Google search leads to a Shop at Home page to help with buying LEGO for Christmas. I get lots of smiles and some comments when people read my car number plate.

I spotted Santa's Little Helper hanging around bus stops in Wellington, NZ. How did he get there? In his little grey car

Flashing LED's (red, yellow, green, blue) are $NZ 1.50 each and I would need 18 in my LED array. A NE555 timer is only $NZ 1.50 and I would only need cheap LED's. I dont think the flashing LED's would all flash in snyc. The NE5555 timer is also a lot cheaper than a microcontroller and the output can handle 200mA. Click here to see how many LEDS a 555 can drive

Based on real trucks Click here then scroll down to Traffic Management My access steps are at the front to allow for the battery underneath.

New Zealand: "Where to find Lego"

I emailed Helen today. She is away and will be reopening her store on Monday night. I was suffering from brick withdrawal symptoms -
V-LI-09A Traffic management truck with attenuator and flashing sign. I pass these daily in my job as an Intercity Coach driver. This uses the cab from 4643 Power Boat Transporter. It has a new chassis that has space for a 9 volt battery. The video uses Hand of God trickery to achieve the flashing. I am going to build a 555 timer circuit to power the LED's. Probably hide it in the cab.

A version with LED lights is next. Just need to do a Bricklink order for some red technic 1 x 1 bricks.

The yellow wheels on the John Deere tractor. Are they painted? I can not find a Bricklink reference for yellow ones.

Great collection of vehicles I really love the Steinwinter and the rat rod. Keep up the good work

Been thinking of turning it into a Coca Cola truck so am after some Coca Cola stickers. I might even make it into the Christmas version as I bought yesterday some 20 LED christmas lights that fit technic holes

Noticed a lot of new users with random letters as their name and birthday is close to the joining day. Some profiles have questionable links. Have reported 2 but think it is just the tip of the iceburg.

Agreed, I have now moved rear wheels back 1 stud and it is much better, thank you

V-LC-03C My MOC of a 1985 Mack Supeliner using parts from 8486 Mack and 3221 LEGO truck. Using reference photos I moved the exhaust stacks to the sides and made a smaller sleeper. The trailer unit has a tail lift as new large red doors are hard to find. 99% completed, just need some red car doors for the cab and 2 more red panels for the trailer.

Farmers have 25% off all toys until end of Sunday. So I'm off to buy some aliens -
Found out it is from China and is from a company called Shantou Wange Toys Industrial Co., Ltd. Click here

Can anyboby identify what the brand is? Not LEGO as shown by the poor design of the cab and it is not a LEGO minifig inside. Look here

Can anyone help ID a 1980's(?) Lego publication
AllanSmith replied to samcruise's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have it stored away somewhere. Bought it new way back in the 80's and I don't think I touched the stickers -

Toyworld Lower Hutt does the same. I only live 5 minutes walk from Toyworld Wellington but drive to Lower Hutt because I don't have to feel the bags They will also ring you when they restock the counter box with ones that you were after. Excellent service -
I have all the modulars except the Pet Shop which I am getting soon, but only one of. The Grand Emporium is great and the only one I have bought 3 of to make a larger store. I also have a boxed Cafe Corner so I can add another floor to my built one. So my vote goes to the Grand Emporium. It looks empressive and I love the escalators.

I would go for the LEGO truck. It is a great set. I have 4 of them plus 4 of the Toys R Us version. LEGO are always bringing out Police boats and the Marina will be around for at least 2 years.

I am trying to design ballast for the train track so I can order plates from Bricklink. How do you get the track in LDD to sit on the plates as it appears to have a smooth base?

If you are using the new type of coupler they have a stud on top. I used a 1 x 2 tile on the studs to hold them together.
