Okay Maybe I underestimate the work it takes for those reviews, screen shots and everything. It's just that I really enjoy your reviews
-
I hope you haven't forgotten about this ;) There are still some season 2 episodes to do and you need to catch up.

All the sets from late 2008 (only the AAT I think)/early 2009 (like hyena droid, the BPs and the RAS) are set to be discontinued. Many shops don't have them anymore. -

Does anybody have pictures of these? Sounds funny but I never saw them. -
I don't even know exactly when they'll be released here in Germany - it depends on the shop. TRU have new sets very early from what I've heard and amazon.fr is fast as well. Maybe there's an online shop in the UK that sells the sets before christmas.
-
Looks like we're lucky this year! That shop actually starts selling on 10.2.11 - which is about one month after other shops have the sets and about 3 months after some french or czech might have them.

Ventress might die - I personally hate how none of the main antagonists can die due to their presence in ROTS, so it would be nice to see a Sith being finally disposed of. However, I don't think Ahsoka will die. Not because I don't want her to - dozens of cooler Jedi die in ROTS - but because it's a kids show and her original purpose is for the kids to identify themselves with. More likely, Ahsoka will go into exile because... well, that's for Lucas & Co. to decide ;)

1. The Battle for Geonosis as well - I like everything about that set, from the BARC speeder and the minifigs to the great cannon. I hope it won't be too expensive though. 2. Clone Trooper BP - amazing minifigs and a canon vehicle, I really look forward to buying many of these. That might also be all I'm getting - T-6 is too expensive and we'll get the figs in magnet sets anyway, the Halo is just not important enough, the Mandos are nice but kinda useless - I might end up with one BP but who really needs an army of terrorists? The V-Wing is way overprized, and I'll only buy the battle of Naboo if I'm really desperately looking for more droids.
-
Wow, thanks for that link - so we'll see Saesee, Republic Commandos and Adi Gallia again? I hope we'll see a Gallia minifig one day, and of course some Commandoes. On the other hand, in the episodes we already know about (the last one airs in december) there's no sign of Saesee.

How is Clone Wars better than The Clone Wars? But yeah, it looks cool. And we also need a Battle of Kamino set with some ARC Troopers and Aqua Droids, one of the Trident-like attack crafts, and a few clones.
-
Totally my view of things too. Only two episodse in Season 3 really featured the actual Clone Wars (ARC Troopers and 50% of Supply Lines), while the rest seems to lead to more senate/detective work/bounty hunter episodes. Mandalore was pretty lame, and I don't like how the newest episode messes around with the continuity of the series - a season 3 episode that happens before the season 1 finale? A bit of a stretch. Still, I really hope we'll get to Savage Opress (as seen in the trailer)and more clone action soon. LAPR is the best TCW episode so far. ARC Troopers was one of the good ones, but LAPR is one of its kind.

Yavin Rebel Base, with rebel ground personell, rebel troopers, and a new-design Y-Wing. 100€ or more, depending on the size of the actual base. YES, that would be awesome!
-
If you look here, you'll see that there's a figure that looks exactly like Sugi on the Gunship. It even has the "New!"-button, although the more spectacular news in this set is Aurra Sing imo.
-
Yeah, exactly Why not? Make it a bit smaller and it will be ok as a BP vehicle. Or, if that doesn't work, just make it a 20+ euro set, with a bigger speeder and some droids. @neyo: We can't get sets for each CW episode, especially not for the extremely boring ones @JeanBart: A minifig scale Acclamator would be so awesome.
-
How boring just to want a Padme, everybody does.
-
I could see these three happening. The rest, not a chance. But how sweet would Tinn's green Eta-2 Actis be Mandalore needs some sets now, we had 5 episodes taking place there and all we got is the Death Watch (yeah, they are the coolest thing about Mandalore, so that's fine). Satine is too important a character not to be made a minifig some day. Anyways, new idea: Naboo battle pack. Comes with 4 Theed officers and a flash speeder.
-
The carrier looks even worse than on the first pictures The color is quite nice imo, but the design is just...not right. It comes pretty close to the movie version, but still it looks kind of unfinished. Now I really don't think I'll buy this, unless I find myself in desperate need of more battle droids. But thanks for the great pictures as qui gon jinn:thumbup: I like the back of the package - no functions to display, so they just show how awesome new Jar Jar is
-
This clone BP looks amazing! Thanks for the pictures I guess I'll buy four or five of those - three great new minifigs, nice speeder and four real blasters (not just the small ones the commander from the walker BP had). The V-Wing looks nice too, however the pilot's design is a disappointment.

Can you tell us when amazon.fr usually gets new LSW sets? Someone said you can order them from November on...
-
And it also says it's called a Republic Frigate as well. Which is exactly what the rumored set is called. The Geonosis set looks extremely good. Rex, Luminara, BARC speeder and separatist gun - very nice. Can we be sure how much it will cost? @joelego: So amazon.fr got the January sets in November?
-
It's a shame we just got a lego ARC 170 - a TCW one with three of the rare clone pilots would have been awesome. The opening battle was one of the best scenes of the whole season, although the dugs were ridiculously bad fighters. And how stupid is it to use a stun tank against bombers, making them fall down on your troops instead of blowing them up? But we still might get the tank as a set, it is a cool design. The episode got a lot more boring after the opening - the Zillo beast itself is rather stupid, and the discussion was boring. Altogether 7/10 seems just fine.
-
The Geonosians look quite good in TCW. Only the human faces are really bad, I think the Geonosians were computer animated in Ep.II anyway. So if the Lego versions are in the style of TCW they would probably better, as TLG generally improves the design of alien minifigs (Ewoks, GG). Compare this to the AOTC Geonosians, any difference would be lost in the legofying ( ) of the figures anyway.
-
But we usually get reliable information about the summer sets in december/january, right? So there's still plenty of time for CSI work Well, I still like the fact that the Czech list and the blurry photo seem to fit each other quite well.
-
To quote the most important lines: Just curious Greg. If you get to design the preliminary sets would you know the lego star wars sets coming out in august 2011? I DO know. In fact, I'm doing TV commercial storyboards for three of those sets right now! Okay. Here's two of the sets sitting on my desk as I work on a storyboard. So he says the picture is of two sets for which he designs the storyboards, and earlier that he's doing the storyboards for august 2011 sets.
