  1. Haha, yes, there is some Snow in the Shop Indeed. I didn't really though of it before. I'll probably fix that soon. Thanks,I though the purple looked actually good. But everybody has his own opinion and that's why I posted here : To get Feedback Anyways thanks alot for speaking your mind , I'm a great fan of yours, especially the HP minifigures
  2. Hi Guys, Cool Contest. I loved the Idea and did some tests and I ENTERED "Mrs Cherry's Christmas Candy Shop." Doesn't that sound Sweet ? Wanna see it ? Check out my entry right HERE
  3. Very Nice
  4. I see I didn't even had to make an entry. We already know you are the winner No just kidding. You are just amazing ! However, It might look a little bit too modern, too new. OMG I LOVE IT !!! Especially the front !
  5. Hello Fellow Eurobrickers. This is the first time I'm doing something else than the Licensed Theme Forum, so for those who don't know me : I'm Geertos13 a Harry Potter fan, MOCer and Brickfilmer. I'm probably not the only one that came up with this idea, and Maybe some people already did it before me for this contest but I didn't take a look at any other entries to be sure I woudn't copy. So I decided to make ( probably the less original creation ever ) : LEGO WINTER VILLAGE : C.C.C.S Mrs Cherry's Christmas Candy Shop. I'm not really into Lego Town/City but I actually loved the idea for the contest and I'm a Building fan So this it. Mrs Cherry's Christmas Candy Shop. I'm proud of it... I think I've respected all of the conditions for this contest. Maybe you woudn't say so, but My creation has more than 500 pieces, especially thanks to the one-by-one slopes I put everywhere kinda randomly. Okay, this building is a little smaller than average but It still is okay. It has a sweet small house and a little fun space. I respected the Sets Structures which both got two or even three parts. In these two official sets, we have one building, a little white space with a few figures and/or a third space as a carriage or the big Christmas Tree. In my Creation we have One building : The Candy Shop ! So here is the inside Yup, It is quite small indeed, but it's a little candy shop, what were you expecting ? Well, yeah, Even I must agree it is pretty smaller than the sets, but that isn't due to the lack of pieces, because I still have hundreds of them. But I didn't want it to be huge. A candy shop must be small and sweet another thing I wanted to keep, is the Light Up Brick Function, that has been in the sets. It's on the roof, unfortunatly it's hidden by the lamp. You can see that the roof is attached to these little pieces that can switch around. If you can push the top of the roof you can make it swing back and the Light-Up brick will touch the wall, and the light will go on. Ingenious Indeed ! A lovely Play Feature for kids Here we have a closer shot. The Food Glorious Food ! And a little VIgnnette in the Top Right Hand Corner, which gives a better look at the Light-Up Brick Function. I added Green and Red round plates to both sides of the door, I think they look and they could look like candy too. In the left hand Corner, we can see some Ice Scream, a lollypop and a chocolate bar. Yummy Now, a Cool little shot of the Second Part of the MOC, The little Snow Yard So, here we can find most of the minifigures. A little family, shopping in the Winter Village and buying Sweet for that angry kid of them. An Old GrandPa, and a random guy with a Horse. Nothing much to say here. The fence in the background is made with simpel brown tiles on these one by one bricks with an extra bump on the the front. Here we have a closer look of the front of the shop with the nice looking Shop Sign. So that's it for my MOC, I've reached my five-pictures-limit I hope you enjoyed it, and Keep Bricking
  6. You Gotta BE JOKING !!! OMG !! LEGO PIRATES OF THE CARRIBBEAN !! A video game, and a minifigure at toy fair, this can't be... We're going to have LEGO Pirates of the caribbean
  7. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
  8. Okay I sure will from now one, I never had an Idea on how to do that
  9. Thanks :D
  10. Humm Too expensive for me... and this sin't the right folder I think... The sell and trade one should be more appropriate
  11. Thank you sir :D
  12. Thanks alot, and stay tuned for part 3 ( part 2 is already up )
  13. Thanks alot KielDaMan, The lightning's always important. It adds a specific feeling everytime. I'm glad you like my build. Don't forget to stay tuned to my new creations
  14. Hi Clone O'Patra I have this set and I am actually quite happy with it. As a brickfilmer Minifigures are very important But anyway, this review was Amazing, as always. It's a shame you stop reviewing these sets. I loved your HP reviews, but hey, all the good things come to an end Well to make it short : You are a fantastic reviewer, and I hope, as many others here, to see you again
  15. Awesome MOC Mister Knight Flare ;) I've wanted that set for quite along time. Especially for the bare and muscled Dastan torso and the Ostrichs. I still don't have the set but who cares ? I like the sand design, and I appreciated you kept the "brick design" instead of putting little flat plates on every single brick. It makes the sand look even more realistic I like it
  16. is working on a new Brickfilm

