Okay... So, last weekend (Saturday, I think) I got an e-mail newsletter from Intertoys, stating the new SW LEGO line will be available 'next week'. I assumed that they meant this week, as I got the mail on Saturday. But I went to the store on Spui in The Hague, and the guy there said that it was actually NEXT week... so starting Monday on the 13th of November. The man also said that if it wouldn't be then, it wouldn't arrive till January. But that might be specific to Intertoys and maybe even that location. I hope that all made a bit sense Anyway, I can't wait for next week Regards, CF W

Not yet, but I might next week (I'll explain in the availability-topic) Regards, CF W

Which is your favourite upcoming Lego minifigure in 2011?
CF Mitch replied to commanderneyo's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Same for me It was gonna be one of the figs from the Clone Trooper BP anyway... -
So... It's been a while since I bought something, so automatically it's also been some time since I posted here [/Captain Obvious] Anyhoo, A couple of weeks ago I went to the Vroom&Dreesmann with my sister and to our surprise we saw the City Advent Calendar standing in the shelves I've never seen any advent calender in a shop... let alone in a shop in the Netherlands. But it didn't look really interesting to me, so I didn't take it after all. Today I went back there, as I had a sticker to put on a LEGO set, to get 15% discount. Then, again to my surprise, I saw that they also have the Castle Advent Calendar. Thát one I (almost) immediately snatched from the shelve. Put the sticker on it while walking to the cash register and payed for it Now I have to be patient, till December the 1st Regards, CF W

Wow, thanks for the news DarthSion. Part of me is really excited about it, as the game really was awesome. But like simonjedi stated, what will it be about? Maybe they'll have to make a pit stop on another planet Regards, CF W

Whoohoooo!! Thanks for all the amazing pictures, Navy Trooper Fenson and prateek I'm still loving the ones I loved before as well, the Clone BP, Mandolorian BP and the Imperial V-Wing. Too bad the Bomb Squad Troopers (that's probably not their official name) aren't a little less brighter orange, so they could fit with Commander Cody, but they're still really cool. The ARF-trooper is amazing as well. I will buy definitely two of the Clone BP. I don't really mind that all the Mando's have the same torso's or helmets. They're just awesome But I will only buy one of these. I want them mainly so I can get myself a decent Jango Fett (by MOC-ing the fig, of course). I like the fact that the V-Wing pilot is just a black version of the ARC-pilot. Looks really cool to me I was also thinking about getting the T6 Jedi Shuttle. But that was only for the amazing, cool new figs. But now that there are only two of them it just doesn't outweigh the ugliness of the vehicle, and the fact that I don't have the room for it anymore. Such a shame, though Regards, CF W

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
CF Mitch replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Yaay, that's 6 days after my birthday Still, quite a long wait, though Thanks for the news, Professor Flitwick -
Okay, I think it's about time I tell you my experience with this game. First of all I'd like to state that, the reason I waited this long is because I didn't want to admit that the game wasn't nearly as awesome as I expected. And writing this all down, Ãs admitting that I didn't like it so much. So, here goes... I got the game a day early. Thursday the 28th I got a call from the game store where I reserved the game, while the game's official release date in Europe was the 29th. Anyhoo, I played it right when I was home. Of course I loved it immediately. The gameplay is awesome, with the dual lightsabers and the force powers. But, like most of you, the length of the game really saddens me There are, I believe, less levels than in the first game and they're all a lot shorter too. And there are also only, like, three locations? What the heck is up with that The storyline was pretty cool, except for the fact that I still don't know (for sure) whether this Starkiller was a clone or not. I guess it can be said that he Ãs, especially when you consider the dark side, non-canon ending but it was never specifically mentioned. I mean, obviously Kota was wrong in saying that Jedi can't be cloned, but that still doesn't prove Starkiller was a clone, right? And why the hell was Boba Fett in it? I liked his appearance, and especially the fact that he was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker (or something? ), which gave a nice sense of familiarity, and it made sense when you link it to the TCW-series. But he was there for such a short moment, we never even got to fight him. What else I don't like is, like DarthSion mentioned, the fact that you can't see how many holocrons you've already found, and how much you still need. Nor do I like the fact that you have to have Gold at every challenge, in order to unlock the other costumes and lightsaber crystals... Oh well, that's about it I guess... Regards, CF W

