Son of a.... Damnit, rushed into things again *smacks self* But is the CTT also less than €150 then? Or is that the same? And does ToysXL have the other sets, or don't they as well? Regards, CF W
-
It was the same at Bart Smit. Slave 1 is a hundred euro's (bought it anyway) I hope the others will arrive soon as well Regards, CF W
-
For the dutch people living in/near The Hague: About a half an hour ago I walked into the Bart Smit Leyweg and they had a lot of the new sets. Though, from Star Wars they only had the Slave 1 and the Clone Turbo Tank. I'm going to check a few other stores to see if they perhaps have the rest of the SW summer line. Regards, CF W

I also bought my first number of the minifig collection. I picked five bags semi-randomly (the shoplady kept watching me, like it was some sort of exciting game so I was distracted) and ended up with: The robot. The magician The caveman (twice) The wrestler

tin7_creations' LEGO X-Men
CF Mitch replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Excellent work again, tin7 Magneto is really recognizable and I love your 'movie versions' of the others. The face with the smirk suits Pietro perfectly. And yes, Tom Felton would be great for him. Wanda and Jubilee are amazing as well. My favorite is Forge, also because I like him as a character has well. I like how you gave him a bird, like most of his other versions (I first saw him in the game X-Men: Next Dimensions, where he looks the coolest, I think). I can't wait for Colossus and Wolverine next time Have a nice vacation Regards, CF W -
7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid. I watched (or played or whatever) something Star Wars somewhere last week and it suddenly made me want the Jet Troopers very much Regards, CF W

tin7_creations' LEGO X-Men
CF Mitch replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Wow, awesome work once again For me there's no use commenting on them individually, they're all equally terrific However I do have a few questions You say Professor Xavier is completely purist. Do you know what set his head came in? And I assume you painted the hair on Jean that color? Great job as usual, can't wait for several other Brotherhood figs [wiseass]Oh and it's 'Mystique' not 'Mystic'. Assuming you mean her [/wiseass] Regards, CF W -
Oh don't worry, I go there all the time (also to Wookiepedia for LSW III, though they have nothing on that yet, and SW: TFU II). But they have quite some news on TF:WfC now, guess I haven't been there for a while. Thanks again CF W

Review - 8095 Grievous Starfighter. by mordatre
CF Mitch replied to mordatre's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow, thanks for this review, mordatre. It's quote elaborate actually, nice work I can't wait for this set, I love the new Grievous, and Nahdar Vebb and the droid (A4-D, I think?) are terrific too. "IT'S A FLAP!" Teeheee, that's hilarious Regards, CF W -
Thanks for the link DarthSion. This 'create your own transformer' thing looks really interesting to me. I just wonder how limited it will be (as in; can you also choose colors and stuff). Also... it's only for multiplayer. But is that online multiplayer or also if you just wanna battle a friend who handles the joystick, sitting next to you? 'Cause I don't do online stuff. I think I missed your previous post, but thanks for those links as well, the pictures are very cool and I can't wait to see what Silverbolt and Brawl look like Regards, CF W

tin7_creations' LEGO X-Men
CF Mitch replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Wow, these are really amazing Great job My two favorites are Cyclops and Gambit. Cyclops because he's also my favorite character (besides Wolverine that is ), and you just made him perfectly like he is in the movies But you're right, Dastan's hair suits Gambit just perfect. I just have one question about Gambit: What's up with the diamond-thingy on top of his staff? Maybe I haven't paid enough attention in the movie, but I really only remember just a long staff when he's fighting Sabretooth and Wolverine. The Blob is also done ingeniously, you gave him the perfect fat look Can't wait for your other creations Regards, CF W -
Today I was looking for a Mother's Day gift in the mall, and while I was in the Blokker, I suddenly saw LEGO City's 3222 Heli & Limo standing in the shelves. I was quite surprised because I didn't expect it to be available this soon. But I bought it right away ^^ And also, today my family from Canada arrived, bringing the two Prince of Persia sets I requested with them, I'll be receiving them later this week, as they're packed somewhere deep inside their luggage Regards, CF W

Well, not to sound like to much of a wiseass But in the first post you can (/could) see a small pic of the MF's involved: Darth Vader, Luke in his Endor-outfit, Imperial Pilot, Imperial Officer. And since the shuttle is also called "Imperial Shuttle" I guess that answers your question Edit: Oops, OneSnowTrooper beat me to it I hope the set won't be big, and therefore expensive, but I'm afraid there's no way around that I'm also still doubting if I should by "Palpatine's Shuttle" because the figs are awesome, but I don't really like the design of the ship Well, guess I'll have to wait 'nd see. Regards, CF W

