  1. must be pretty similar if its a re-make of 10188 though...
  2. Any clues where the extra pieces went?
  3. Do you know if it will come with the usual UCS plaque?
  4. I'm hoping its more than $400. It is supposed to be bigger and better. That price is the same as the original 10188; so on that basis the new DS can only be smaller and less pieces - which could affect the playability. I'm still hoping for a $500 set.
  5. I'm hoping for a half sphere plating for display and and open back like the castle. The plating can also flap open to reveal the inner of the front. Like the castle it should have great display possibilities as well as play features.
  6. Anyone notice that the press release suggests age appropriate for 12 years and above but the box is labelled 16 plus. Also the back of the box refers to it as Cinderella castle vs the front as Disney castle. Seems a bit odd and rushed maybe?
  7. Is that based on what you have seen to date?
  8. Agreed. I just remember CM4Sci mentioning that it wouldn't be more than 399. I hope it is at the $500 mark or more!
  9. So are we suggesting the DS is a $500 set or is this just a guess at this time?
  10. I hope we are not. I missed out on 10188
  11. So it may be smaller than the last then?....
  12. Ok. Last DS has 3803 pieces. I think you are telling me it's going to be in the 4500 arena?....
  13. Do we know if the piece count is similar? I had heard it's a bit bigger so I'm surprised it's the same price. Worried that Lego wanted to nail the new castle, so could this be another Star Wars disaster? Avid fans of Lego Star Wars will be very disappointed.
  14. Press release on Monday. 4080 pieces
  15. so fairground is off if Beetle is on - right?
  16. are you sure? Could it be a Star Wars D2C?