Hahahaha, that's hilarious I loved the one from General Veers. When Vader said something like "I'm gonna force choke you all at work tomorrow [...] never mind, I think I can just do it from here" And then Tarkin at the end "ROFL" xD Regards, CF W

Boba was, indeed, a clone that grew on a normal pace. At the request of Jango. The other clones grew, I think, a bit faster than twice as fast. Or at least some point in the war they did, 'cause they were suffering severe casualties. As for Starkiller's clones, they had to be full grown within six months. As I read that TFU II takes place about six months after the original, so.. Regards, CF W

WOW! Now thát was epic I wonder what planet that was on. At first I thought it was Endor, but I don't think it snows there I also loved how the 'Imperial march'-tune started when Galen ignited his lightsabers Just two more weeks to goooo Regards, CF W

Interesting topic, I like it After quite a long thought, here's my list (#1 being the one I want most, and #1 being the one I want least of those four, but I still want that alot too :P) 1: Non-CW Senator/Supreme Chancelor Palpatine (to create my own 'Arrest of Palpatine' scene ) 2: Non-CW Ki-Adi Mundi (that guy is cool. And I thought his Order 66 scene was so sad... I'd like to recreate that in his honor) 3: Non-CW Mace Windu 4: Jango Fett (like someone said as well; in the new Boba Fett style) As you can see I've specified I want them all in non-CW versions. I have nothing against the series or the way the figs look like, in general. It's just that they look too different from the regular figs. And I was already bummed out when TLC changed the figs from standard yellow to fleshies, I'm used to that now, but the CW's still differ too much, in my opinion So much for my rambling Regards, CF W

Wow, that clips is pretty cool. Can't wait to see what he'll be doing to them Thanks for that, DarthSion And, Jammiedodger714, I assume that the demo will be out September 26th then. Or at least somewhere around that date. Sorry if that wasn't much help Regards, CF W

Went to the ToysXL today. They had the Harry Potter LEGO already I bought the 4840, The Burrow I'm building it right now Regards, CF W

This is a really great vig, Jammiedodger714. I like all the details that really make it feel like ACII. Especially the 'wanted'-poster that Ezio can rip off, if he doesn't run past it But, indeed, the pigeons and the very annoying musicians are a great touch as well I hope the folder is public soon, 'cause I want to see your Ezio a little more up close. Regards, CF W
-
Wow, that was cool Not a lot of new info really, but they showed a lot of cool stuff, like the level where you have to fight the Gorog. Thanks for the vid, DarthSion Regards, CF W

Though not in Star Wars LEGO, there are minifigs that have orange hips and white legs. Namely the one from Space a few years ago. Mars Mission? The one that had the jellies as bad guys. The good guys had orange printing on their torso, and the orange hips And I've been doubting as to whether or not I should get the Jedi Shuttle. I think the vehicle itself is.... butt-ugly. And it's a bit large for the little amount of space I have left in my room. So all I would buy it for is the figs and... 70 euros a bit much for that Ah well, I'll stick to the BP's first, maybe I'll buy the T6 later on... Regards, CF W

Well, in the case of the characters will appear in other books, I have no idea. Sorry. But I do know that "Deceived" will be a prequel to "Fatal Alliance" but I'm not sure that means we will see the characters of FA in it And the only possible ancestor I can think of for Satele Shan, would be Revan. But since Bastilla was a very strict Jedi, it doesn't seem she would've hooked up with him, so... Regards, CF W

And, with Maul and Mas Amedda, I think he just put up with them, to better help his own grand scheme. Besides, I think he knew Maul would be killed anyway... And, of course, as a senator and later Supreme Chancelor, he has to show pretences of liking them Regards, CF W

Bought some more collectible figs. Thank God not another lifeguard What I did get: Surfer Circus boss (my 2nd) Regards, CF W

Not too mention Palpatine's hatred of any and all alien species. Which is also why the Empire, and of course Palpatine as Emperor, is loathed so much.

I think it's very possible we will come across some of the characters in the game. If that's what you mean at least. At least Satale Shan (who is indeed related to Bastila), since she is a Grand Master of the Jedi Council, so you may get some quests for her or something. And there is a small profile of her, on the game's official website, so I'd say she's a pretty important character. And the novel from Paul Kemp, would that be "Deceived", about Darth Malgus from the CGI trailer also called 'Deceived', or the third novel in the making, that has no title and stuff yet? Regards, CF W
