  1. Not necessarily. If TLG only got veeerry early concept art (which does seem to be the case), they still had a lot to work with. And even if there was early concept art for the normal suits, Marvel probably decided not to share that either. Regards, Mitch
  2. Interesting topic! I don't believe that's the case for me, though. I always feel drawn to a LEGO set or entire line because it's a representation of something I already like. Though you could say, for example, I got interested in more aspects of a certain 'universe'/franchise because of LEGO. Like LEGO Star Wars for example, where occasionally sets were released that don't have anything to do with the movies I was familiar with, like that TIE Crawler, and then I'd look things up about it and I'd gotten interested its source material and such. Regards, Mitch
  3. In general, this sums it up pretty well for me. Comparing the sets to the movie, this is how I feel: Regards, Mitch
  4. No, I get that last part, just was curious regarding the official sounding statement. So, thanks Regards, Mitch
  5. Wait, are you saying TLG at some point officially stated they won't produce a 501st battlepack, ever? Regards, Mitch
  6. Figured as much. But let's wait and see for clearer picture Thanks for sharing! Regards, Mitch
  7. Oh, good! Does he have a different face and hair as well? 'Cause, in the Ahch-To Training set, those weren't exactly accurate to the movie either, so I'm hoping there might be a bit more (dark) gray in that as well... Regards, Mitch
  8. I think I might just replace the legs for pearl gold legs. That might look good enough for me. Have to get my hands on a single Mk85 though, they're still somewhat pricey. Chances are price won't drop much, though, I'm afraid... Regards, Mitch
  9. Yeah, I saw a few things too, I was SO pissed off about it. Won't be Instagramming anymore till I've seen Endgame. I know it's just 'out of context' pictures, but some say enough already and I even avoid trailers so far. That's how little I want to know beforehand... I support this as well! Thank you. Regards, Mitch
  10. That's what I kinda figured, yeah... Thanks for letting me know Guess I'll just buy the head and the headgear to be safe. Regards, Mitch
  11. Oh, yeah. I'm definitely getting this set. Price seems to be somewhere between 200 and 220 euros, I find that quite reasonable for a set like this. It's a good size, looks accurate and has a great minifigure selection. Just gotta BL a few extra Rebel Fleet Troopers to go with it Regards, Mitch
  12. Wow, this is very nicely done! It took me a while to realize what the most-right was supposed to be, but other than that it's all very recognizable. Awesome creation! Regards, Mitch
  13. Nice review, thank you! I do have one question: Does the Cap headpiece fit well on previous Captain America heads, or is it really only compatible with this one? Thanks in advance! Regards, Mitch
  14. Huh, indeed it does. Thank you! I'm still not sure about the engines, though, those look rather crowded to me, with the black ends. I'll just wait for better pictures, including pictures of the minifigures. I completely forgot about Bail Organa, but his addition also makes it more of a must-have for me. I didn't get the previous Tantive IV in that time because I wasn't that into OT vehicles then, but I'm warming up to them and this one is such an iconic vehicle, so I'll definitely consider it now. Regards, Mitch
  15. I got my hands on the Hall of Armour and War Machine Buster, the day before yesterday. The Buster isn't the greatest, but it still looks very cool. Really love the Hall, I fitted all the Iron Man armors I have in it right away, and then I found I don't have enough pods So I BL'd seperate parts to make 4 extra pods. They should arrive tomorrow Gonna BL Mk85 too, when it starts to show up, and isn't too pricey (though I suppose it will be?) Regards, Mitch
  16. The Dutch S@H doesn't have them yet, either. Neither does Intertoys or anything (webshop at least). A-Tembo does, though, and they sell LEGO at lower prices than usual, so I ordered them there Regards, Mitch
  17. Thanks for the tip Will be looking tomorrow right away Regards, Mitch
  18. You have them already? Which store and city? Actually, Ob-Wan's Jedi Interceptor is 75135 Regards, Mitch
  19. This definitely sums it up for me. They're all very interesting, but with some very weird aspects. The Batcave has a nice selection of 'trophies' Batman collects, only smaller (the dinosaur and giant coin for example), but the rest of the build doesn't really interest me (of course, we haven't seen everything yet). I'm not sure about Clayface, he looks odd but also it fits him, somehow. I do prefer the version from TLBM. Batman & Robin vs. Mr. Freeze is quite a disappointment. Mr. Freeze is really weird. Is that a new Rebirth design or something? Interesting use of the Mysterio helmet though, has a nice effect on the head The Batmobile looks really great, indeed a minifig scale version of that '06 UCS and a nice reference to Tim Burton's Batman movie if you ask me. The Batwing set is the nicest, I think as it has the most interesting figures, namely Detective Gordon and Shazam. Love that police car as well. The Batwing itself and the helicopter and are meh, though. Wonder that the D2C will be! Regards, Mitch
  20. I agree, that would be very fitting! Might try to get my hands on that cape Regards, Mitch
  21. Argh! Well, good for you, that you managed to get your hands on those sets already Regards, Mitch
  22. Are you Dutch by any chance? Haven't seen any in the Intertoys stores here, yet.. Getting excited for them though! Regards, Mitch
  23. Aren't you the optimist Looking forward to seeing pictures of the Mr. Freeze from the upcoming set. Even though I just BL'd the parts to make my own preferred version (B:TAS design) Regards, Mitch
  24. There is a Juniors set with Iron Man and Loki as well, and that armor looks a lot like the Mk 7, even though Brickset and Bricklink don't identify it as such. Oh, no! Really? That sucks... that legoleaks hashtag thing is getting out of hand. It's ridiculous... Regards, Mitch
  25. I am already displaying them by the Malibu Mansion, which itself is currently cramped with all the Iron Man Armors. When I have the Hall of Armor set, they will also be displayed, probably somewhere next to the half-circle I intend to make. Damn, that's actually a very good theory as to why there hasn't been a Mk 48... Regards, Mitch
