  1. I definitely feel part limited. All the time. I have a VERY small collection, and all of it is new Lego. So I have a very wide array of colours, but few pieces in each colour. So 99% of my MOCs ignore colour. I have very few "special" bricks (hinges, rocking plates, bricks with studs on multiple sides, etc.) so I sometimes just can't do something. Which is frustrating. However, I've found ways of working around most of my limitations. I ignore colour when building in reals. Then, if I like the structure of what I made, I LDD it in proper colours. I build things in really random and inefficient ways because it is the only apparent way. I build things solely on LDD. Honestly, colour isn't a big deal for me. If I could have a bunch of all types of pieces, but only in one colour, I'd do it. -shrug-
  2. Found three light bley 1x2 grille tiles (2412b) outside a thrift shop a day or two back. Also a 2x4 megablock. Didn't pick that one up.
  3. I love that you let Eeyore slouch, it really captures his personality!
  4. Had me excited too... No, I don't think there's been any rumours at all about a new mini modular set. But dear Lego gods, I hope a new one does come! I didn't have the chance to get the last one (currently bricklinking) and I love the scale and style!
  5. Oh, beautiful! One more reason to get that set!
  6. I like the lift truck! I tried making one a while back as well (not in minifig scale though). I want to try again at some point, to make a double picker. I think Technic might be my only recourse though, for some of the action elements I want... (like levering wheels for entering/exiting pallets and appropriate turning with the "power" handle....) I've not seen a sideloader before. But I would love to see a good minifig scale counterbalance or narrow aisle forklift...
  7. I've not yet had anything missing, or horribly mangled, but almost all my headlight bricks are cracked (I think one out out eight isn't), a good chunk of my 1x1 and 1x2 plates and a bunch of my cheeseslopes... All from new. It's very annoying, and I feel like a bother reporting them all. But I want my pieces to be the strongest possible so they last. That's why I pay the premium to use Lego, instead of clones.
  8. I am really happy for the maze- I loved those when I was younger, and I like the idea of making different tops for it... But I wish other sets had been picked, too... The History Museum and the piano! I wish they were still being considered, instead of yet another jet/plane/thing...
  9. Thank you! I really hope to get some more bits that are useful, until then I just play in the land of multicolour! :P
  10. Over the last couple of days I've found a few pieces of Lego on my travels, and I thought it might be interesting to see what others have happened upon over their time. In the park two or three days back I happened upon a dark red 2x2x2 cone (3942c) with a grey flick missile shaft (61184) stuck through it. Then today in a parking lot I found an Elves hair piece, the light blue/darker blue one? (19201pb01). I brought them all home and washed them up; they had obviously lived in those places a while. None of them are damaged (a few tiny scuffs on the cone, and some paint wear on the hair), but they were all quite dirty! So what about everyone else? Any interesting Lego finds in your travels?
  11. I like this set, I want to get it some day soon. Is it bad though that the main reason I want it is the fly? :P I like the eat/poop aspect too, and the chameleon. I wish they had kept the peacock though! It is so much better than the piranha! (In my opinion) But I guess it is too much like an A model...
  12. Hello, this is the first MOC I'm posting here on Eurobricks, and one of my first since leaving the dark ages. I have a lot of interest in making a microscale town, so I made this little street for practice. Here is an overview. I didn't have enough of either grey tiles to make the streets different from the sidewalks ^^;; An angled view, showing the heights, and the little cars better. Everyone here drives red cars as I only have red jumper plates! A front view. A convenience store to the left, apartment building in the middle, and a two story house to the right. (The house was heavily referenced from this wonderful work: https://flic.kr/p/oUxT3F) If I had more straight grey wall elements I would have put a sidewalk/barrier between the road and the river. The apartment is a bit short/small, but has sliding doors for the front lobby, and two little paved yards. You can see a few more views in the album on Flickr. All three buildings are made on 4x4 plates, the entire MOC is on one 8x16 plate. I am thinking I may continue in this scale, or very slightly larger. I hope you like it, I certainly do!
  13. They are lovely! The one I like best is the great green- probably because I love that bird to begin with! But also the fact that it balances on its tail feathers here, it makes me feel like its tail is a waterfall, and it is a giant magical being... But the stand for the crimson is absolutely awesome!
  14. For me, basically just fill out the roster. All parts in all colours. Anything that is lacking a reverse should get one. Those fancy pieces that some people have 3D printed that make stud reversal easier... I dunno though, there is nothing specific that I would fight for at this point, I just want all the pieces they have made in the past to be easily available...
