  1. I remember reading one time that the sequel is set around four years after the first Lego movie so Finn's sister is a little older so could it be that this space alien looking thing on the poster is actually a Friends minidoll underneath? Is that supposed to be Emmet's sister?
  2. Oh my god, what's happened to Unikitty? Whoo!
  3. Nice!! I watched the 6 Hours of Spa where this car won in the GTE Pro class. Can't wait to see the final product!
  4. I'll give you my top 5. 1) 2016 Ford GT and 1966 Ford GT40 2) Scuderia Ferrari Truck and F14T 3) Porsche 911 RSR and Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 4) Ferrari FXX-K Development Center 5) McLaren 720S
  5. I would so buy these if they were real! I grew up on the old PS1 so I remember Crash and Spyro. One minifig i'd personally add myself would be "Gran Turismo Driver" It would be a racing driver minifig with black visor in Gran Turismo branded overalls and helmet.
  6. Sweet! I like the way you used the golden blades for the firebird motif on the hood! Great work!
  7. Feng-huang0296 came up with some very good suggestions but I think the Lego character that would fit in a racing movie like this more than anyone else is ROCKET RACER. Especially if The Billion Brick Race ends up being released in 2019 because that's Lego Racers's 20th anniversary. Also, him and Speed Racer could even have a little "Are we related?" sort of moment which would be mind blowing!
  8. That Argos page and the Brick Fan article only have three sets but Brothers-Brick has the others. https://www.brothers-brick.com/2018/01/27/2018-speed-champions-sets-revealed-news/
  9. This obviously isn't a real set. It's a MOC. It's a very good MOC but a MOC nonetheless.
  10. I've just had a thought about the shortened fenders coming in dark green.... At last! I'll finally be able to build this thing: Yes!!
  11. Whale Tail! That's it! Yeah, I want to see how Lego tackled that on the older 911.
  12. Or whatever this spoiler is called:
  13. I understand. I've saved it for now. I'll be waiting for the official images too, I want to see how they did the old 911 Turbo's "Ducktail" spoiler.
  14. Here's my verdict on the sets so far: Mustang: Still kinda disappointed with the lack of GT road car. Oh well. At least they coloured it dark green so I may live out my Lego Bullitt fantasies. Fiesta: Very nice addition! Good to see the SC fenders in dark blue and it's even better to see a way to get the white wheels much easier. And the white wheel covers. I'll be making another rally car or two with them i'll bet. 488 GT3: Meh. I guess it's an ok addition. I can tell straight away that the design is different from the 458 GT2 from 2015. 919 Hybrid: It's different from the 2016 car. The windscreen looks further forward than it does on the old 919 model. Sadly, Porsche have once again pulled out of the WEC so this set makes a nice farewell set. 911s: Good to see an old 911 immortalised in bricks. Is it in lime green too? I kinda predicted the SC fender piece would come in lime. The RSR looks okay too. I like the trackside bit too. Ferrari Garage: Now this is very nice indeed! I love how it uses the newly introduced rollercoaster track pieces to make a thing to drive through and the addition of the 250 and 312T is especially worth mentioning. The 488 GTE can go with the GT3. I mean, the Porsche 911 GT set from 2015 had two different 911 race cars in it but that was a cool set. The way the 250 is made could inspire me to use the dark blue fenders to create a Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. The 312T looks to be Gilles Villeneuve's car. Could take some work to successfully transform it into Niki Lauda's '76 car so I may recreate a scene from Rush but i'll see what I can do.
  15. Looks like there are some new fender pieces too. Look at the ones on the Mustang, 919 and 250 GTO. They look a little shorter in height than the traditional SC fenders.
  16. Can you link me to this image?
  17. Eh? Is there a classic F1 car in the Ultimate Garage set?
  18. I have a very good feeling that the 911 Turbo in the small playset will be old as the title says it's the 911 Turbo 3.0 and when I punched that into Google Images, the whole page was absoloutely flooded with 80's era 911 Turbos. I just wonder how it will compare with the RUF CTR Yellowbird I made last year: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/437101 EDIT: I also wonder if it'll come with some Lego Fuchs alloys too....
  19. Oh right. That I don't know. The Fiesta is the only one leaked so far. I'm still waiting (impatiently I admit.) on the rest of them showing up.
  20. Sadly not, they'll be on sale in March like the previous SC waves were.
  21. https://www.cinemablend.com/television/Speed-Racer-Coming-Back-With-Series-72159.html Thinking what i'm thinking? Hmmm.......
  22. There could be a third car, maybe it just hasn't been identified yet. And the 488 GT "O?" could be the 288 GTO. I mean, there is a 488 GTO coming. But the Speed Champs range works more on cars from the previous year. Like the Ferrari F1 car released this year is the car they raced last year.
  23. That's right, plus, there are only supposed to be 4 stand alone car sets in each SC wave. I have a feeling that the 720S was a one shot deal, meaning that there probably won't be a summer release every year. If that were to happen next year, it'll be the mid size playset. The one that's usually £40-£45.
  24. Then how do we know you're right?
  25. I checked The Brick Fan and couldn't find anything. @Azani, are you absoloutely sure that's the real list? No Ford GT road car?
