Supposing Ari had an important scum PR role, someone behind the scenes could be manipulating William in a last ditch effort to save their teammate. Then they kill William tonight in order to prevent him from revealing his source in the case that Ari gets lynched, which it looks like he will be. With this in mind I would recommend to William that he reveals his "source" to someone he trusts behind the scenes in case he dies tonight. Assuming of course he hadn't thought ahead and already done that.

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
mediumsnowman replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This is true, though there may not be much room with TLJ and Han Solo sets coming in quick succession. -
Glenn, could you please address this point I raised earlier? Why would the investigator choose to contact you, as they have no reason to trust you?
-
Bandwagons almost always form quickly when there's a positive cop result to test.
-
In which case Ari most likely would have claimed as soon as the lynch train started rolling his way.

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
mediumsnowman replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
75021 is one of my absolute favorite sets of all time, if you can find one for a good price absolutely go for it. I don't see Lego returning to AotC or Clone Wars anytime soon. -
The plot thickens... I really don't know what to make of this, William. I say we lynch Shadows today, and if he flips scum we lynch William's source tomorrow. If he flips town, we lynch Glenn's source tomorrow. This of course is assuming William and Glenn are both vanilla town and both telling the truth, and being played behind the scenes. Its also possible Glenn's claim is a gambit to draw the cop out, or one of them is pretending to have been contacted and are in fact the PR they are trying to protect by being their own "source." My vote will remain on Ari for now.
-
So your source contacted you with a scum result on Ari? Interesting. I'm not asking you to reveal your source, because that would be dumb, but why would they contact you, especially as there has only been one opportunity for an investigation, meaning your source can't have cleared you before investigating Ari. Unvote: Glenn Clutch (WhiteFang) Vote: Ari Nougat (Shadows)

Rereading both days, Glenn's wacky behavior is really standing out to me. On Day 1, she sprouted some gems like "Well, I think those who are still lurking behind those curtains and yet not voice out, are my greatest concern." and "To me, lurking is just equal to danger. It's our best bet for Day 1 and in order for us to get some results on Day 2. We need to be pro-active on Day 1. [votes for Fosstud]" (Can't quote because the topic is locked) Glenn hopped on the Fosstud bandwagon after simply reiterating points that others had already made, and contributing nothing of real substance. She begins this day with a near identical version of my thread-opening post. Similarities, even down to word choice, are bolded. Interesting. Then comes this nonsensical exchange and vote, which are summarized neatly by William. Whatever Glenn is trying to say, it makes no sense. Vote: Glenn Clutch (WhiteFang) ....and ignore all the bold in the second batch of quotes. As Ari said, the new forum software is not friendly when it comes to quoting large blocks of text.

I don't know, the last screenplay I wrote, something like "Shields and Snakes," I believe, it's been a long time, featured about this many actors and featured a conversion as a rather prominent plot device.

[MOC] Darth Maul VS Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi Wan

Great detail and shaping on the pit and walls, though I think it would look much nicer with the updated figures from #75169 Duel on Naboo, which is only $20 on Amazon right now!- 3 replies

Unfortunate, though not unsurprising, that Fosstud was one of us. Lack of kills is interesting, to say the least. A game of this size is unlikely to have a vigilante, but it is possible. Either the blocker/protector got lucky, or the scum passed on the kill to perform some other action, such as a recruit. I don't see any reason they would choose not to kill on Night 1.

Good point, we are fast running out of time. I don't like it, but in order to secure a majority, Unvote: Brick Affleck (Actor Builder) Vote: Bob Fosstud (Patrat) Speaking of which, when is lunch?
-
I really agree with Bob here. This lynch train on Fosstud is just too easy. He really doesn't feel like scum, but I would be willing to change my vote to him if we get to the very end of the day and still lack a majority.

Ah, the 'ol switcheroo!
-
Fair points, though my intention is not to distract, but rather to inject some humor into what has a been a rather slow Day 1. I also believe Gopher was the first to place a bandwagon vote on Finn following Brickald's accusation. If it wasn't Day 1, yes, my reasoning would be ridiculous. However, especially in the first hours of voting, you read the character fluff, throw out some votes, see what sticks and how they react. Not overly suspicious.

I'm sorry, I had forgotten that not everyone is able to appreciate art as I do. The egg dream sequence has been considered some of the finest screenwriting I've ever done! This only proves that you have been sent by Burpamount to sow suspicion and discontent among our ranks! May 'Mystery on the Monorail 3' be forever immortalized as one of the finest films ever to emerge from Brickywood.
-
How can you insult one of Brickywood's finest masterpieces? You must be working with Burpamount, denouncing our fantastic filmography and spreading lies! Vote: Brick Affleck (Actor Builder)
-
We better find the Burpamount traitors soon. I don't know how long those Brikka Hut boxes are going to last.

[MOC] Display Stand for 75149 Resistance X-Wing Fighter
mediumsnowman replied to mediumsnowman's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hmm... I haven't had that problem at all with mine, it only tilts if the X-Wing is leaned very far forward or backward. Perhaps you could post some pictures of what you mean? You could also do what I did and brace the stand in one position with one of these: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=41239#T=S&O
