. It wasn't based on the comic, only the TV show. Sam is great, but Richard Rider will still be in out hearts though. As Daredevil would say, I don't see whats funny about that joke. (Just kidding, I thought it was clever)
  19. Have teams build a car using Lego then slide them down a ramp from a table and see which is fastest. Construct and reconstruct time and time again, enhancing the car and learning from your mistakes. See who can build a set fastest. Either each person builds their own or the way that strengthens a team more is to have teams of a few people in a line and each person switches between building a certain part of a set. For example: one person builds for two minutes, and after his/her allotted time is over the next person goes, picking up where their teammate left off. This continues until the build is finished. Polybags!!! Buy 2 kinds of polybags, for example, the Joker Bumper Cart and the Halloween Pumpkin, and have teams combine them into something creative. This activity takes some cues from the Lego Movie, inspiring creativity and team work. Maybe have each person on a team build their own combo and have members vote as to which is the best one. The best build from each team moves on and competes with the others. The most creative or best looking one wins. I'm sure more activity ideas could be found on the Brick Fest Live website or reviews from attendees.
  20. Hey man, I know we've already communicated over on the Marvel Topic and just decided to swing by to give you a formal welcome. So, welcome to Eurobricks man. Believe me, you'll have a great time.
  21. This is practically my wish list. Mysterio is is awesome, especially well done in Spectacular Spider-Man. Black Cat would be awesome too. As a kid, I remember watching the Spider-Man Animated Series and how Carnage was my favorite Spider-Man villain (with my brother's being Venom.) Oh boy… good times :)
  22. Yeah. Well, its a good time to head out to the PaB wall. But seriously... These other ideas are great. I was gonna say to maybe check out activities from Lego conventions, such as Philly Brick Fest, and use some of those.
  23. Yeah, the quality has dropped slightly, and it is most noticeable in CMFs. (Which is sad because nowadays CMFs are almost the only kind of variety in non licensed figures that we get.) --- regarding city and historical themes at least.
  24. Ok cool, thanks. Good to know that it can be changed up, so getting more suits isn't a problem. The Hulkbuster's size is also fine by me. If it were any smaller, while it would be pretty good for display, it would really be lacking somehow IMO. Yeah, I could see that. Seems the most logical based on what we got over the past years. 2 suits per Avengers movie and then one for Civil War. Rhodey no doubt will get another suit, sadly I already modified mine to be more accurate to AoU using gunmetal silver for his arms and legs, but I'm open to an official one with silver, gray, and black. Richard Rider would really be amazing. Heres to hoping we get him.
  25. It is a good piece, but no question it should come in a wider variety.
