  3. Seems we have the same designer to thank for Giant-Man and the web warriors bridge. http://brickset.com/sets/list-14595 Someone on NEOGaf has said that this designer is truly one to watch and I wholeheartedly agree. He is doing some awesome things especially with his two biggest sets.
  4. Thanks a zillion man, I really appreciate it. :) Will probably Bricklink Kraven, give him Doc Strange's head, and give him Zane's hair in black. That would be a perfect fig for one of my favorite Spidey villains! And lol at Gwen Stacey launcher!
  5. Very true. Quick question... Does anyone have a Kraven fig yet? If so, could you confirm or deny (or even post a pic) if Joker's hairpiece in black and Zane's hairpiece in black fit with the fur collar on? Thanks in advance.
  6. I could see either of these things working. Personally I would prefer him just having it in his hand for display purposes but anything works so long as we're getting him. (And the smart money is on yes we're most likely getting him) Back on topic though: I'm not liking the inconsistency in Pumpkin Bombs from Lego. I mean it goes from blank with a big flame in Juniors to a nice print with no flame in Mighty Micros to nice print with big flame for Hobgoblin and then awesome print with stuck on flame in the bridge. I prefer the Mighty Micro's print with a 1x1 trans orange round brick with a hole in the middle and then a small flame piece for the torches inside of that but that means buying a Mighty Micro so that Hobgoblin and Green Goblin can match.

  8. Just saw that on Shop @ Home. Weird that one set is being released while August 1st is the release for the rest... But hey I'm not complaining! These $30 sets are so great for the past two years! The new definitive $20 sets imo.
  9. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Doctor-Strange-s-Sanctum-Sanctorum-76060?fromListing=listing From Lego's website: Team up and expel the portal beast from Doctor Strange's mysterious headquarters with some super-heroic supernatural action! Fend it off with Doctor Strange's mystical artifacts, and evade being captured by the portal beast's tentacles using the cape of levitation. Send in Karl Mordo to battle the beast with his quarterstaff, and help The Ancient One strike with the powerful magical fans at her fingertips! Includes 3 minifigures: Doctor Strange, Karl Mordo and The Ancient One. Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum features a portal beast with rotating teeth, moving eyes and tentacles that can trap minifigures, shelves for mystical artifact accessories, levitation effect for 2 minifigures, and levitation function for Doctor Strange's cloak. Weapons include Karl Mordo's quarterstaff and The Ancient One's magical fans with eldritch calligraphy. Accessory elements include Doctor Strange's cloak of levitation and magical power elements with eldritch calligraphy markings. This set offers an age-appropriate building experience for ages 7-14. Sanctum Sanctorum measures over 4” (11cm) high, 12” (31cm) wide and 7” (18cm) deep
  10. Ooh Zod is a good idea too. This set has a lot more too it than meets the eye. Btw, if anyone in Lego is listening... We love location based sets that are still detailed and in decent price point. Keep 'em coming! ;)
  11. Really? I know super jumpers do but these parts too?! That stinks! I'm sorry if any of this is off topic but, I kinda have a MOC with these bars and I'd I wanna make sure it lasts without any unnecessary damage...
  12. These are saving me a bricklink order. I only have one as of now but I really cannot get enough of these pieces. So useful!
  13. Ahh! I was just about to suggest that. Dr. Strange is easily the best figure of the set and one of the best figs, I would say, of the year. And that is saying a lot! Love the bookcases, but I'm a little disappointed about that window though. It'll look a little too open without that box art cityscape.
  14. I agree! Too bad its in green. The hood looks like it will be used again (just speculating) so I'm sure we'll eventually get it in red. :)
  15. Wow! Very cool! Really love how each Mystery Inc. member is investigating a different spooky area!
  16. I understand and completely agree. I personally prefer commentary and analysis on the set as well, it is more than just a "here is the set, you arbitrarily judge it after the fun of building is taken away from the equation." But since it says "review" in the title I thought that I might as well say the same thing. Perhaps "overview" is a better word since a review is a: "formal assessment or examination of something with the possibility or intention of instituting change if necessary," things the video does not offer. In any case, I still agree. Onto the sets though: I still don't really like the tank or the Croc-Mobile and sadly, even the Ra's al Ghul set is losing its appeal (personally). Still on the fence but those figures are still really sick and must haves for the Rouges Gallery. I don't want another Two-Face fiasco where I'm kicking myself to this day for not getting him when I got the chance.
  17. I was one of the first doubting him and now I am one of the first thanking him. So unexpected but so great! And while I'm at it, here is the Killer Croc/Bat-Tank set review from ALF on Youtube:
  18. Ra's al Ghul set review from Gnaat on Flickr:
  19. Legs, arms, and hands come off easily as stated before. For magnets however its hands, arms, and helmets come off. (As do accessories) Using these methods I got me a Boba Fett figure. :)
  20. If you want a BvS Batman but don't want the Batmobile, get the new keychain, take off the key ring part by holding it over a flame and pulling the figure and chain apart slowly and then replace the cowl with a spare one. Or maybe you want Batman's dual molded legs and don't want to buy the Joker's Funland or the Batmobile and don't want to pay $2.22 for just the legs, get the keyring and remove the legs. I will be buying the Finn Keychain removing the chain and the covering the hole with a spare of his hairpiece that I have. Just and PSA to anyone interested. This ans cutting baseplates is about as far away from purist as I get. :)
  21. I agree wholeheartedly! Great MOD/MOC Lego Conductor!
  22. I gave it a watch a couple times just to see how it is and I could happily say that I really enjoyed it. Like, there is a point to each episode. The humor usually lands from what I can tell, the action is great, and the story is well written. Surprisingly sophisticated imo. Two thumbs up from me! That said, due to time constraints I don't really have a drive to watch every episode, but I can totally get behind it.
  23. I don't really care for them but they are very good parts packs. (And I love that Green Goblin Pumpkin Bomb and cartoony Spider-Man face) Either way I'm pretty excited that they're coming back.
  24. Exclusive Supergirl Lego Dimensions figure polybag first look: Credit to delta.customs over on Instagram
  25. That first one is the best imo. :)
