I wouldn't go that far, personally. Especially since this is the first where I, myself, actually notice a big difference. Never really had a 'problem' with the previous versions. I don't mind the same helmet either. It makes sense they use that one since the real helmet looks almost the same as most pervious others too, in my opinion. It's really the torso and legs that bother me. I just feel the metallic silver doesn't stand out enough compared to the movie version. Oh well... Like you say, I'll get it anyway Regards, Mitch

I have to say... I kinda feel this minifigure doesn't do the actual movie version justice. I think it would've been better if they had done red printing on metallic silver legs and torso, since that color seems to have the upper hand on the suit. Other than that, it's still very cool and I'll definitely want to add it to my collection. Same goes for the figures in the Thor: Ragnarok sets. Great stuff Regards, Mitch

I think he means it might be that it won't include all of those characters... Or, yes, indeed, none of those. Considering it's all rumors and such, at the moment.. Regards, Mitch

Ugh, I keep forgetting about the raised 'normal' prices, damnit Also, about Thrawn, I'm considering adding yellow epaullettes (spellcheck?) to make him slightly more accurate. Regards, Mitch

The Dutch toystores Bart Smit (http://www.bartsmit.com/nl/bsnl/speelgoed/lego/lego-star-wars) and Intertoys (http://www.intertoys.nl/lego/lego-starwars) have the new sets on their webshop! With 15% discount! Ahem... *calms down* It's shopping night over here, so I think I'll go check out if they're in the actual stores as well. God, I hope they are Regards, Mitch

TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT GOOD OR BAD?
CF Mitch replied to LegoRomania's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I'm with you on most of what you just said, LegoRomania. For me, the appeal of the TF movies are transformers, their vehicle modes (Sideswipe from RotF ) and the transforming sequences. I hope they stick to the classic transformation in The Last Knight. Not that weird stuff from AoE Also, sometimes the human characters aren't that bad. I like Cade and Tessa as well. I wonder why she's not in it Speaking of which, I've seen the trailer now. Doesn't look bad, but not a lot yet that makes me go "whoa, awesome!". It raises a lot of questions though, so for now that's my reason watch the movie when it appears Regards, Mitch -
TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT GOOD OR BAD?
CF Mitch replied to LegoRomania's topic in Culture & Multimedia
That's exactly what I was thinking! I was like, "whoa, you got a lot of nerve". I haven't seen the TF5 trailer yet, to be honest, but for me it's the same. The Transformers film series so far is enjoyable, though usually 3 quarters is bad while the good quarter is really good, so... I do own all 4 on dvd. I'm a big fan of the music as well. I do have some expectations for this movie however, although I'm not sure about the return of John Torturro's character and that Lennox guy... if they already feeel the need to 'bring back former popular characters to increase popularity... Regards, Mitch -
PICTURES, BABY!! I knew TLG wouldn't let us down; Thrawn has red eyes, excellent! The Landspeeder doesn't provide anything new for me. Except a Tusken Raider, but I can always get those from Bricklink. Same with the Skiff. Great that Han's new hair comes with it, though. I really want that, and now it'll be available on BL cheaper, I hope.. I'm really glad Qui-Gon Jinn has a new faceprint. It's much more accurate than the last.. three or something versions. My favorite is still the very first, only in flesh, and this one resembles that more closely. Love it I don't really care for the A-Wing, but Lando Calrissian looks nice. Might purchase him seperately. Regards, Mitch

Review | LEGO 75171 Star Wars ● Battle on Scarif
CF Mitch replied to Brick Ministry's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for posting the review! I'll definitely get this set now. Great figures and there are some really nice play features if you ask me Regards, Mitch -
Ooh, thanks for the info! Do you happen to know which store(s) this goes for? Or is this a general thing, so all stores that sell LEGO? Regards, Mitch

Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special Edition. God I love games like this... I can get really immersed into the game and just do whatever I want. I've hardly done any main quests, aside from the first three or four It's just so much fun to simply run around and explore locations and stuff like that Pokemon Sun and Uncharted 4 are on my waiting list And I'm thinking of buying the Assassin's Creed Ezio Collection for PS4, but that can wait, so.. Regards, Mitch
-
I really don't see any difference as well. So even if there is any, I suppose it's minor and something I can live with. But like Legocity2713 says, this version has been in five sets, including this year's Advent Calendar and the latest Death Star. It would seem a bit odd if they'd change the design right now.. Especially since this design perfect, in my opinion (and many others', I believe). Regards, Mitch
-
It wasn't my post or complaint, so don't worry I'm not too bothered by it either, since I already own the two from Krennic's Shuttle I agree it would be a rather big fault on TLG's part to miss out on Thrawn's red eyes.. Regards, Mitch
-
They weren't complaining about the plain stormtroopers, but about how 'plain' the deathtroopers in the BP are compared to their version in this year's Krennic's Shuttle I don't mind, though. I'm satisfied with the fact that the regular stormtroopers are the same as the 2014 versions, that came with that year's Imperial Star Destroyer. I believe the stormtrooper in the Scarif set is the same as well. Awesomeness Also, regarding Thrawn's Face... surely his blue eyes are just a result of the picture quality? The face looks incredibly plain at the moment, even if the person's eyes weren't supposed to be red... Like all of you I hope that gets 'resolved', otherwise that set will be a pass for me after all. Regards, Mitch

Whooo!! Thanks for posting the link! The Hulk vs Red Hulk set was already known of course and don't appeal to me in the slightest, except for the Red Hulk bigfig. That Captain America's Jet Pursuit set... wow the jet itself doesn't look too bad, but kinda... kiddie-like. Pilot Cap is.. okay-ish. The others don't interest me at all, so I'll pass. Now, the Detroit Steel Strikes set: not a fan of the mech, but I'll take it, considering the rest of the set is really amazing. Lola, Coulson and the new Iron Man minifig. Though that helmet feels kind of... off. You just can't get that streamlined look on a rounded helmet like that. Oh, well... The head on Justin Hammer is nice too. So yeah, of these Marvel sets, this'll be the only one I'll definitely pick up Regards, Mitch

Yes! Pictuuuures!! A lot of the sets look really great. Won't be buying Yoda's Starfighter, though it does look cute Will definitely purchase at least one Imperial Battlepack. Can never have too many Stormtroopers, and those Deathtroopers are quite nice too. I think I'll also buy the Duel on Naboo. I desperately need to update my Qui-Gon Jinn and TPM Obi-Wan, and the structure looks pretty good actually. Not too sure on the Phantom yet.. the figures are definitely terrific, but I'm not too impressed with the vehicle, so... Battle on Scarif looks really cool in my opinion, but again I'm not sure if I'll end up buying it. Since I have absolutely no interest in the Y-Wing (though that Mon Cal and the white creature do look very nice!) and the buildable figures, so that's it for me Regards, Mitch
-
Agreed. At least regarding buildable figures with human faces. Jango Fett and Commander Cody look very cool to me. General Grievous as well. Yoda's Starfighter actually looks very nice, in my opinion. I don't really care what version Yoda it comes with, but preferable a PT-version. The same one that was in Duel on Geonosis. Though perhaps with a different torso Regards, Mitch
-
Why that emote? I agree with Tupiaz about the intended cartoony-ness. ThoughI also agree with you, ro-bot5000, about hoping the ANAD version looks a lot better. In fact, I'd actually prefer the usual Iron Man helmet, but oh well... Also, can it now be assumed that Mighty Micros Tony no longer comes with the new Superman-hair in black? 'cause that's really too bad... Regards, Mitch

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game Discussion
CF Mitch replied to npgcole's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Oh, Escape From Starkiller Base is out too? Awesome! First Order Siege of Takodana was great! I loved how Kylo Ren used the Force to observe all kinds of gigantically obvious things Thanks for notifiying! I don't believe anymore DLC was in the planning for this game, was there? Wow, awesome Blackbird! You've recreated the form and shape perfectly, in my opinion! My only gripe is the windscreen color, but that's nothing more than personal taste, so don't pay too much attention to it And I do kind of agree with ToaDraco's interior color suggestions as well But it's cool that your Blackbird has this big an interior at all. Really, great job! Regards, Mitch

Exactly. Personally, I don't care what it is or isn't based on. It has a cool vehicle, two cool characters and, in my opinion, one less-than-interesting mech. Like a lot of people, I've been waiting for a Coulson minifig for a long time and the new Iron Man armor sounds great as well. Lola seems like a great addition to me and I'd be satisfied if it looked like the green S.H.I.E.L.D flying car from the USM set, only in red. Regards, Mitch
