  1. Oh, really? I knew it was poor lighting but it looked like light and dark gray to me. I'll reserve judgement until we see a better photo then.
  2. Yeah, not a fan of White Vision. The printed detail is great but I have no idea why LEGO didn't go with a mix of white and light gray which would make more sense. Like other people have said, he just looks dead. And I also expected him to have a more interesting faceprint since he was much nastier than Vision and not quite as emotionless at times (at least in the face). If he has a white cape that might balance the figure out but right now it's another disappointment for me. At least I'll be able to use it as dead Vision I guess.
  3. I think Wanda's level of detailing is perfect. Spidey has a few too many black lines for my liking and Sam Cap is overdetailed IMO. I love how elaborate the figure is in some places but that much side leg printing is total overkill and as others have pointed out, putting most of these next to a figure from a set is going to be laughable. I think Sylvie needed some hip printing but the plain legs are okay. The smiling faces are so stupid though. She really needed an alternate face with green eyes, and I don't understand why she and Wanda couldn't have had more serious smiles. They do smile occasionally, but neither of them ever look that goofy.
  4. Marvel skipped their big Hall H presentation in 2018 and we still got an SDCC set, so one might still come this year. Maybe in November since that's when the Black Widow one released last year and I think that's when the in-person part of SDCC is happening. The only reason I can see SDCC sets/figures not happening is if LEGO decided not to make anything because of COVID still preventing large gatherings.
  5. I'd expect another HP CMF series next year but maybe that won't happen because of this year's D2C. I do think we're due for Disney Series 3, but Marvel Series 2 could fit next year as well if LEGO wants to continue representing the Disney+ shows in CMF series.
  6. I wish we had gotten sets for the Disney+ series. Loki could've filled up an entire CMF series on its own, and I would've loved to see sets based on the TVA, the Void, or the castle from the end of episode 5. I also doubt we'd get a second CMF series next year so I really hope we get sets for shows like Secret Invasion.
  7. I loved Black Widow but yeah, no one should be spoiling it here. The sets we got were good but I do wish the vehicle builds were more accurate to the actual movie. If the SDCC set had been wide released, I wouldn't have any issue with the LEGO Black Widow lineup except for the fact that we never got Melina. It feels weird to only have 3/4 of the family but luckily she's not too difficult to make a purist custom of.
  8. I agree, would've loved to get this Ultron and evil Strange. They would've been a better pick than Zombie Cap IMO. I hate zombies to begin with and it seems like all the Avengers are zombified, so getting Cap in a series with 2 other Caps is boring to me and Ultron would've been a more interesting choice.
  9. What If looks awesome. I understand the choices in the CMF series a bit more now since it looks like we're getting a multiverse Avengers team and we have some of the most important characters in the CMF. It's a shame we didn't get Doctor Strange Supreme or whatever the evil version is called because he looks really cool.
  10. I didn't even notice that Sylvie's arms are dual molded at first. The horns look great but her hair just seems a little flat to me. It's got more volume in the show but on the fig it looks like it did when her hair was wet in episode 4. Would've been nice to get some brown/black mixed with the blonde too but that seems like it would be too difficult so it doesn't matter. I don't think leg printing is super necessary, but this is a $5 CMF series so it kinda stings. It looks especially awkward when there's so much torso detail (arm printing + dual molding) and the legs are so plain. I wish LEGO would print more hip pieces if they won't do the entire leg piece because even that helps. I don't like the face in the picture very much but hopefully she's got a better alternate. I don't know why LEGO keeps making such jovial open-mouthed smiles for these characters, since a closed mouth smile would work better for adult collectors but still show the happiness/kindness of the character or whatever. Spidey looks awesome but I also expected something different since it just looks like a normal Spider-Man to me. The suit is a little bit busy with all the black lines on the blue sections but I love the amount of detail!
  11. We've still got the Eternals sets, which I think are an October 1st release as well.
  12. Wanda looks better from these new angles but the headpiece still sucks. It needs to stick above her hair, not look like it's growing out of it. It would be better if the paint went to the edges but they couldn't even do that. The face is okay, I still hate the goofy open-mouthed smile but the red eyes and smile looks fine. Torso and legs are gorgeous but she needs a skirt even though she's getting a cape. I'm hoping she gets one for Multiverse of Madness since I highly doubt she'll have a new faceprint and there's no chance she gets a better hair mold.
  13. I also just noticed the "inspired by" tag on the Vulture set. Still, I feel absolutely spoiled with three awesome new Spider-Man minifigures in three cheap sets. Vulture and Mysterio are definitely improvements on the past figures, and I was actually planning to MOD Vulture's helmet like that but never got around to it. I just can't get over the incredible detail on the Spidey figures considering these are regular sets! I'm definitely expecting more NWH sets in March though, and on a side note I LOVE the new cape mold for Strange.