YES! Mr. Freeze and Two Face, my two favorite villains (besides the Joker of course ) Ah man, this game is gonna be great. I really hope it takes place in a lot of Gotham City itself, and no longer only the Asylum. Thanks for the news! Regards, CF W
-
Oh, it is actually. Or at least, the article describes a scene/event where... *looks up* I really hope that that is an actual level, like you said. And not a cut-scene. Though the article did also say the story would be told more in game, instead of using cut-scenes Regards, CF W

I edited my previous post, with the spoilery storyline of the game. About the powers: Starkiller will gain (at least) two new powers: Jedi Mind Trick: This gives your increases the firepower of your opponent exponentially and then persuades your opponent to start aiming for his buddies Force Fury: This is a kind of boost. For example, when you activated Force Fury, you can use Force Grip to grab not one or two stormtroopers, but an entire squad of 'em. And with Force Push you can push an enemy all the way past the horizon (literally quoted from the article ) With Force Lightning you can barbecue the entire screen (also literally quoted, I think they mean you can also hit the surroundings with it, not just enemies and objects). It also gives you enhanced abilities with your lightsabers (which by the way are two, now) and even let's them spin around you "like a futuristic Kratos" Both sound pretty cool to me So to answer Big Cam's question (sort of) Starkiller still has his Force Lightning Well that was about it, I guess. I can't wait for it to come out, luckily it won't be thát long (compared to, for example SW: ToR) Regards, CF W

Actually, there are a few things known about the story. I found out about it on Wookiepedia, and it was confirmed by a Dutch/Belgian game magazine I read, Chief. They had a four page article about TFU II. But since these things are rather spoilery, I'll post them as spoilers. So read them if you like, just don't blame me if you don't like what you're reading That's all about the story so far. Sounds really cool to me Regards, CF W
-
Hm, yeah. That would be nice, if it were true. Or maybe eventually they'll come out as DLC Regards, CF W

Well, it's a good thing neither are anywhere near my favorite characters, 'cause I can't pre-order at any of those shops. Thanks for the vids though, they look nice. But I gotta say, Jazz looks a little but too much like his "human" version. Demolishor looks nice, though. He reminds me a bit of both Megatron in his RotF tank-form and Batman's Tumbler I hope we get new character news soon Regards, CF W

I voted for Dastan's Hair. That's the only reason I will be buying the two smallest sets. For the figs. I love to collect all kinds of different hair molds, and preferably in a lot of different colors. And would like to have a lot of different fleshie torso's too. Like the bare muscular chest
-
In Holland they won't be available until June But I only need/want two sets (Ostrich Race and Desert Attack) so I'm gonna ask if my great aunt and -uncle from Canada bring them when they come to visit (which is in a few weeks)
-
Thanks for that! It looks very interesting, I wonder how free you are in that "create your own Transformer" thingy. There are also some other interesting vids about TF:WfC. Mainly the "Making of...#1" vid. I can't recall it's exact title but you'll know what I mean when you see it. Man this game is gonna rock, can't wait for it to come out Regards, CF W
-
Awesome! I really like it, Oky. It looks incredibly accurate. My only suggestion would be to make the body (between the head and tail) a bit longer. But other than that it's just perfect The pictures with the 'classical Appa scenes' are terrific as well, I love them A great job on Appa, I hope to see more Avatar MOCs from you Regards, CF W

Favorite Summer Blockbuster Movies/Franchises?
CF Mitch replied to FilmGirl27's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Agreed. I was never a big fan of these characters actually, but since the game Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, it's sequel and the Iron Man movie, I got more and more interested in the whole concept. I also love Tony Stark at the end of The Incredible Hulk: "I'm putting together a team" Other than that... The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Can't wait for it. It's my favorite novel too, so I hope they recreate it as good (though preferably a tad better) as Twilight and New Moon. The A-Team for me too. Not really sure about the characters yet, or how they connect to eachother, but I just gotta see it. Avatar: The Last Airbender is on the list too. A friend and I have already promised eachother we'd go together Again I'm not too sure about the characters, but this time more about how they're -euh, what's it called... projected, I guess, for lack of a better word- in this movie. But the action and the effects seem to be great Like Oky Wan Kenobi I'm also looking forward to Harry Potter and Tron, though they won't be a summer release Regards, CF W -
So... does anyone know if and when these sets will arrive in Holland? I've been asking around at the Intertoys, ToysXL and Bart Smit, but none of them know anything. And they're not on the dutch S@H yet either I'm scared *overreacts * CF W
