  1. And Scarlet Witch!
  2. Disappointing for the Thor face. The torso and hair look great (finally not the blond color for him!) but why would they just reuse the Ragnarok face?? This is what ticks me off about Lego cutting corners.
  3. Falcon and Teen Groot look great. I’m not a huge fan of the shaping on Groot’s head, but maybe I’ll like it better in person. Groot needed leg printing, IMO. Falcon still doesn’t have dual molded arms or leg printing, sadly. I would’ve liked to see him with those.
  4. Perhaps even in Friends sets- they have pin holes and could be put on tables to represent jewelery like a brooch.
  5. Maybe Vision’s stone is never removed in the film so they didn’t make a piece for the Mind Stone in the sets? I think the Gauntlet is amazing for Lego, so much better than a printed bigfig hand and it looks drop dead gorgeous. Could’ve used a bit of printing but the lengths that they went to with the new molds make me okay with no printing. I wish five stones would fit on the front, but Lego can only do so much.
  6. Posting the set accuracy discussion here since it’s mostly 2017 sets. That’s it! Overall, pretty accurate sets!
  7. He didn’t ask about a third wave, he asked when the current waves will be retired. I’m assuming the sets will retire after about a year or a year and a half. We’re coming up on the one year mark for the first wave of Lego Batman Movie sets, but I haven’t heard anything about retirement for them yet.
  8. Clock King confirmed to use the Gingerbread Man head, mariopower on Instagram posted pics of him. The eye holes are on the other side of his head and they’re printed white with cogs and gears inside. Pretty cool!
  9. It’s awesome that you get 4 of each stone in every set with one! Putting them on a round sprue is interesting. I’m assuming they won’t be like the regular plastic then, and more similar to the old flowers and the knife material. The figures should be able to hold the stones (albeit awkwardly) using this piece: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=136032#T=C
  10. His sword kind of looks like a giant butter knife. I love it! I think that’s how the gauntlet will work as well. I love the gauntlet piece! I’m really glad they went with a new mold and new molds for the stones (although I assume figures can’t hold them without one of those 1x1 round tiles with the little bar with a pin hole sticking up). I’m slightly disappointed that you can’t squeeze 5 stones on the front, but they got the general idea across and as long as it can hold all 6 I’m happy!
  11. Like @SpiderJazz just said, another pic of Corvus is out. He seems to be holding a scythe weapon from Ninjago (this piece: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=98141&idColor=115#T=C&C=115). If that's what he gets in the set it's disappointing but it's probably the best choice from existing pieces. I hope he gets a new mold for the weapon, though!
  12. Am I allowed to talk about set accuracy in the spoiler tags here?
  13. Sorry, I meant to say that rob-ot5000 is the one who seemingly confirmed the CMF series back in August. I must have misremembered it as being Sir von Lego.
  14. No, Sir von Lego originally stated that we will for sure be getting a CMF series. The sets were confirmed later.
  15. I would’ve preferred a new head with a different eye design and the eyes being light blue like Iron Man’s.
  16. When is London Toy Fair?
  17. But not all figures need head to toe printing. I don’t think Cap has ever needed leg printing, since his pants barely have any details at all. How would Lego print boots the same color as his pants? Black Widow’s leg printing is definitely not necessary, but it’s nice to have. None of us know how Lego works and chooses to design their figures. The lack of printing could be a financial decision, especially after their profits went down recently. Comparing MCU figures to those seen in the Lego Batman Movie is absolutely ridiculous, since of course Lego will go all out on every figure for a movie they themselves make! They have much to gain or lose depending on how well their own movies do at the box office, but they don’t have anything to gain or lose from the success of an MCU movie. Seeing full printing on figures like Black Panther who really need it would be nice, but I’d rather get a variety of new characters and variants with acceptable to good printing as opposed to old characters with extremely high levels of printing.
  18. I must have been seeing things about the hair, then. I don’t think he needs leg print at all, since it would be black on dark blue and would be barely noticeable. He also doesn’t need rolled up sleeves since we haven’t seen him rocking that look in any part of the movie, only in concept art. The new Black Panther international trailer has a shot of the mine carts, and Lego’s version looks very accurate to the film!
  19. What hairpiece is Nomad using? Is it new? I thought it was the Superman hair at first but it doesn’t look like the Superman hairpiece does, but maybe I’m just seeing things.
  20. Please, no. Steppenwolf looked horrible and very chunky and disproportionate. I would prefer the standard interchangeable bigfig mold with a new shoulder/head part for Cull Obsidian like they usually do. I would love a new mold altogether, but I doubt Lego will go that far when they didn’t even make a new mold for Thanos.
  21. Are we expecting to see these sets revealed at the Toy Fair in February like in 2015?
  22. Why does Cap need printed legs? All he has on his legs are knee pads that are dark blue on top of the dark blue of his suit. Leg printing is completely and totally unnecessary.
  23. I’m kind of hoping for a huge ship (Milano or Sanctuary II) or Avengers Mansion. I think it’s kind of ridiculous how people are judging this entire wave of sets off of half of the figures, especially when they’re pictures taken in poor lighting conditions with huge watermarks.
  24. Plus the D2C figures and whoever wasn’t mentioned in set descriptions.
  25. Barely any of the figures are out. 11 have been leaked but there are so many more coming. Interesting parts are all subjective, and I don’t know why you’re on a Marvel thread looking at Marvel figures if you don’t enjoy superheroes. The different printing designs on these figures are great and very detailed.
