  1. "Brace yourself young master knight, we'll need your shield, sword and wits before this is over..." Ezeran studies the guards closely.
  2. Walking fast after the others Ezeran casts a last glance a the trinket left behind. Trap or not, he couldn't tell but he had a feeling they were being watched.
  3. Pondering the knights statement Ezeran looks carefully at the chalice while studying it. "You are probably right, it depends on if it's connected to magical source or not. It could be a classic mechanical trap as well, I couldn't tell really..."
  4. "Let's just say it's safe for me..." Ezeran looks at the chalice and strokes his short beard. "If you want my opinion: leave it!"
  5. Ezeran looks tired. "That nostrum sure would be handy for me if this scenario will present itself again, which I regretfully consider a stark possibility..."
  6. A bit tired after being vomited upon Ezeran responses with a tired smile. "It does a lot of things, it's prone to sneezing acid but sadly neither my symbiont nor me are becoming ill by manslaughter anymore, we've seen to much of it..."
  7. Ezeran cringes as he is puked upon, the symbiont spits in a frantic manner as Ezeran downs a remedy and casts a fire spell from the back row at the remaining beast.
  8. Ezeran attacks Woozy again Wwith a fire spell, if Woozy gets knocked Down he attacks guard 4 otherwise he attacks him twice.
  9. Seeing the weaker guard tremble Ezeran steels himself , drinks a mead and casts a fire spell at Woozy from The back row.
  10. Ezeran sighs. "True immortality? Sounds like a perk given from some of the higher forms of demons. I've hade some experience with that and trust me: these things are not to be trifled with..."
  11. "I was born with it, long story I'm afraid."
  12. Ezeran is careful not to speak, The symbiont sports a wide diabolic grin.
  13. Nodding in agreement Ezeran too inhaled a Smelling Salts and took a big sip from the mulled wine he had in a flask in his satchel. "That was oddly refreshing, let's go!"
  14. "I wouldn't have offered my services if I wouldn't have thought it would be the best strategy. Let's do it and get going."
  15. Ezeran looks on wondering att The possible double moral standards at work. He says nothing but The symbiont snarls.
  16. "Actually there are a number of herbs that would do the trick, a sprouting of Wicked Maidensbell would do the trick nicely making their stomachs turn inside out and cause hallucinations. Shall I give it a go?"
  17. Ezeran shrugs. "We could add a laxative..."
  18. Ezeran nods. "Let's go!"
  19. Ezeran looks at Vindsval. "It's up to you, I haven't dealt with these people before so I can't make an accurate assessment of this situation."
  20. "Maybe we should try the official neutral approach, have an audience and talk with them. It might come to blows but if we sneak in on their premises there will definitely be violence. We haven't agreed to killing anyone so why not try it out? We'll be able to assess their defensive capabilities in situ."
  21. Ezeran smiles at Petaldan. "Actually, young master knight here have a good point. What we need is information to provide us with tactical knowledge of the situation. They would be expecting their enemies to skulk in to the side entrances." Ezeran turns to Galedo, Jackson and the others. "What if I were to approach the enemy and offer my services as a rogue member of Heroica? By now they know that something is going on so why not try and nestle our way in? I would however need some kind of help to help me come through with this ruse."
  22. Ezeran nods in agreement with the plan while pondering the layout of the structure.
  23. Ezeran sighs. "Enough with the moral lectures, you can call a conference on ethical discussions when we are back in Eubric but for now we have a job to do investigating this matter. I already apologized so let us move on." the symbiont snarls before being hushed by Ezeran.
  24. Ezeran shrugs and brushes off some more dust from his robe. Mind you master Half Giant that hesitation is what gets you killed, if the spell had worked as intended the jailer would have been harder to detect than your plan which you didn't put in action fast enough not to put us at risk. Concerning these guards. Ezeran points at the bodies. They knew their duty and the risks that came with it. Now if you want to lead then go on and lead but don't expect us to stand and wait while you wrestle with your moral standards. Ezeran slips Petaldan 10 gold for the mead.
  25. I'll try, sorry for yelling at you. I can become a bit protective of Petaldan sometimes.
