  1. Thanks, I was looking at the older style part number 2145 on Bricklink.
  2. Love the ornamental arches over the windows. Are they painted? as Bricklink only shows them as being avaliable in White, Red and Yellow.
  3. LED resistor value was the one Jaycar had in their catalogue for this particular LED at 9v. I am currently playing around with different 555 Timer circuits, it's been over 10 years since I was a technician. Porta-loo's are not my design. Bought them off a New Zealand auction site as the owner is breaking up his christmas LEGO display.
  4. Dr Who's Tardis in Dark Blue with fading LED. 9v battery and 555 timer circuit board fit inside the Tardis Lego Digital Designer .lxf file Enjoy
  5. They did that to me when I had a reference picture of a Cessna Plane in a front yard of a house which I did a MOC off. To get around it I now add reference pictures inside the MOC picture. Examples: Mower Mack truck
  6. Finished my truck and also built two. One to display "<-" sign and one to display "X" sign. 9v battery and 555 timer circuit underneath powering 10 LED's at the rear. Rebuilt chassis to give centre access and redesigned hinge at rear. Enjoy again
  7. I have a few video tapes with some of those scenes. They were in a plain white cover produced by LEGO and given to stores for promotional purposes.
  8. Toyworld Wellington has 20% off LEGO (Wellington Anniversary Weekend). Bought an unopened carton of series 6 minifigures for $240
  9. You have to register with the forum. Then you can click on the thumbnail picture and get the bigger picture
  10. There is a bell, it's dark grey and inside the white portion of the tower.
  11. Moore Wilson's in Wellington have some City sets. Picked up 4431 Ambulance, 4432 Rubbish truck and 4434 Tipper truck for $34 each (RRP elsewhere is $39.99)
  12. It's gone from the Russian shop web page
  13. I love it Hope its avaliable from S&H before the free worldwide shipping days are on offer. By zooming in, on the town hall back picture, there is a vertical groove beside the wall corner. You can see the wall colours of the end bricks in the shadow of the groove. I reckon this is to move the elevator/lift up and down the building.
  14. I would say he did not because it is a 4000 x 3000 image. Max here is 800 x 600
  15. I do Bought From Toyworld Wellington: Ninjago 9440 Venomari Shrine for the new brick wall parts. Cars2 9481 Jeff Gorvette City 4436 Patrol Car
  16. Price in NZ will be NZ$360 up from NZ$300 for the old modulars. This would equal US$180 considering that that the City vehicle sets going for US$20 will be NZ$40 here.
  17. I drive coaches for a living and we have double deckers in our fleet. All the bus wheels come up to about my waist height so I think the lego wheels are ok for buses / trucks. Just to big for cars
  18. I decided that the welding flashes were more arc welding than gas welding so i have just thrown together this little arc welder for my man to use
  19. The Camper, Horse stable, Horse trailer, Speedboat and Plane are in the Summer release
  20. OK, have added fire engine siren Enjoy

    LEGO fire

Simulated fire using a Westimation microcontroller and LED's. I replaced the supplied yellow and orange LED's with brighter ones and used some scrunched up cling film as a light diffuser. I reused the supplied LED's with a battery to provide background light. Enjoy
  22. Bought from a NZ auction site, see ad below. I also bought a fire simulator, but added brighter LED's to put in a burning LEGO building. Ad start: Simulate a Welder on your model railway or motor vehicle scene . Complete with a start flash and random on and off times, just like a real welder operator would do. Could be used for model tanks and guns. Runs on 4.5-6V, Plug pack (old Cell phone charger) or battery operation. Size 22x10mm Approx, Supplied complete with Flasher Module, 1 Super bright White 3mm LED and easy to follow instructions Using latest microprocessor technology and professionally assembled. See You Tube and search for Westimation. Email address Proudly designed and made in New Zealand.
  23. B-V-13D A small MOC that will go in the truck garage set 7462 at my next LEGO display in Taupo. Uses a welding simulator circuit from Westimation in New Zealand Enjoy
  24. Release dates in New Zealand are: Series 6 January 2012 Series 7 May 2012 Series 8 September 2012 All $NZ 4.99
  25. I split the order over 2 days, 2 Maersks on one order and 1 Maersk + Winter Bakery on the other. As it was free shipping over a couple of days. GST was included and I think if the order is below $400 there is no duty this end. The only time I got hit with duty was when LEGO mucked up on a Grand Carousel that I got express shipped the day it was released. They put the price on the documentation on the carton in Euros instead of NZ$. Which converted to heaps of NZ $$$$. As I needed it for a show the following week I paid so I could get it released. That was shipped through DHL were as normal shipping is with someone else and that has no documentation on carton.
