[TC18] Mix of Porsche
Jurss replied to NoEXIST's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I was planning to ask question - why so small picture? but then I checked, that You put them on eurobricks. This file storage is not meant for this. Use for picture hosting bricksafe.com, brickshelf.com or any standard picture hosting, then just post link to picture here, and it will be embedded. -

Jurss replied to Kaanere's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes, but in one of pictures I see, that there are just different connectors or similar unter that panel (3L wide). Yes, and as mentioned, in side pictures there is something blue just behind the steering wheel. -

42111 - Fast & Furious car

I'm really afraid, that steering wheel is not working. If it would be working, then there, where is brake cylinder ond behind it, should be some steering mechanisms. -
42111 - Fast & Furious car
Jurss replied to Kaanere's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I'm afraid no. In side picture there is something like blue color visible just behind the wheel, so there is that blue axlepin. Even in this picture steering wheel is turned the same direction, there are visible different connectors just behind the wheel, trough which axle can have only fixed postition. Hopefully I'm wrong :) Or - that could be also U-joint .... -

And yes, that shock absorber seems to be attached there at the top, near engine, not really good way. And what is tjat bulky thing at rear wheels, facing fron/down, pretty close to the ground? There is some strange construction. -

There could be really shock absorber seen in front wheel arch. But there are no hubs, so those smal T type things could be used for front. -

for me also doesn't seem, that shock absorbers could be connected that way properly. could that wheel thing be somehow spring loaded or something? I think, it is somehow extractable from car. -

For this scale front suspension is more realistic, but then again there will be issues to put some fake negine there. -

This is the size, where normal fake engine is already possible. -

This is how it looks going forward I moved upper swingarms one stud back (it is much, but easyeast for testing), yes, now moving forward is better, but still from "load" bottpm part tends to move sideways (making inclination) And now (of course) going backwards is real pain Maybe I'm wrong, but there is no proper way to solve it, or all the "beauty" of this setup will be lost. OK, going back to something more standard - but I can keep that solution for back.
