The AT-ST, microfighter and Ahsoka went live on S@H last night in Aus, not the other sets as others have mentioned. Ahsoka is already on backorder. Went into my certified store and grabbed the AT-ST, they hadn’t received the other sets yet except for the microfighter. Really annoyed that the battle pack has been pushed to the 10th, I’m desperate to fill my walker lol and I’m not putting in a S@H order for only the brickheadz

I hate the last jedi more than anyone else, but this complaint is invalid. They are directly above a planet, gravity is in full effect.

Considering that a lot of people were somehow opposed to the idea it’s not that surprising. I’m more upset about the commander from the gunship turning up here. Of all the exclusive figures from UCS sets to turn up in a cheap set, it just had to be the commander.

Great. The certified store near me never has accessory packs and if these are anything like the 501st pack they’ll be perpetually out of stock online.

What does MandR have to do with this discussion? Things were leaking out of LAN long before his channel took off and they will continue to leak out of LAN long after his channel crashes and burns. FWIW if SVL came back tomorrow and gave us info for the 2HY sets I’d still trust him. His legacy is good in my book, I don’t think the V-19 and Resistance Pod rumor originated from him and even if it did it was an isolated incident that became a pretty good joke with how prevalent the “rumor” was for the next 2 years.

You are absolutely right when you talk about a fake list being easy to spot from a mile away. It’s kinda funny how almost every person who tries to fake a list gets tripped up on the same things. For a while there we knew a list was fake because everyone kept putting the V-19 and resistance transport on their fakes.

So there’s a page in the instructions of the lightsaber GWP that states it’s the saber Luke had in RotJ… I’ve defended the LEGO Star Wars team a lot this year but I think I finally get where some of the gunship haters have been coming from. They definitely need someone on the team who is actually a Star Wars fan to be checking for that sort of stuff.

Yes. It will stay built for a while and later be taken apart for space (maybe the parts, haven’t built it yet so idk if there’s anything I need) or to be rebuilt again. It’s not about damaging a handful of parts either, it’s about the building experience and the fact that all of the knees and the middle section can’t be disassembled properly is annoying. It’s not enough to completely turn me off of a set I already bought to build but it is enough to make me wait for a few weeks to see if lego is going to do anything about it.

Occam’s razor, and since Disney Star Wars has become entangled in politics I think entertaining any other explanations is a waste of time.

Even if the head prints are the ones from the 501st battle pack it’s still an improvement. You’re a fool if you think that the figures are going to be the same as the ones released 10 years ago, and furthermore the old figures are worth a small fortune so getting new versions is great for all the people who missed out on the old ones… which I’m certain is a higher number of people than those who would boycott an accessory pack over the clones having the “wrong” helmets. The last clone probably is just a shiny… but if it is based on Rookies then it could easily be Fives 1. I kinda get why they exist, having a $16 millennium Falcon is great, but the out of proportion style sucks. Bring back the planet series please. 2. It’s simple, I want Rex and Cody figures. Especially since these will almost certainly be done in a normal style without CW eyes, have realistic skin tones under the helmet and have new prints. The fact that these two characters are going to be available together and in a cheap set is icing on the cake. Would I have preferred phase 2? Absolutely. Would I have rather gotten 3 plain clone troopers instead of the 2 most popular named clones? Absolutely not.

I’m sorry, but Rex and Cody are two of the most requested figures of the last 10 years. Really seems like to me like they’re listening to the fans.

That’s some wishful thinking right there. We won’t know for sure until January but if it’s anything other than 3 shinies we’ll be lucky.

Oh yay, an illegal build made it in to a thousand dollar set. This is gold, I can't wait to watch this get blown way out of proportion. People who never intended to buy this set will be using this as their excuse not to buy it and will cause copious amounts of drama just like the perceived lack of minifigures in the gunship. Very surprising... why didn't this get out sooner? A lot of the people who had review copies definitely would have picked up on that being illegal. I foresee this causing massive problems. Not only can you not get the axle out, you can't get the frame off of the turntable with the axle in place. People are definitely going to end up attaching the frame to the turntable wrong and will be unable to fix it once they realize their mistake. It's possible this was done on purpose for stability reasons, but I'm guessing this is a massive oversight from quality control and I reckon there's a high chance we'll see a fix akin what happened with the Wall-E ideas set.

I can guarantee you they will try. Poor sales is such a bs excuse. Of course sales are going to be poor if you don’t give the customers stock to buy
