    maybe the sister (duplo aliens) simply didn't ever care to play with (destroy) his Gotham display. There's so many unknown variables about the relationship between the two worlds that stuff like that doesn't really bother me.

    I agree with all of that. You guys are really diving into this deep critical analysis and I'm loving it. I've been so busy and barely made time to see the prerelease, let alone digest it entirely, but seeing what you guys think is great.

    I didn't think he was all that important but i guess thats up to each individual viewer to decide. The banana got more screentime I think, but he wasn't a huge role either.

    Good movie!! Not as good as the first but i didn't expect it to be so I'm happy. I really like the direction they took Emmet in after his stereotypical heroes journey in the first. They could certainly make more sets. There's lots to dig from. Only the collectible minifigure choices seem even more strange now...

    Oh! There was a picture a while back on twitter that showed three babies on a hanging platform and one of them had the normal baby face. I thought you were referring to that.

    that commercial is canon and it's my favorite installment in the franchise.

    Attack of the Crab Monsters. it felt similar to The Killer Shrews, but not nearly as good.

    I'm not saying president business is or ever was directly based off trump, but they clearly share some common personality traits and it's not unreasonable or "shoehorning" for people to see the parallels between them. Politics suck, I'm done talking about that. I'm glad Business is back for the sequel though.

    Well President Business is a President...and a businessman... much like the current united states president. I agree your sentiment but this particular instance doesn't feel shoehorned at all. I love the Wizard of Oz and Apocalypsburg figures too. That apocalypse cat is super cute. I wonder which one he is.
