  1. Nice new leaks, those heads. Hawkeye looks great, and I kinda hope the bearded head is a comic Thor, though it might (indeed) very well be Obi-Wan. No matter either way, I'll want it anyhow. Regarding the head that is supposedly Captain America's, I'm sure it'll end up a cool minifig, no matter what it's inspired by; Avengers Assemble, MCU, comics... Can't wait to see more pictures soon Regards, Mitch
  2. I don't know, they might end up with some really cool Star Wars-esque names, though. But I agree it's not a neccesity. Good to know the Falcon from Solo is going into retirement, I've still been meaning to get it but hesitant so far. Figure-wise it holds nothing for me, but it's nice to have the 'mint' version and the classic, 'pretty much complete opposite' of it... Regards, Mitch
  3. I dunno, everything else besides the belt buckle looks quite 'regular' to me, so I don't think it will be for a SW minifig. About the Force Ghosts, I don't think they'll done properly if they're not entirely transparent pieces. I think it can definitely happen in the future, but a very long while from now. Regards, Mitch
  4. For example, yeah. Though I think, shape-wise the first Iron Man helmet might be a bit better, what with it becoming narrower by the chin. Though considering Deathstroke's mask/helmet doesn't open (let alone by tilting the face plate), a new mold might be preferred. Regards, Mitch
  5. No problem! About Deathstroke, I think I'd prefer a version of him with the bigger helmet, like in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and the accompanying 'The Squad' DLC, I always thought it looked very cool Regards, Mitch
  6. No, I know that, which is why I didn't say they'd be calling it that, I meant more that it might end up like one. As in, having weird (and, in my opinion needless) variants of (already existing) characters that are mainly Batman-related. I don't think it will happen, but considering the past, I'm not ruling it out either. Regards, Mitch
  7. True, but I was actually referring Batman & co. being the money makers in general compared to other heroes and their allies and enemies. Since that's who most sets and figures are based, I'm kinda hoping LEGO will make the DC CMF far less Batman-related. Having said that, I wouldn't mind a Batman Beyond suit and a senior Bruce Wayne for example. Some of Batman's villains in B:TAS style would also be welcome (Mr. Freeze ). Regards, Mitch
  8. The Thanos minifig head looks nice, I wonder what it means regarding the sets rumored(?) for October/November. As many already stated, it could still be for an Endgame set (the use of an Axl type body configuration could still end up very nice), but I think a comic related set could also be very nice for a change, not to mention bring some other interesting figs. Regards, Mitch
  9. Exactly! But not just Bats himself (who, admittedly, still has several suits which could be made into LEGO), but all those crazy versions of Alfred, the Joker and Harley as well (to name a few). Which were all based on TLBM, I realize (speaking specifically of CMF's now), but that's why I hope the upcoming DC CMF series will be much more general comics based. Regards, Mitch
  10. I totally agree. The previous DC-related CMF's were 90% Batman and co. related, and a lot of crazy variants. So, hopefully the upcoming CMF wave will contribute variants of other major heroes and their allies & adversaries. There are still some Superman suits they could do and quite a few Green Lanterns and such. Preferably nothing Batman related at all, I've pretty much had enough of that, to be honest. Still, I'm looking cautiously looking forward to this, 'cause we all know LEGO could have decided to go for the money-maker and practically just make this a third TLBM wave. Regards, Mitch
  11. Was just about to share this, should've known I'd be beaten to it But great news, if it turns out to be true! (Not doubting Mini_legogo, but he/she could be misinformed as well). Regards, Mitch
  12. Sounds very plausible, and I think it might actually look good. It doesn't have to be very elaborate, though I would like it if there were some bars/bridges-type for the duelists to balance on, like in the scene. But they'll probably go for more of a 'high ground'-type scenario, like they did with the 9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor. Regards, Mitch
