Hello eurobricks community There has not been too many great reviews for this fantastic set so I decided to do one for you guys! This set is almost a must buy even though it has been retired for quite some time, it's an amazing set and it really pulls you back into your childhood. This set was officially released back in 1998 selling for $20.00! Now a days you can find one in great condition for only $40.00-$50.00! This set was in the Ninja wave or the spinoff of a castle series and it has 198 pieces and 3 minifigures! And without further of do lets dive in! In the middle that is the master samurai, and to the right is the samurai apprentice. As you can tell they all have very nice torso prints and great face prints with a ton of detail! There is absolutely no back printing so there is no need to show you it. I mainly wanted to start out by showing that very nice structure item that is on both sides of the grounds of the stronghold. Such a simple design but yet so effective! This particular trap has 4 1X1 cylinder pieces in light grey that act as rocks. And the point of the trap is to make sure that no one can get through the front gates! WP_20160426_16_53_46_Pro by jameswestman, on Flickr At the very top of the stronghold there is a small balcony where you can pose some figures for play! That flag piece is almost a plastic type material and is very sturdy and strong, will not rip easily! And those light grey fish pieces are simply an amazing mold! We do not see it anymore but that could look good in a ton of MOC's. But in the overall this looks very good! That ruby must be very desired because Bonzsai really wants it! The ruby also has two yellow chalices on either side just for looks or maybe their worth something as well. But this brings on the second and last booby trap of the set! My opinion is that this is a must have set if you like medieval, ninjago, or the oriental johnny thunder theme! For kids this set is a 10/10 for sure! Great play ability with the booby traps, and the ruby! For teenagers it will definitely be a 8/10. I scored it less for teens because its a great set in all but there is not much really here for a teenager but it still looks really sharp! Then for adults it would have to be a 10/10 easily! I love the snakes for sure! Pythor and scales are just amazing villains at least in the rise of the snakes season, but garmadon will forever hold a place in my heart

The green nrg dragon looks fantastic! But the fact that I almost just spent $500 on Lego...I just don't know. Can someone help me out here?

And not just a single wave, to be honest it was almost a disappointment. Especially because kingdoms and castle (before kingdoms) was such great lines with tons of sets

I personally think that flick fire missiles should be discontinued, kids love the new ¨flick" weapons and it goes a lot faster and hits your target almost exact as the flick weapons it was hard to aim with them

That was what I was trying to aim at here. I wanted it to not look out of place with my lion knights castle, and the trap door had to be done. It couldn't be a evil fortress without a trap door to a prison!

Hello Eurobricks community, this is my first MOC and it might very well be my favorite one! Background: I have always been in love with the Kingdoms series and loved every single set they made for it which I think many of you guys can agree on. But I have always had one argument about the theme and that was how there was no proper fortress for the dragon knights, yeah sure you had prison tower rescue, and escape from the dragons prison but those weren't fortresses or castles they were more like a section of a wall with a gate. nothing interesting at all! , So I had a great idea of combining those two sets and making a bigger fortress, all I would have to do is add some pieces to the thing to complete it. So this is my finished product, you will notice those two sets within my fortress. WP_20160423_15_55_40_Pro by jameswestman, on Flickr Right off the bat there she is! You will notice the prison tower rescue is mostly the super structure for the front of the fortress, I did extend out the right side and removed the stairs to the left. It is very similar to the right side but instead on the far right there is the stairs that were in the front of the prison tower rescue, but blocked off and locked by the gate in the set escape from the dragons prison. I did remove the rock that was originally on the prison tower rescue to add a way for the lion knights to get inside the fortress! And you will notice the prison bars built into the rock. Then the very top there is mainly just a watch tower where you can stage some fights or just pose figures.