  17. Hello and Welcome Fellow Eurobrickers. Please take a tour at one of my first creations : The House of Horace Slughorn. This set, again isn't really a MOC but a film set. Still, I see it as a MOC and wanted to share it with you :D HORACE SLUGORN'S 950 Pieces 1 Building 1 Inside Room. THE OUTSIDE Here is the outside, as can be seen in my Brickfilm. When Dumbledore and Harry go visit Horace Slughorn to convince him to come back and teach at Hogwarts. His house looks kinda creepy. As described in the book the door is broken ( Unfortunatly we can't see it well on the picture )and there are some wooden planks in front of the windows to make it look closed and deserted. You'll notice there is a skull in the left hand corner of the picture. It adds some creepiness, and who knows, maybe Professor Slughorn awaits death I always love to put some plants on my buildings. Maybe too much sometimes. I've put way to many trees and stuff in my Diagon Alley MOC. As some of you stated, lamppost would have been more appropriate. However, the dark plants give some even more darker to the whole thing. Especially on the roof and stuff, we have this, natural and wild feeling. THE INSIDE The inside has a quite simpler design. It is a one room space. However there is a little corridor behind the first wall, but these are only for brickfilming purposes. As you can see, it is a very messy place. Blood is falling down from the ceiling and chains are hanging on top of the doors. On the other hand, broken cups and dishes are lying on the floor. The fireplace is empty and icely cold The entire place reeks of death. In the left hand corner of the room an old and dirty armchair can be spotted. I made it whith tan and Dark tan, to make it look "kinda similiar" to the Horace Slughorn Minifigure. It is customed, I made it with Henry Jones Senior's body, a simple lego Light Grey hair and that strange mustache face that we can get in several sets. I think we can get a brown moustache variant in a Star Wars Set, and in the Indiana Jones set. Fortunatly, I have them both, and can alternate the young and old Slughorn, by switching from the grey to the brown mustache. Once Slughorn explained why he was hidding from the Death Eaters. Dumbledore wants to clean everything up. Once he's put on the fireplace, the room gets filled with warm light and the cleaning can begin The last Pictures is a nice little screenshot from my Brickfilm, Slughorn's face is obviously photoshopped but the effect turns out nice. You want to see Slughorn's house come to life ? And do you want to experience the amazing cleaning scene then watch my Brickfilm on Youtube or click the video below So this is it for Slughorn's house, I hope you enjoyed it GOOD POINTS : Spooky Night Lighning BAD POINTS : Now it's your task to decide, what are the good and bad things in this MOC. Speak your mind and help me improve my futher creations Thanks to you all, By Geertos
  18. Thanks :D And yes, it is a big MOC
  19. It is an honor to have people like you, commzetning and actually taking a look at my MOCS. I am a great fan of all your creations, especially your new Hogsmead Creations. Of course it seems a bit empty and whitout action indeed. But it will look better when the minifigures come to life to, with some music and background sounds and stuff. So stay tuned to find out by yourself, once the brickfilm is out
  20. Hey, Cool Brickfilm. I liked Bible/History inspired stories, they're always worth watching. The camera is a bit shaky from time to time, but everything else is very well done. And I know It really needs work, so I do enjoy it even more
  21. Thank you soo much ! As for the pictures, most of them are actually screenshots from the brickfilm. I've studied alot about how to make good shots for movies and stuff, so the "nac for photographing" is actually part of the brickfilming, but thanks anyway. And If you're interrested, I post all the videos on Youtube, and If you have a youtube account, don't hesitate to comment and stuff. Here's my channel Geertos13
  22. Actually, I just took all the piece of my huge collection. So maybe, at the end it took much money. But I didn't buy anything special or seomething for this MOC, so I don't really know how much it was in the end. anyways, glad you liked the MOc and stay tuned for the Brickfilm that comes along.
  23. I think, for the past films, a Black Carriage would be nice, with two thestrals and Harry, Ron adn Hermione. If there are going to make a Ministry of magic, they would have to make a realistic, kinda Hogwarts Castle style set. With two floors. One with the hall of prophecy, with a few magic balls, and the other beeing a random corridor with the statue of the ministry. And on top of the building Sirius's arc. to be realistic, I think the set would come with Harry, Ron, Hermione a Death eater, Lucius Malfoy, ( the death eater are two different characters, But they could alos use the reversal head. ) Voldemort and Dumbledore
  24. No, I'm sorry, the best "high" view I have is the one at the Beginning but that's all.
  25. I don't think so, there is already a great hall with all these things, teacher's table, Slytherina nd gryffindor table with food in the new set. And in that new set is also included a sorting hat so that is just impossible. You just added minifigs
