Stepping through the portal a shiver runs down Ezerans spine. Taking in the view he just stands immobile taking in the view. "This is nothing like any demonic realm I've ever seen, everything seems so... Smooth?"

"We don't know how long this portal will be open, we might have to rush through to minimise the risk of being stranded on the other side..."

"Is that supposed to be here?" Ezeran asked hesitantly supported by the sudden gasp of the symbiont at the reveal of the portal.

Ezeran sighs. "That one was on me, sorry..."

OoC: Sorry my kid has been home sick so I've missed out. The action provided by Palathadric is good by me.

Ezeran attacks the spore cluster twice with his Ooze wand from the front row.

Ezeran carefully takes cover behind a toppled statue and casts two light spells at Fungal fighter A from the back row. "Be careful with those spores and we will make it out of here!"

Ezeran uses a smelling salts and then casts a light spell at Rot summon B from the back row with the ooze wand (twice if smelling salts allow it).

Still peering down the giant hole trying to illuminate it Ezeran answers without abandoning his concentration. "Be my guest and try to deal with the spores, maybe some kind of spell could prevent the dust to whirl around in the air somehow..."

"We have to consider the possibility that the Oracle sealed this place shut for a reason, the question is why? Maybe we are about to unleash something really nasty... " Making sure not to inhale any spores Ezeran carefully peaks into the giant hole. He reaches out to the etheral planes and conjures a picture in his head of a small kindling flame illuminating the darkness beyond.

Ezeran carefully looks for clue as to how long thw chamber has been sealed.

Ezeran looks both puzzled and frustrated as his spell vanes into oblivion. "Well, so much for brute force... There is obviously powerful wards protecting this place which is perhaps good as it keeps not only us out but also our enemies." Contemplating the ghostly sigils Ezeran rubs his chin and sits down to think.

Ezeran catches his breath after the hurried flight. "Let's see what we can do about that door!" Seeing the door in his mind Ezeran visualizes big roots and vines cracking the door posts open, he then tries to project it on the door touching the realm of ether.

Ezeran follows Sküld and Boomingham. "Do we need to stop at the marketplace?"

Ezeran hears the alarm and motions Torald, Petaldan and Sküld to the door looking for their weapons.

"Thanks for the lead! We will probably look it up! I don't believe we have a magic compass but we could always head to the marketplace on our way!" Turning once more to Sküld Ezeran rubs his chin and asks: "Any clue where to start? Is the Oracle forced in to hiding somewhere special?" Hearing the Copper Fox dubbing Petaldan to become a paladin Ezerans face lights up with almost paternal pride. "The Copper Fox is wise, you were already a Paladin in all but the job description, you encompass so much good!" "Sorry, but I haven't had a reason to pick one up. Should we head to the marketplace to stock up on essentials?" Searching for the oracle because the kind NPC hinted at it.

Ezeran slumps down behind the remains of the table that had been his fortress during the fight. "What a mess." He looks at Torald and Petaldan as he heaves himself up to his feet and brushes of the dust that had settled on the brim of his hat. He looks at Sküld. "Any idea what to do now?" he nods to Torald and Petaldan. "Are you fine? I sure would like my weapon back..."

Ezeran turns to Petaldan and Torald and mouths an urgent message. "Be ready to escort Sküld out of here once the way is clear, we need our weapons as well." sensing a good opportunity to strike Ezeran then casts a curved fire spell at Geezer from the back row.

Still hiding behind a table Ezeran grits his teeth and tries to buy the other heroes some more time by casting a dark spell at Paladin Infantry C from the back row.

Seeing his comrades searching for weapons Ezeran tries to keep the guards occupied and casts a dark spell at the Paladin priest from the back row.

Amazing work on your part, this will be an epic finale. This would actually deserve a notice on the front page (and a commemorative oil painting).

Hiding behind a overturned table but still with his wits intact Ezeran replies "I've got one even better: a gang of misguided Town watchmen walks into a bar..." the punchline however, was drowned out by clamour but the symbiont laughed with all it's corrupted little heart spreading its acid saliva over the room. Ezeran casts a dark spell at the Paladin Infantry from the back row.

I always love having Petaldan tagging along with Ezeran.
