    Nothing yet I'm afraid. Promobricks has another video ready and they promised to have it uploaded today - the only thing we can do is wait.

    That's awesome! Just when you thought this set can't get any better it gets better. This shapes up to be one of my most favorite Technic set of all time. August can't come soon enough.

    Definitely, if there weren't Promobricks taking pictures at the Fair we still wouldn't have proper pictures of the Fireplane. Definitely best coverage of the Technic sets this year.

    Well promobricks promised to upload another, more detailed video showing the Merc Arocs and Crawler Crane either later this evening or tomorrow. We should definitely get another video :)

    I think that's probably it. Damn, TLG really makes my wallet empty this year - all 3 Technic summer sets are simply amazing! I will get all of them (the first time I do this). Great job LEGO! In addition to the Technic sets I'll have to buy the Creator Expert Ferrari F40 (exclusive) and the Kwik-E-Mart. Expensive year :)

    Is it just me or does this Fire Plane look a lot like Dusty in Planes 2 :)

    They are not connected. To say it looks a lot like 42025 is a bit strange, it looks completely different - the only thing that's about the same is its functions. I'm interested to see how the water function works, so the storage and how to open it. What's this used for?

    Great plane. Looks very good and has some nice functions. On the box they forgot the stickers it seems :)

    I think we can expect to see some good pictures of the Fireplane tomorrow. I was told by Promobricks that they've taken pictures of it as well as the other models and they are currently preparing an article on the 2H 2015 LEGO Technic sets.

    I wish they'd use printed pieces instead of all the stickers. We all know what happens after a few years with the stickers ... and without them it doesn't look that great.

    By tilting up the trucks cabin you can have a look at the L6 engine, that's basically it.

    Any idea on the length of this beast? How big (size) will it be compared to other LEGO Technic trucks (8285, 8109, 8258)?

    I never disassemble any of my official LEGO sets - I love them too much, especially the big and expensive stuff like the LEGO Technic flagships.

    There's working suspension - both on front and rear :) On rear I think it's pendular suspension, on the front tyres suspension similar to the Unimog suspension. Love that!

    I'm fine with one big set per year and a CMF series every ear. Would you really prefer five to six sets (presumably small ones) over one big and great set? Just have a look at the Minecraft sets, they get worse and smaller every wave it seems. Also The Simpsons theme is a UCS handled theme by TLG. Just as the Modular Series, there'll be a single new set every year. In ten years time we'll have a great Simpsons LEGO town with lots of cool stuff, pretty sure about that.

    ^ That's quite possible, yeah. Did you recognize that the yellow pieces at the rear - next to the rear tyres - are stored in wrong/another position this time. This definitely confirms that they are/can be used to prevent the trucks rear tyres from moving :) Nice touch there.