  14. HOLY COW!!! Those new Spidey figures are incredible!!!! And a more accurate Vulture and Mysterio??? Take my money!
  15. New Asgard is a cool little display set but overpriced to me. $25 would've been better than $30, and I do wish Miek's body was more interesting although I love the other figures. The Hydra Stomper is a trash build, IMO. I know mechs sell but three mechs of the same size releasing on the same day is total overkill, and this is easily the worst. Bad color choice, bad-looking design, and the head doesn't even cover the minifigure inside. Captain Carter in a stealth suit is frickin' awesome, I love the shield print, and I'm just very glad that we're getting two versions of her and not a repeat of the CMF figure. I don't love the face or the hair, but I'm hoping she'll have a double-sided CMF face with her mask on one side. Red Skull is cool and Steve is okay but I do think he looks a little too old (and conversely, I think Peggy's face makes her look too young and not as tough as she is in the trailers). I'll still get the set because I'm a Marvel completionist, but it's not gonna stay built for more than a couple weeks.
  16. Exactly. Did we know there would be a small crocodile in Loki because of the CMF leak? Yes. It's not hard to just use a spoiler tag for the first day or two so other people won't have cool little surprises ruined for themselves if they want to check a LEGO forum.
  17. If people want back in stock notifications for the Bugle, I highly recommend Brick Hound. I believe it was created by @YetiZombie and I've found it extremely helpful for keeping track of sets that aren't restocked frequently.
  18. There we go! Thorin's crown is exactly the style I wanted for Wanda's hair.
  19. Why can't LEGO just give us a Scarlet Witch minifigure that's not lackluster in some way? The missing skirt, face print, and wrong hair color drag the Endgame figure down and this hairpiece almost ruins the CMF version for me. The rest of the figure is absolutely gorgeous and I'm so impressed with the level of detailing (especially with the inclusion of the dual molded arms), but once again we're missing a skirt. I don't think it's super necessary since she'll have the cape but it's still disappointing. The hairpiece is next-level terrible, though. LEGO has made such intricate, complicated molds for one-off Star Wars characters, and all of a sudden it's impossible to dual mold a crown into wavy hair? This printed version looks bad since you can see a clear outline of hair color around it and it doesn't even attempt to approximate the more delicate shaping and detail of the headpiece in the show. I wasn't expecting something super fine and detailed, but I was expecting a headpiece that stuck out of the hair instead of looking like it's growing out of her forehead, and it should have been more detailed since it's just a print. The face print is also still odd to me but at least the eyebrows and hair color match now. I don't believe that this is the result of CMF budget limitations, either. With a character as underdetailed as Monica and a repeat of Captain Carter, Wanda and Sam Cap should've gotten a disproportionate amount of detail to make up for those figures. I'm hoping the headpiece will look better from other angles and I still have high hopes for some other figures, but this is just another major disappointment from the CMF series after waiting for so long. I hate being so negative but I just don’t understand any of these choices that LEGO made with this series.
  20. Thor's House is such a strange little set. It looks awesome, but I can't believe we're getting a room this detailed outside of the Ideas line. This is exactly what I wanted LEGO to make for WandaVision, but I never thought they'd do a set that's just a small detailed living room. It's nice to be proven wrong, but it would be even nicer if it was the living room I wanted more!
  21. I'm honestly just surprised at the lack of Nebula in general in these Endgame sets. She had a prominent role in the movie and the last figure of her wasn't accurate since it didn't have her orange stripe, so I really would've liked an updated version of her.
  22. I don't think I've ever seen a set leak in worse quality! I guess the build is interesting? Much bigger and brighter than I expected - it kind of reminds me of a larger version of the Throne of Ultron SDCC build. I was expecting an actual structure, like a half-size Privet Drive set, but this makes a lot more sense. As for the Hydra Stomper, the color is just wrong. If LEGO doesn't want to make military sets then don't, but why make a mech in an entirely incorrect color? Olive green would've looked so much better, and I agree with everyone else that these two What If sets are way too similar. I don't think I'd be as annoyed if we got a set for any other Disney+ series, and/or if the CMF series wasn't dominated by What If figures.
  23. The CMF series sounds interesting. I'm also surprised at the level of detail on White Vision, and I understand why Wanda's coming with a cape but the lack of a cloth skirt on either of the new Wanda figures is really bothering me. Hopefully the new hair mold for her will be awesome! Still not happy about Monica since she seems like a wasted spot and I bet she'll be coming in sets next fall anyway. Sam's brick-built wings don't sound great but the rest of the figure does, and I'm intrigued about Lady Loki although the regular Loki fig also sounds a bit boring (except for the Throg piece, of course). Hopefully we start seeing leaks soon.
  24. I didn't realize we'd be getting President Loki, either. I guess I assumed it would be his Avengers 1 outfit or his TVA suit, but the election version makes sense and should hopefully give us a new horn mold. I'm super pumped for Lady Loki though, both in the series and in minifigure form! Can't wait to see what she looks like, and I also can't wait to see the Scarlet Witch figure.
  25. There are pictures out there showing how the minifigures look with the different helmets if you're interested! I made a video about it on my YouTube channel, and honestly I don't love the red lines on the Iron Patriot helmet so I just stuck with the one-piece version. If LEGO makes more variants in the future I hope they stick with the opening helmet and not the newer style.