  13. Saw the new Knights of Ren figs as well, this morning, and I think they look really great. That other Mandalorian torso that showed up looks promising as well. Got a feeling we'll be getting some very good sets coming up, be it near Autumn of nearer the end of the year/early next year Regards, Mitch
  14. Thanks for the tip! Obi-Wan has a new torso as well, so that's a nice addition Nice to see the Tusken Raider is updated as well, though the previous variant wasn't bad either, in my opinion. I can't spot any difference on R2, but that's just because I don't pay that much attention to detail Regards, Mitch
  15. Wow, nice news! Great to see Ben's Hut. The interior is somewhat cramped and not very interesting, but all in all it seems like a good set, what with the Leia hologram and the training droid. Hopefully Ben has a new torso, since he isn't wearing his cloak in this version. And, it has a Tusken Raider, which I don't have yet, so yay! I don't really get the landspeeder, but oh well. The poncho does look fun, but other than that it has nothing of interest for me. Well, maybe the Jawa, of which I don't own any yet either. Also, it's two Luke's in one line/range, also somewhat overkill in my opinion. Regards, Mitch
  16. Damn, that's a good idea for the arms! I actually made a purist Phase II Cody as well, though not as expansive yet. I just swapped helmets and added a white pauldron from a stormtrooper somewhere. So, not very accurate either I'll be looking into the suggestions from this topic, now. It really is too bad there's no orange visor-thingy. Hopefully LEGO comes with an official fig though, someday. Thanks! Regards, Mitch
  17. Oh, right, the Knight Bus! Yeah, that one was missing at Intertoys, then... Thanks for the info Regards, Mitch
  18. Just visited Intertoys in the city centre of The Hague, and they have the new sets, for fellow Dutchmen who want to know. The ones I saw were (not official names, but you get them, right?) : Hagrid's Hut Clocktower Triwizard First Task Expecto Patronum Those are all the new expected ones, yes? Regards, Mitch
  19. It actually wasn't that bad Anyhoo, regarding the pod doors, your suggestion to include several tiles with stickers/prints sounds excellent Regards, Mitch
  20. Holy moly, these are just fantastic! I've actually started watching the show again, this weekend (beginning with that live-action movie ) and your models are so incredibly accurate. I like the playfeatures you've incorporated, especially the docking capability of TB3 with TB5. Just one question: does TB2 come with an extra Pod 4, to carry TB4? Or, more practically perhaps, an extra pod door with the number '4' on it... Good luck with your IDEAS submission! Regards, Mitch
  21. Ah, I see. Thanks for explaining. Like I said, those backstories sound really amazing. I remember making a custom Darth Vader minifig in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which would be a version of Vader without the suit and helmet (a.k.a, he didn't lose the battle at Mustafar, or at least didn't end up taking a lava bath), and I believe it was quite similar to this Emperor Vader, including a beard Anyhoo, great work, once again! Regards, mitch
  22. To be honest, IF they ever make a Doomsday, I hope they won't make it like the one from LDCSV, with the containment suit. Rather I would really like it to be the version from LB3: Beyond Gotham. Regards, Mitch
  23. Good God, those are some awesome backstories. Did you make those up yourself, or? Regarding the custom minifigs, they look excellent The Redeemed Vader looks a little darker (color-wise) than the source material, but still.. Also, about that source material: What exactly is that source? Regards, Mitch
  24. Hello, all. Visitor from the Licensed and SW themes here I'm currently writing a Superman fanfiction wherein space travel and such is a slightly recurring theme, so that has fired my interest in the topic in general. Seeing these sets fuel that interest even more and make me want to build my own NASA-like facility and all these amazing sets will definitely help me do that. I particularly like the recently leaked/revealed Rocket Transport, which reminds me a lot of Thunderbirds (as well do some other sets, incidentally) So I think I might actually buy the most of this theme and save them for when I have enough room. Regards, Mitch
  25. Nice! I just ordered the Tantive IV and got the same freebies and double V.I.P. Regards, Mitch
